This is gonna be one of those evergreen titles that’ll just keep selling over the years, they should just keep discounting it every other month to grab peoples attention. The game is great, maybe its just not worth $60 for some people. As much of a fan I was of the original (I also got it on ios and later on switch) I just grabbed this game on a sale. For me it was just a little too late to get hyped for it, same for kingdom hearts 3, they just waited too long
Between this game, the mobile one, the arcade one and mk8dx still selling like crazy at full price its no wonder why nintendo hasn’t done mk9 or dlc for the main games. They don’t want franchise fatigue, they need to tread carefully
@Nintendo4Sonic not gonna lie, nostalgia is a big factor here. That is Im still gonna try and give my two cents. First coming off the n64 controller the gamecube one was like a godsend, second nintendo has a habit of making their games centered around the controller so every action assigned feels meticulously calculated which is why first party gamecube games just feel soooo right when playing with that controller (I mean theres a reason why people still play smash with it 3 gens later) and finally ergonomics. Yes its comfortable like you yourself said but its more than that, something about the way the controller just molds into your hands feels so good, to this day I think thats the only controller thats never given me hand cramps from long play sessions
Metroid other m would’ve fared better if nintendo didn’t forced the horrible sideways wiimote control scheme on developers. Heck the wii had access to gamecube controllers and no wii game ever made use of the best controller made by nintendo
Not knowing if platinum content is in these remakes is killing me, specially cause if it was it probably would’ve been revealed by now. Its gonna be disappointing when its confirmed it doesn’t have it
I just hope nintendo doesn’t do anything crazy next gen, literally just make a more powerful switch and update the os to have more modern features like party chat. Thats it
People are saying the game doesn’t support rumble with the n64 controller, which is weird since the game does have rumble natively because its the shindou version
Im about to fight the final boss and I can honestly say this is the only metroid game I’ve enjoyed playing. And yes i have played them all but never liked any of them. After im done with this game I want to give super metroid a second chance
I’ll get it when they put paper mario on it, afterwards I’ll probably won’t renew it since I’ve played n64 games to death. Pm64 just holds a very special place in my nostalgia filled heart
As someone who hates the metroidvania genre this game has absolutely turned me around on them. Yes its tough but never unfair, I still haven’t finished it but its making me want to go and play super metroid and finally give it a chance
I don’t understand, is the fog hard to emulate so they don’t do it or is it that nintendo thinks it makes the game look bad so they remove it on purpose?
@BrianJL mine had that problem too, its actually quite easy to fix. All you have to do is apply a lil bit of pressure to it, just enough to bend it a tiny bit. Its not a scary as it sounds and you can do it in like 2 seconds.
Has anybody been able to purchase the nes and snes controllers from Puerto Rico? I used to buy from the online store a lot back when the wii u was the current Nintendo gen but havent been able to purchase anything from there since the switch came out. Ive tried several different credit cards and none work, I also tried contacting a representative and they have no idea why I cant purchase anything from there either
The m classic works, Ive had one since the kickstarter. Its just something that cant be judged with low res pics on the internet or compressed youtube videos. Not only does it provide better colors to your display it gives your games anti aliasin something 1st party nintendo games almost always lack so it removes jaggies. Now is it worth $100? That depends, its not a miracle device, but it does what it advertises and does it well. Anyone who is interested I’d say wait for a black friday sale.
The covid updates really made the game accessible to a lot more people that dont live in big cities, shame they didn't listen to the community about this
@spectraleggings the $200 switch lite has the same exact specs as the brand new $350 switch oled so yeah, its a $200 dollar tablet. People act surprised and whine when games dont run as well on it as a gaming pc or a $600 ps5
God what is wrong with this comment section, "why cant a game remade for Pc and 600 dollar pc like consoles run as good on my 200 dollar tablet?" Ehh because it can't.
I really wish the would add more options for the controls, I love using motion for the sword and items but haaate using it for the loftwing. Also let us choose the L button function, let us switch between hold for camera or hold for sword
I dont know it its considered bad but for me its yoshis story, game had a weird design were you could only play 1 stage per world, gathering the fruit would sometimes cause to accidentally beat the level before I was done playing in it, and the bosses were meh. But god I love that game to death lol
