I will never understand why nintendo themselves didn’t do this back in the day, I owned all mario land games but I would’ve begged my parent’s to get me the color version (which they probably would’ve since they dont know much about games so they probably think it was a brand new game completely, thats how I got all three version of gen 1 pkmn lol)

I remember back when mario odyssey came out that I couldn’t perform the motion control correctly no matter what I did, so I beat it using the pro controller. Later a patch came for the joycons that fixed it but I never went back to play it as it was meant to be played, with a joycon in each hand

Only thing I wish is better surround sound options, switch doesn’t play nice with 5.1 soundbars

I really wish they would’ve brought back mega evolutions for these games. If they planned from the beginning not to have these remakes affect the current meta in swsh there would’ve been no issues for having it since it bdsp aren’t competitive pkmn games

If this app would just let you chat and text with nso friends without being on the same game it would be 100 times better

I mean I’ve beaten botw 4 times already, one on wiiu, and three times on switch one of those was on master mode. Never gotten all the korok seeds, I find that task too tedious

I have the og switch, the blue lite and a white oled, only issue is the og joycons are broken, eevrything else is flawless

I’ve learned over the years that this fanbase is way too toxic, don’t put up with it, just enjoy the games and have fun!

I was shocked to find that mario rpg was never released as a virtual console offering on the 3ds but earthbound was, I don’t want to hook up my wiiu to play it 😅

2022 is THE nintendo switch year, move over 2017

I wasn’t sold on the expansion pack by the n64 games alone but the mario kart dlc really changed my mind on it. As soon as my current subscription ends I’ll renew it with the expansion

Bought this game on a whim when it was on sale last xmas, honestly I still haven’t gotten around to playing it.

Honestly VC has lost all of its appeal, the whole buy it and own it forever is meaningless when everybody is losing their minds over the eshop closing. So no you don’t own it and you never will unless nintendo makes more physical copies of its legacy games. For what its worth people bought vc on wii and again on wiiu and again on 3ds, people will not buy super mario bros for 5 dollars again on switch. Nso with all its fault is the best we’re gonna get for a while, only wish nintendo would drop content faster.

Just got a binbok pair exactly for this reason, they’re practically the same design plus motion controls

Nice! Yugioh is the one money waster Ive never regretted, its just so much fun! Hopefully konami will support this game for years instead of dropping it like all the other yugioh games

This is gonna be one of those evergreen titles that’ll just keep selling over the years, they should just keep discounting it every other month to grab peoples attention. The game is great, maybe its just not worth $60 for some people. As much of a fan I was of the original (I also got it on ios and later on switch) I just grabbed this game on a sale. For me it was just a little too late to get hyped for it, same for kingdom hearts 3, they just waited too long

Between this game, the mobile one, the arcade one and mk8dx still selling like crazy at full price its no wonder why nintendo hasn’t done mk9 or dlc for the main games. They don’t want franchise fatigue, they need to tread carefully

@Nintendo4Sonic not gonna lie, nostalgia is a big factor here. That is Im still gonna try and give my two cents. First coming off the n64 controller the gamecube one was like a godsend, second nintendo has a habit of making their games centered around the controller so every action assigned feels meticulously calculated which is why first party gamecube games just feel soooo right when playing with that controller (I mean theres a reason why people still play smash with it 3 gens later) and finally ergonomics. Yes its comfortable like you yourself said but its more than that, something about the way the controller just molds into your hands feels so good, to this day I think thats the only controller thats never given me hand cramps from long play sessions

Metroid other m would’ve fared better if nintendo didn’t forced the horrible sideways wiimote control scheme on developers. Heck the wii had access to gamecube controllers and no wii game ever made use of the best controller made by nintendo

Metroid prime trilogy on wiiu with mclassic is amazing

People are saying the game doesn’t support rumble with the n64 controller, which is weird since the game does have rumble natively because its the shindou version

Im about to fight the final boss and I can honestly say this is the only metroid game I’ve enjoyed playing. And yes i have played them all but never liked any of them. After im done with this game I want to give super metroid a second chance
