I know I am so late responding to this. But SF2 on the SNES was a life changer for me also. My parents got it for me despite it costing $128 AUD(!) back in 1992. From Big W too which is cheaper than almost anywhere else. That’s more than Mario Kart World these days, kids!!

But it was well worth it as me and my school friends played it constantly. It’s still one of the best games ever in my opinion and I have introduced my niece to it, and will no doubt get my daughter into it too when she is older. Thanks PJ for the write up!!

I got 7 and 8 some time back, but I really should pick up 9 as remember renting it and loving it. Have never finished it though

Enjoying it so far! So glad Microids bring out games like this. I think my favorite (so far) of the Agatha Christie games though is Poirot: The First Cases.

I wasn’t keen on the look of this game from announcement, but (strangely) reading Kate’s review made me want to pick it up! I repeatedly experienced a crash when trying to fish for the first time, but after doing things a bit differently got past it and haven’t had any trouble since. I actually really enjoy it! My character, Pearl Longholes (hehe) has had some fun in the 6 hours I have played so far, so looking forward to digging in more now that I have a little more time.

Played this a lot a few years back at our local leagues club. It’s great fun!! Will pick it up but it would be great if there were some extra features added to the home conversion. Doesn’t sound like it though. Still will grab it hopefully can get a physical cart.

Yay I picked up a copy the other day as I have fond memories of these 2 games. I get why people don’t like them but I thought they were fun.

It feels like there’s a whole lot of good stuff from this gen that won’t be added to NSO. The list of 27 feels like it’s clutching at straws, but also theres some other things forgotten as pointed out by the comments above. Really hoping for lots of games to be released - would convince me to get a switch 2 😂

Played this a lot when it first came out. I feel a little behind when I boot it up from time to time now. Not enough free time to get fully stuck back in. I already definitely got my moneys worth though (and didn’t cave to any micro transaction tomfoolery). Pretty great game overall.

I’m not sure really what I am looking at here, but it looks legit cooler than it sounded from the description! Hopefully switch bound in some fashion.

I like it, reminds me of the YoGo gorilla. But I’m old and got used to the DK look from the Game and Watch we owned lol. Think it was Donkey Kong 2, brown on brown and had young DK rescuing old DK.

Edit: just looked up the price in that thing, maybe I should try and find it from my parents shed and list it on eBay haha.

Loved Splatoon 1 on Wii U but couldn’t get into 2. Is 3 worth it?

The ‘DK’ on the NA cover is massive, takes up half the box! Not particularly sold on any, but chose Japan this time.

I let my NSO sub lapse a few months ago, and this isn’t the first time. Will get it again if / when they add something I’m keen to play (Castlevania 64 perhaps?).

Only annoying thing of not having NSO is I want to play Endless Ocean online as that game is completely not worth it solo. Not that it’s much better online either unfortunately.

I think playing through this once was enough. Still need to check out 1 and 3 though, which sound more open structure.

Great game this. I pulled up just short of the end though, so I must go back and finish it off at some point. Haven’t really looked into the DLC or other modes too much though.

I do enjoy some digital monopoly, but like others here I wonder the difference between this and the older version. Hope there are a lot of unlockables or something to keep it interesting.
