Honestly, I’m probably not buying it. I would have played it if it was free, but I rather buy a full game than half game, half manual that cost money. What if next time you buy a vacuum cleaner you would have to pay extra for getting a manual with it 🤦🏼♀️ it doesn’t matter if the manual have some pretty pictures and that it’s well written! It’s still a scam if it’s not included!
I’m planing on playing Let’s Go Pikachu, Diablo III & World of Warcraft. I would play Astral Chain if I could, but it’s sold out everywhere and I want a physical copy, so maybe next weekend.
This trailer is full of plot spoilers! I know most people have seen it before, but there’s got to be some people out there who’s watching this for the first time! And seriously what is with this music? I don’t think it’s a bad song, but wouldn’t this trailer be better with actual trailer style, and not just this weird music video feeling?
I am insanely hyped for Animal Crossing. If Nintendo delivers Animal Crossing with launch this year, I will be happy. In that case, there will be no complaints from me, even if they spend 20 minutes talking about the next smash character.
I don’t understand why this is so expensive? It should not cost more to develop than a full game? Or maybe they are trying to make up for the lack sales they are expecting?
My personal favorite 3DS games in no order: Kid Icarus Uprising Animal Crossing New Leaf Virtue’s Last Reward Pokémon X and Y Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time The Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask Miitopia Tomodachi Life Fantasy Life Super Smash Brothers Xenoblade Chronicles New Style Boutique (Style Savvy)
Nintendo Direct has been a feature from Nintendo and they have been using it for several years now. Considering how the players seems to love these presentations, it’s very easy to understand why Sony would want to get in on the ride.
On the side note, I missed the broadcast as they never really reach out to me in a way that catch my attention. Nintendo always send me emails about upcoming Nintendo Directs, and as they don’t send me too much trash emails, I always notice. Sony does however send me several trash emails with no real information and that has caused me to ignore or just barely glance at their mails. They should learn not to overuse the fact that I have email notifications on. Just send me mails when you’ve actually got something Sony! Learn from Nintendo’s carefully chosen number well made emails, that would do you good.
Well, I like that they went with no hardware. Because I’m not interested in that. I could be interested in trying their game stream service, I would like being able to play games I usually play on my iMac on portable devices, like an iPad or iPhone. But I’m really picky with games. They better bring good ones. I’m not a fan of typical mobile games.
Doesn’t look very good. I can’t believe they went with a girl as the main character and even if that not so bad, why did they go with a thin girl? Isn’t this supposed to be like a marine solider or something? They could at least have chosen a muscular girl. Someone who looked like she could carry 20kg of weapons and fight big nasty monsters at the same time...
Personally, I love buying physical games, and where I live, physical games are more expensive than downloading and you often have to wait for games to be delivered from online stores, as physical stores are even more expensive and they have a poor selection of physical games available. Even so, I usually pay more and wait a few days for the physical game. Especially after I just bought my boyfriend a Nintendo Switch and getting physical games let him play them on his Switch instead of using mine. However, some people might be interested in a digital switch, but I don’t think it’s ever going to be for me.
It’s easy for us to say that he needs to give himself more time to relax. To take a vacation. That’s the obvious answer to people hearing about his work schedule.
He has the money and the possibility to take time of work, from what others can see.
But we’re not him. Maybe he isn’t the type of person who can take time of work and be happy at the same time? People are different, they have different requirements to feel happy. I could be wrong and of course I would love for him to rest a few months at some beach, but I don’t want to tell him that I know better than he does how he should live his life.
The starter that appeals most to me is the water type, Sobble. I was so amazed by Froakie and it’s evolutions in X and Y, so maybe that’s why I think Sobble looks so promising. I’m kind of hoping that it will have a cool second type eventually. Scorbunny looks like it might evolve into something that’s fire and fight. I really hope that isn’t the case. That’s been done enough to fire starters right now.
Pokémon is always going to have an important part of my heart. I first watched the anime when I was 14, that’s 20 years ago. After that I continued to follow the anime, at one point in my life, the only thing I had to look forward to was to watch the new episode on sunday mornings. When I say “only thing” I’m not even exaggerating. I was sick and lived in a hospital. I had no social life and really nothing to live for. Pokémon was everything to me. I still love Pokémon even though my life is much more normal now. I’ll definitely pick up the next Pokémon game, and in the meantime I’ll be playing Pokémon Go and Let’s Go Pikachu.
I don’t know if this is real, but I wouldn’t mind Splatoon 2 on Xbox, at least as long as cross play with the switch is supported. More players in Splatoon is always a good thing. I honestly really like the idea of more online cross play between different consoles and even PC, not just for Splatoon. I think Nintendo and Microsoft could really find something that might give us the best online experience yet.
Definitely day one buy for me, love the look of these games. I’m very happy that they went with a sun and moon kind of look, as they where my favorite installation for the 3DS. No stupid tropical island with knitted wholly clothes that looks painfully awkward.
Wait, kids only got 5 games worth voting between? There is like 6 different choices for everting else and they have like 6 different types of best actors and then another 6 to vote for in each category. Games only has one category...
I’m super excited for this, I’ve never played Links Awakening before. I just loved A Link Between Worlds to bits, so I was hoping for another 2D Zelda game. This is probably a day one buy for me.
It never hurts to be nice, I really think some of these companies should be less afraid of praising the competition, it’s not going to hurt them at all. However, I do also believe they should be careful of making fun of a company who isn’t doing well at the moment, no matter what company it is.
I just think everyone will have a better time with less hate and more acceptance.
I haven’t bought Kingdom Hearts 3 yet, I was going to play the HD versions of the first games to the end first. I will buy Kingdom Hearts 3 at some point, that is certain.
It’s a game that has been teased for so long, it’s just going to be really sad if it’s not going to sell a few copies. It’s expected.
As a World of Warcraft player I can say that it’s incredibly unlikely that WoW is ever coming to the Switch. However - I would love to just have the app on the Switch, that should be pretty simple
I’m hoping for a summer/spring launch of Animal Crossing, and then Bayonetta 3 and Pokémon gen 8 sometime before Christmas. And I hope 2019 will finally bring background themes, folders and more apps to the Switch.
Yeah, I missed out on Lunatone before it swapped with Solrock the first time, so I would totally like for them to swap again. I hate the gaps in my Pokédex.
You know the “current focus” doesn’t necessarily last more than 6 months. Which mean a new Switch could see the light by the holidays one year from now.
I don’t understand why people are so mean to Reggie, he isn’t all powerful. I think he knows that the current online offer is lacking, but I personally believe Nintendo will do something about that. I really believe they have a plan. It might take a while before it’s applied however, that would be a classic Nintendo move.
Kid Icarus: Uprising is an amazing gem on the 3DS, I loved every moment of that game. The controls where good and accurate, but at the same time unusual, so they would surely be difficult to tranfer to the switch. Also considering the game would have to go from being a two screen game to running on one screen, I can understand that it would take a lot of effort porting the game to the switch. I would have loved it though.
I’ve stopped trying to level. After level 35, there isn’t really much point to it, and I’m currently level 38. There isn’t anything that will unlock for me at level 40. I can fully power up Pokémon and I’ve been able to do that since level 36 or 37. At this point I will probably reach level 40 in less than 6 months and I see no reason at all to rush.
However I do think adding more levels would scare away new players. Getting to level 30 (the most important level milestone in the game at the moment) is already quite time demanding and even though they have added more ways to get experience than ever before, I still believe it would seem unachievable for newcomers if they had to reach level 50 at some point.
I’m definitely going to try this. I’m not really sure if I’m impressed by this though, I like traditional Pokémon battles, turn based and more moves and so on... I guess I’ll find out pretty soon.
@KingdomHeartsFan I actually like breeding for those perfect IV’s, but I’ve known about this since I first got Pokémon Diamond at launch a long time ago. And after the modification they added to the breeding in generation 6, it became rather doable to get at least 5 perfect IV’s after some breeding. You need the egg moves anyway, so breeding is usually needed to make good Pokémon. I actually think the lack of competitive play in Pokémon Let’s Go sounds kind of depressing. I’ve just started on Let’s Go Pikachu and haven’t made it to the endgame yet, but it seems that Pokémon Let’s Go ends where all other Pokémon games begin...
This is sad. It’s still optional to pick up this game.
Personally, I’m planning on enjoying the game as much as possible, I play both classic Pokémon games and Pokémon Go. I’ve never played Pokémon Yellow before, so I thought maybe I can experience some of that in this game. I have ordered Let’s Go Pikachu, but it hasn’t been delivered yet. I’m not going to let all these kids destroy my experience, I’ll just avoid all the reviews and more about this game.

I can’t seem to find it on the App Store, so it’d not out yet for people in Norway, at least it doesn’t seem like it.

@Strumpan but you get a 25% tax if you do that (at least in Norway) And shipping to Norway is incredibly expensive (I’m in Norway)
