We reported not so long ago that The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses orchestra would be playing on The Colbert Show to not only promote the ongoing tour (which is continuing into 2016) but also to push the impending release of Tri Force Heroes on the 3DS.
The performance on The Colbert Show took place last night and the segment is now available online for your viewing (and listening) pleasure.
Have a look and let us know what you think - perhaps this is the first time you've seen the orchestra in action, or maybe you're one of the many lucky people who has attended one of the performances? Let us know by posting a comment.

I have to say I really enjoy Zelda music and I think it is a great thing that the Zelda Symphony was a part of the The Cobalt Show .
They are finally coming to Portugal, exactly one year from this day. I'm really looking forward to it, wondering if it will surpass Video Games Live.
@Shiryu How's Lisbon in October? I've been there several times in summer and love the city (and country). I'm trying to decide whether I should travel to Paris or Portugal next year for the concert. Because Vienna is obviously not interested in this Symphony stuff it seems.
@HarryK Today is a fine and sunny with no clouds. It's impossible to predict the weather nowadays, but I can assure you it will always be warmer in Lisbon than Paris.
I made sure to catch this on TV. An excellent performance and great way to promote Triforce Heroes and the tour.
The Colbert Show? That's not what the program is called. It's called The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Amazing
Been to the show yesterday in Brooklyn.
such a good show.
Bleeping PHENOMINAL!! I saw it last night! it was AMAZING!! I just wish that they had a longer spot...
...Still don't like it. I feel really bad, I love the symphony, and people keep telling me to go see it, and keep telling me how incredible it is, and I really want to like it with them, but I just don't think it's any good. I can't be the only one who thinks so, can I? Maybe that wasn't one of their better pieces, or something?
@ Nicolai
Nope. I really think you're the only one. Of course that was not a full piece, it was a medley. Maybe that's your issue?
(I really want a symphonic Castlevania 2 CD SET, teehee)
I just became a fan of Stephen Colbert
@Nicolai why don't you live it. They are great. It was a very condense show though.
Outstanding!!!
Unfortunately I couldn't catch it on TV (my bro turned the channel mid show because he wanted to watch Glenn Beck), but I watched it later on YouTube, and thought it was great.
@Kobeskillz @WhiteTrashGuy, it sounds bland when I listen. I guess it's because it doesn't express as many moods and emotions as symphonies from composers that I like. It's all epic and heroic, but that's all it expresses. This is what I hear in this performance, as well as the tracks that were on the CD that came with Skyward Sword, and other previews I've heard them play. Is there anything more meaningful that they play in live performances?
Amazing (Ö_Ö)
