I remember there was issue with a mario bros rom on the wii with people claiming it was just an internet downloaded one that nintendo sold back to people. That apparently was false but I remember nintendo giving me back 500 wii points for purchasing that mario bros game...

Got this on sale a while back, but pokemon still has its hooks on me.

This port has fixed literally every issue I had with the original game. Well worth the purchase and browsers fury is just a big ol cherry on top

Before the dlc this was my least favorite pkmn game. After the dlc this still isn't my favorite pkmn game, but damn when its good its great! I have well over 400 hrs on this gen and its all thanks to them making breeding and ev training so accesible. Hopefully they'll make more dlc.

I learned english as a second language thanks to video games. Pokemon red played a big part in keeping my attention.

I caved last weekend and got one. Got tired of waiting for a sale.

My day 1 switch has been giving me a lot of trouble ever since the last couple of updates. It keeps losing sound while in handheld mode and the headphone jack doesn't even work when it happens. I just know that as soon as I buy a replacement nintendo will announce a new better switch...

My guess is nintendo wont make a switch pro. They'll update the current model with probably a bigger screen (same resolution) and just advertise it as the switch but now with xl screens. Kinda like what happened after the switch got the new model with better battery life

@andykara2003 I didnt like it at first but I found out I wasn't using it properly. I had my switch outputting at 1080p and I had it hooked to my 4k tv. That was wrong. I now have my switch at 720p to allow the mclassic to actually do the upscale instead of the dock and I have it hooked to a 1080p monitor to avoid the stretching my 4k tv used to do. Switch games look crisp and run great.

With the mclassic I dont care about resolution in switch games anymore, it upscales them beautifully to 1080p with added AA

I wonder why they didn't offer this option in the first place?

So cat peach does a random power up but the other amiibos do random power ups plus 1 ups? Am i wrong or does the cat peach amiibo seems inferior

@chronicles that's way too expensive when the game already has amazing couch co op. Just get one copy and share the tv

3 - 5 hour campaign. There seems to be too much work put into it for it to be 30 minutes long

Knowing nintendo they'll probably just release the same switch but with a bigger screen that is still 720p, same 32gb memory but maybe they'll include a 32gb sd card so they can say they "doubled" it, a revised dock that can upscale to 4k and maybe revised joycons and pro controllers (hopefully they'll add analog triggers and headphone jacks to them)

I didnt know the game was called fury world in japan, I think bowsers fury world could've been a good name.

Only starters i dont like are gen 5.

I still don't understand why are people still whining about the lack of new games last year, I mean there is a pandemic happening. Everything had to be pushed back.

@Grumblevolcano they also changed the ending to tie it in with odyssey for some reason. Now that 3d world is on switch the original ending is perfect

So what about the captain toad levels. Are they back or were they removed? Personally I would've liked to see them replaced with 2d like stages like the 2d world mode in mario maker 2

I wonder if they're going to adapt the miiverse features or will they be removed completely, on that note what about stamps and the captain toad levels. Will it have touch screen support? We need answers nintendo!

I adore 3d land but without the use of the 3d effect it loses its magic.

Only game I didn't like was sticker star. Paper mario 64 is my favorite

@LeighDappa while wario is the protagonist the events of that game directly follows the ending
of the 2 one story wise. The gameplay also sticks close to the mario formula with the powerups unlike the future wario land games. Also the game is literally called wario land super mario land 3. So yeah its a trilogy by definition.

Base game SS suck but I have to admit the dlc at least for me was excellent. I've already put well over 200 hrs thanks to the dlc I never would've been so invested with just the main game alone.

Whoever thinks "nintendo is for kids" is an insult needs to sort their priorities. I mean seriously who cares? Video games have always been a children centric activity.

I remember people saying bad stuff about wiiu vc and honestly I never had an issue with it. Game looks perfectly fine to my eyes

@Chowdaire can you do me a favor? I noticed after the update the tv settings on my switch are available even in handheld mode. Im guessing my switch thinks its connected to the dock, can you check if those settings are available on your switch undocked as well?

Careful! This update ruined my switch, there is no volume now when in handheld mode even when connecting headphones. Volume only works in tv mode after the update

Almost bought the game and watch mario at best buy yesterday, had to really force myself to say no. Nintendo trinkets like these always make a hole in my wallet

@stevep yes, its so annoying to have to switch between pro controllers and joycons for no apparent reason. There is no reason why the game shouldn't handle using two pro controllers or 2 sets of joycons instead. I had to buy some joycon grips just for this game cause its so uncomfortable using them sideways for a while. They go for cheap so I fully recommend them

Wish the game was 1080p as it is it looks sorta blurry on my 4k tv. Got a 1080p gaming monitor from amazon hopefully switch games should look more crisp on it once it arrives

As someone who played hw on the wiiu and again on 3ds and got bored of the games, should i give this new one a chance?
