Re: Talking Point: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Would be No Surprise, as Nostalgia Rules for Nintendo

Phle

The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is my favourite Zelda game, and if Nintendo makes an HD remake, it will be the first time I play a Zelda game that I've played before on another console. I "recently" started to play Legend of Zelda games. So far, all the remakes has been my first experience with the games.
The first Legend of Zelda game I played was TLoZ: Ocarina of Time 3D (in 2011?), then TLoZ: Twilight Princess (Wii), TLoZ: Skyward Sword, TLoZ: The Wind Waker HD, TLoZ: A Link Between Worlds and at last TLoZ: Majoras Mask 3D.

I see some people say that Nintendo should make a The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD remake, but in my opinion Skyward Sword has graphics that looks pretty good, with a unique style that gives a timeless impression. The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess on the other hand, could benefit so much from a HD remake, the game looks old, even though it has the right colors and graphics style.

I really hope to see a The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD remake and if it happens, I'm sure it will be someones first experience with the game.

Re: Apple Just Announced Its Own Wii, Almost A Decade After Nintendo

Phle

That's what I thought when I saw Apple's presentation yesterday.

But I also thought, sadly for Nintendo, Apple TV seems like the thing that could make home gaming consoles history. And then I thought "I really want an Apple TV".

In my opinion Nintendo should aim for partnership with Apple. Hate me as much as you like, Apple is a real threat for Nintendo and other gaming console companies like Sony.

Re: Potential Massacre Averted At Pokémon World Championships

@Yorumi First, I didn't say all weapons should be illegal. Non-lethal weapons would be fine with restrictions to use them.
Secondly, I agree that removing all guns from the earths surface would be impossible. Peoples attitude is what could make a huge change. It's way to accepted to own a gun, at least in some countries.

Drugs are entirely different from guns.
Drugs are something a person can get something from (feelings / emotions / escape from the daily life), even if that person was the last living thing on earth. Guns don't give you anything. Some people feel a fake "I'm safe because I have this gun", but in reality it's not true, unless you're a police officer or something. If you where the last living thing on earth, a gun would be completely useless.

And at last: @JakeOfAllTrades You think you can fight the army with your gun?!
Sorry this is just...
I don't even...

Re: Potential Massacre Averted At Pokémon World Championships

@Yorumi well, the problem is that people are allowed to own guns in the USA. As long as there are guns, there will be shooting. One building that isn't allowing guns will not change anything. We need countries without guns. Really, if no one had a gun, no one would be shooting.

Re: Nintendo President Satoru Iwata Passes Away Aged 55

I just found out today, I have been on summer vacation without internet. These news really hurt, I'm shocked. I will miss Satoru Iwata, he was an amazing man and I loved seeing him in Nintendo Directs.

Like @-KwB- said:
No Nintendo Direct will be the same without the "Directeaerely " !

Re: Nintendo Is A Slave To Its Past Success, Says Gearbox President Randy Pitchford

Well, I haven't been a Nintendo fan for very long, and I'm not a huge fan, they sometimes annoy me. I'm not a Mario fan. I never played Nintendo games when I was a kid, because I wasn't allowed to play games and bought my first game (Pokémon Diamond) when I was 20. I got more into gaming when I met my BF a few years later. Anyway. Nintendo managed to reach me with Pokémon games, because I've always been a huge fan of the TV series.

Nintendo will not reach many customers the way they reached me. They need games that can stand side-by-side with the new Assassin's Creed and make 50% of the people walking by to check out their game before they check out the new Assassin's Creed game. They need to realise that most gamers are adults.

Re: Satoru Iwata Didn't Apologise For Nintendo's E3 Digital Event, Says Reggie Fils-Aime

Phle

I really feel like he shouldn't apologise for Nintendo's digital event, if fans aren't satisfied then that's sad, but Nintendo probably did their best.

I feel like they have a lot of "secrets" going on right now, like the Nintendo NX and new Nintendo games coming to mobile devices. They are changing, but they don't want other companies know what they are planning, at least not the details, until the time is right. It's a difficult situation, with many thing to take in to consideration.

My main complaint is that Nintendo should have had Fatal Frame: The Black Haired Shrine Maiden and Devil's Third in their digital event. They seriously need to focus less on "young kinds might be watching" and more on "adult fans would really like this". They are hurting themselves too much over parenting kids, without getting any profit from it.

Re: Nintendo's E3 'Roadmap' Infographic Shows Off Upcoming Releases on Wii U and 3DS

Phle

I'm interested in:
Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer
The Legend of Zelda Tri Force Heroes
Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon
Xenoblade Chronicles X
Hyrule Warriors Legends
Zelda Wii U
Fire Emblem Fates

Maybe also:
Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival
Yo-Kai Watch
Mario Maker
Metroid Prime Federation Force

I feel like 3DS got some pretty good games coming, but the Wii U seems to be slightly left behind.

Re: Reggie Has Been Pushing For Binding Of Isaac To Come To Nintendo Consoles Since 2012

Phle

Sad it's took so long for this game to make it to 3DS and Wii U. This game has been really popular, but I feel like it's on it's way down now, everyone that was interested has already played it...

My BF was into playing it about a year ago or maybe a bit more. He also watched YouTube videos of others playing it.

I'm not sure if I like it. At first I hated it, but not anymore. I've been forced to watch (when my BF watch this all day, the only way of spending time with him is watching it with him) a lot of YouTube videos of gamers playing this game. So I see that this game could have been a big deal for the 3DS and the Wii U if it only came a bit sooner...

Re: Skylanders SuperChargers Melds Mario Kart, Star Fox And Wave Race, Coming To Wii U, Wii And 3DS This September

Phle

"Each game is given an epic adventure". That's a really bold statement. I have only played the first Skylanders game for 3DS, it's a pretty good game as long as you have every type of figurine. The only thing it lacks, sadly for Activision is the story! The story is sad and dull. It's probably the main reason I never got any of the next games.

Guess the kids like the toys though. I just found them annoying.

I think it's almost sad that they make a Wii version. I mean Wii was already replaced with the Wii U by Nintendo when they released the first Skylanders game. Or am I wrong?

Re: Video: The World is a Better Place Thanks to These Rhythm Tengoku: The Best Plus Commercials

Phle

I love these (^_^) Funny commercials are too rare.

Wonder why commercials in my country always are so annoying that I get really angry and can't even force myself to watch.

I either turn the sound off and play Pokémon Shuffle or leave the living room with plans to come back when it's over. Sometimes I forget to continue watching whatever I was watching because they cut to commercials and I started doing something else and in the end I never returned to the TV.

It gets worse every year. When I was a kid, I remember they sent some really funny ones. I even felt like getting things I had seen in commercials before. Now it's like: Oh that's the product from that horrible commercial with that woman I hate. I'm never buying this ever, I don't even want it for free.

Re: Pokémon Shuffle Hits Four Million Downloads and Launches Shaymin Event

Phle

I got a Mega Lucario stone today -super happy- Even my BF plays Pokémon Shuffle every day. I don't spend money on it though, neither does my BF. But Nintendo might still benefit from Pokémon Shuffle. It makes 3DS owners pick up their 3DS more often, which is a good thing. I spend money on other games and I've even bought quite a few background themes.
