The wii version was ported to the 3ds and the 3ds version was ported to the wiiu which is the reason why the wiiu version didnt have motion controls like the wii and worse graphics.

Holding out on getting one for my niece hoping they'll release a peach version if not she loves luigi too

Idk i bought the first season pass and it didnt feel like I got my money's worth, I'll keep waiting for future fighter reveals before I bite again

@JimmySpades bold of you to assume that I "hate nintendo" just from my comment. I just called it like I saw it, a lazy effort. I expect better quality and hold nintendo to a higher standard than the other developer's because nintendo games are hella expensive. The games almost never go on sale and when they do its just a 30% discount at most.

What a lazy port, hope they patch it and add touch support as well.

@Collette huh when you do a quick google search it says its 60fps, saw videos saying it runs at 30 including the switch port.

@Collette the game ran at 60fps 720p on wiiu. The game was bumped to 1080p on switch with 60fps

As someone who plays mostly portable mode touchscreen support would be appreciated. It bothers me that so few games make use of it when its been a standard of nintendo consoles since forever. Pokemon is the worst offender of this, almost all the games had touchscreen support thanks to the ds line and now on the switch they just forgot about it, I want to pet my pkmn gamefreak!!!

Nintendo should've added a ethernet port to the dock and headphone jacks to the pro controller and joycon grip

@Paperboy that used to happen to me too, turns out I wasnt updating my joycons. Thats an additional manual update that you have to do on the settings. Hope that helps you out!

This was a big power move for them. They must have a lot of faith in their new console if they were willing to spend all that money.

I loved black and white when it came out, as a 1st gener I thought this was the shake up the formula needed after being burned out on the franchise. Now black and white 2 just bored me to death and I cannot understand why. Never finished the sequels

As someone who doesnt own and has no plans of getting a gaming pc in the near future I am more than happy with this collection. Could they have done more? Definitely! Of course! 100%! But lets judge this for what it is instead of what it isn't. What it is is a collection of 3 of the best platformers ever, one that never saw a release outside of japan, one that was stuck on a decades old system with resell prices more expensive than this entire collection and one that deserved to be hd from the beginning because that game is a masterpiece. So please stop whining that a 2000 dollar pc can emulate games better than a 300 dollar tablet, we know.

People have a lot of theories about why mario galaxy 2 wasn't included in this collection but knowing nintendo its probably a stupid reason like they have 3 games and its called 3d allstars lmao

Played me3 on wiiu and loved it, so getting to play the first two would be awesome on switch.

People wouldn't be so harsh to this collection if it didnt had that $60 price tag on it. That said Im so happy to be able to play sunshine again after so many years

Im gonna b honest after my first playthrough I thought the game was just meh but to be fair I was pretty burned out on pkmn after playing non stop on the 3ds and I gave usum a lot of my time. Revisiting the game lately and exploring the dlc and I've had a lot more fun this time around so im excited for the second part of the dlc

If nintendo is too lazy to make more themes then just give us the option to set a screen capture from a game as a theme and everyone can just make their own

Its stupid, nintendo games are for most of the time evergreen titles that keep on selling throughout the systems lifespan even without any advertising. Maybe they'll sell them separately after march ends who knows. I could see them asking $10 for 64 $20 for sunshine and $30 for galaxy

I'll whine about mm2 not having amiibo costumes until I bend nintendo to my will with my persistence.

My backlog is just ridiculous at this point, this can wait.

Why a limited release when they can just make this a nintendo online exclusive giving more value to the poor service?

As soon as I saw that it was sold out on amazon after 10 minutes of the game being available I just gave up and pre ordered a digital copy on the eshop. With the covid 19 pandemic I aint going to a walmart and risk my health for a physical copy

This is nice but should've been bundled with a better game thats suited for the pro controller like splatoon 2 or zelda

they know galaxy 2 is the best game out of that collection, they'll remaster it separately and put a 60 dollar price tag on it

this was literally one of the few problem i had with this game on wiiu, compared to mario 3d land this one always felt so sluggish to play im glad they addressed that for this port.

My only problem with this collection is the price tag and that the digital version will also be available for a limited time. That is just anti consumer.

Nintendo is the most frustrating company there is. Why limit the games? Why are they so anti consumer? Limited physical I'd understand but digital too? And the mario 35 battle royal is also limited, wtf?

@Yhdekskymmenen now that you bring that up I do wish the confetti was involved in the battles in some way like the paint was in color splash. After you fix all the broken holes in the game its just pointless.

While i dont miss the exp i do wish the game had a boss rush mode to add some repayability to it, also mario is way too slow. Why do they have a coffee item that speeds you up for like 5 seconds? That could've been an accesorie

Just finished the game today and loved it. Gonna work on 100% it since theres a secret ending and i wanna see it.

For me color splash was sticker star done right! I would pick up a port on switch on day one. As for origami king I've been having a blast with that game im at the end now getting ready for the final boss. An hd remaster of the first 3 paper marios on switch would be a dream!

Well shiet, Me and my brother were gonna get this and play together but since hes been stationed in south korea I dont know if a vpn is enough to bypass this
