PSA: dont sleep on Bluetooth audio on switch 2, it is better than it was on switch 1. If there is lag (which Im sure some audiophile with the equipment to test will let me know) I havent noticed it at all.

For me the oled was the perfect size, switch 2 is sadly too big for my small hands to hold comfortably. Adding a grip case to it will make it worse.

Was playing Hogwarts legacy in handheld mode last night and I noticed some ghosting when npc’s were walking about. Did it break the game? No. Was it noticeable? Yes.

PSA: no HDR is better than bad HDR 100% of the time.
If your display doesn’t support it properly dont bother with it.

PSA you can connect any camera to switch dock itself and they work just fine. No need to use the top USB C port at all.

So is the game 4k 60fps now for switch 2?

@chriswashere313 make sure your hdr is set to compatible software only or its gonna make non hdr games look horrible

I mean if you really must have an oled you can get an oled tv or a monitor. I’ve had all switch systems released so far and while yes the oled colors look better its still a 720p display. A bigger 1080p hdr 120 vrr lcd is a pretty good trade off.

People keep whining about the $80 dollar price tag when we all paid $50 dollars for it by getting the bundle, and that was a freaking steal.

All I want is to have all the games in one app, all the games should be available in the rated M version of the thing.

@Ryu_Niiyama ah Im sorry guess I didnt understand your question, but yes. All these updates are on the games themselves and when you load the virtual game card on a switch 2 you’ll get access to the enhancements. I plan on keeping my switch 1 so I’ll be using the virtual game cards a lot.

@Ryu_Niiyama all these updates are free, only zelda botw and totk are paid. If youre an NSO subscriber you also get them for free. Kirby and mario party are paid but thats because they have new content dlc

I’ll get one for novelty’s sake but I’ll probably be dual wielding wii style. I love the joycon.

I love Kirby forgotten land, $20 dlc that also gives me better graphics and performance is great to me.

If theyre making us pay full price for Hogwarts Legacy Im assuming its the same for this game.

@Bobb its the same price, the people reporting it was more expensive physical were wrong.

I plan on getting the bundle so mkw will be $50 not $80 (that is if they dont raise the price because of the tariffs)

@Ryu_Niiyama I have it since it released, its not something you notice when you have it on, its something you notice when you dont. Its certainly a niche product but I love mine, not just for the switch but for dvd and blurays as well. I agree with the review the og mclassic is the best version, the new models are disappointing.

I never understood why 3d Land is such a masterpiece to me but 3d world which is in paper a bigger better 3d land is such a bore for me to play through. I would LOVE a switch hd remaster of 3d land!

They should be credited as they were the original creators of the game, how are people defending this?

This change was also made for mario rpg, but it had the option of changing it back to the original controls.

Mclassic is one of those things were you dont notice it when you have it but you notice it when you dont. Ive had mine since launch and absolutely adore it. Great for the switch and retro consoles also works great with old blurays.

Switch 2 is a guaranteed success now.

Did the switch surpassed de ps2 yet? I remember reading about sony changing the ps2 sales number when the switch was nearing that some time ago.

I had no idea this wasnt on xbox before with how popular it is, good for them. I have it on my ipad pro but I could never find the time to get into it.

Should I play this or get the remaster that came out on switch a couple of years ago? I remember playing a ds version of this game and dismissing it quickly simply because it wasn’t the pokemon Im used to.

I dont mind the breakable master sword, what I do mind is that after it recharges it doesn’t last as long as the first time you got it. That is very clearly a bug that nintendo never bothered to patch. There are plenty of YouTube videos on the matter.

Emulators aren’t illegal people. This app doesn’t give you the roms, nothing shady is happening here.

We can complain but truth is we dont know why nintendo prices the games the way they do, prime remaster was cheaper but it is my understanding that it was a remaster done internally by nintendo, this one is being made by tantalus a third party studio. Nintendo needs to pay those developers for their hard work. Also brand perception, Nintendo clearly wants the world to look at dk as a premium brand like it does with zelda. Honestly if you really havent played this decade old game already youre not gonna play it now, and if you really want to there are cheaper ways to play this, it was on wii on 3ds, 3ds eshop on wiiu virtual console so its pretty easy to emulate. And finally dk tropical freeze is the superior game, go get that one instead!

Apple arcade has the plus version but the lack of controller support has kept me from playing it.

Well my mclassic upscales the games to 1440p while adding anti aliasing while keeping performance so thats the best its gonna get until a new switch arrives

Thanks to emulation and a passionate online community I was able to use one of my 3ds to play a pokemon crystal romhack on an emulator. If anyone here is a gen 2 hater like myself the romhack is called crystal legacy, it fixes all the issues that bothered me with johto. Liked it more than hgss

For me both games were mid, animations aside mario wonder did nothing for me. Sonic is about what I expected so I enjoyed that one more.

This game without the amiibo support is a crime against humanity!
