Honest question here. Why do people always seem to make a big deal if a game is being made with unreal engine? Isn't that like the most common one used by developers when making AAA games, why do they always announce it like its a game changer?

Why do people act as if they arent getting a gorgeous figuring for display and collection along with the stupid warp effect that you will use only once because its so cumbersome to bring out amiibos and scan them.

@VoidofLight the dangerous mindset is already there, nintendo is a company and they like money plus this is not the first time they've done this and it will not be the last. They did this before with botw with the travel medallion but lets face it that game has soo many shrine warps that its completely useless its the same with this feature in SS. Yeah its nice but is it convenient? No its not. If you want to punish nintendo for releasing this type of stuff then just purchase a 3party amiibo card instead. They get none of your money, you get the missing feature you wanted and it will be a cheaper buy. Im not defending nintendo but they do need to add somewhat useful features to their amiibo so people will justify spending on them. If all the amiibo did was something cosmetic the backlash would be worse

This is cute but Im done with amiibos for now, the farores wind like effect is not worth the asking price, played the original on wii and replayed on wiiu and honestly there is no point in the game where I would find this useful. Its really a niche QOL that nobody will miss so no need to get so riled up about it.

Whyyyyy!? Every single time nintendo updates the switch the speakers on mine stop working for whatever reason, they start working again randomly. Last time it took weeks for them to revive

It feels like nobody has been able to get a switch controller just right (not even nintendo). Theres always something missing.

I have a day one switch and im on the same boat, not because I've been careless with it cause my switch doesn't have any cracks on it but because ever since de 10.0 update my switch keeps losing sound when in handheld mode. I've been able to fix it by letting the switchs battery run out completely. Now after the 12.0 update I haven't been able to get the sound to work. So tldr nintendo ruined my switch and now im probably gonna have to get a lite since handheld is mostly how i play

Ever since the 10.0 update I've been having constant issues with the audio on my switch, the headphone jack stops working and the stereo speakers too. I've been able to fix it by letting the switchs battery completely die but this recent update messed it up again and that trick is not working anymore. 😕

@BJQ1972 in terms of quality? no. In terms of convenience and compatability?yes

@T0biasCZe it has 5.1 uncompressed linear pcm. Sadly pcm cant be transmitted through an Arc setup (which is what a lot of people use) and a lot of the most common and affordable surround sound systems dont even support pcm. This is why I want DD or DTS support added to the switch

I really want more surround sound options when playing docked. Cant believe gamecube and wii titles had dolby support but the switch doesn't

They should really give some support to link evolution, update the game so it doesn't crash every time theres a combo happening. Also new updated ban lists would be appreciated and dlc!

All this game needed was stuff that they took out of the first game. Bring back the flyswatter mini game, the weird powerups, bookmarks and the amiibo costumes!

Maybe they want to patch the switch version a bit more before they release the dlc.

I think this new model is just going to replace the current one instead of keeping both skus in the market. They'll probably start making a bunch of special editions with the current model to get rid of stock during the year and push the new model during the holidays.

I use my 2ds xl at work to play pokemon crystal and have my new 3ds xl at home exclusively for mario 3d land since that's the only game I cannot have without 3d

Im fine with my day 1 switch, all I want is folders, themes and other surround sound options beside pcm, dolby digital would be a godsend

I absolutely loved skyward sword on wii back when it released but it sure did have its share of problems. Hopefully they'll streamline it a bit like they did with wind waker and twilight princess. I am dying to get those joycons they look beautiful.
