Also, yes Waluigi, but no, there is misinformation in there. Part of what drew me into Mario Party to begin with was the "Single player campaign" in the very first game. Mini game island. Sadly, said campaigns were dropped after 7.

Interestingly, two of these three are significant to me.
MK64 was my introduction to console gaming.
And Super Circuit was my first sense of pride in finding a shortcut that even an official guide did not seem to know.
Super Mario Kart however, I have yet to complete.

Honestly, the OG was perfect, the DS version added stuff that could be refined, but was still nigh upon perfect...
A rerelease would genuinely be okay. If they wanted a remake, they coulda hired the ppl who tried making Chrono Resurrection, but they didn't.
At this point, I'm more curious, is there anything beyond Cross?

Honestly, OG Switch has its niche, but so many features were a downgrade from Wii U.
Also, a proposition for NL's own "Better Eshop", perhaps a filter by publisher/developer?

Very late reply, but seeing as the one I'm playing most recently is the HD remake, and the stage I'm stuck on is 10-5...
Uh. How do I put this? The idea of boss fights in Monkey Ball...is a disaster imo.

On another couple notes, I did start with 2, loved it in spite of blatantly unfair stage design. (Someone get ProtonJon/Claire to try Switch Inferno with no help at all. They'll rage so hard.)
Rumble's multiplayer is hated, but I did notice the minigames were picked specifically to be ones that're all action with no turn taking. That's probably the reason. And I've not the faintest idea why Monkey Target is a fan fave.

Wow. The JP cover looks awful.

Also, thinking back, I loved both this, and Blue Storm way back when.
Shame Blue Storm wrecks the data on my big memory card.

I'm finding it frustrating that these articles keep referencing the tariffs, when Nintendo themselves officially stated they had priced their games without regard to said tariffs.

Welp, roughly a day into the new update, I've already found a Nintendo-breaking loophole.

Of the games I've purchased off the eshop, there was one I successfully got refunded. And it's sitting there waiting to be redownloaded. Clearly, these companies all suck at DRM.
Gonna call them when I get up. No way it's anything other than an oversight. After all, Super Mario 35 ain't on the list, but I have it downloaded.

Tbh, I'll probably just cope with the DK redesign.
I rather liked the Rareware one more, but I can admit this one is more expressive. I do wonder if Rare's design could do that too.

Am impression I got based on how they progressed. Naturally, Wii U lost support. Online was shut down.
The games that were popular, and not something like Smash, where each game is unique, made the jump as Deluxe editions for full price. Absolutely nothing to tide over loyal customers who'd be buying everything again, where they had previously had campaigns for things like that. (3ds Ambassador program)
The big deal additions Wii U had were explicitly gone. Voice chat went from built in, to a convoluted mess of cables system and smartphone. Video chat was nowhere. Adding friends by username was actually reverted to friend codes.
To me, it was a major sleight. One they seem to be repeating an aspect of here with "Switch 2 Edition" games.

I've yet to play a Sonic Racing game outside Sonic Rivals 1.
This does look interesting though.

Looking at the list, the obvious choices are there. Mario Kart, Party, RPG, Metroid, Fire Emblem, Pokemon... The list of existing franchises goes on.

Personally, I want to reach outside the box.

As someone said prior, Golden Sun. F-Zero would be a neat return, but it really should start to use elements from Captain Falcon's career as a bounty hunter. There's your spark Nintendo!
Starfox would be welcome too.

Although I'd still get it, I'm not a fan of the direction Zelda is going in. While to the contrary, following Legends Arceus, Pokemon has started to improve again.

Unfortunately, in legal terms, they do own the music afaik.

Kinda a stupid reason, but Nintendo is indeed quite prideful.
I still remember feeling the outright spite from them when they transitioned to OG switch, after Wii U failed them.

Imo, Isle Delfino, with a cruise ship opening area would be good.
As would a Bowser's Castle scenario.
Space would be great as well, but I'm unsure how that would work, considering it would be the space of Mario's world.
Village is also enticing.

Ultimately, Luigi's Mansion, for me, was at its best with atmospheric isolation and a sense of dread. The first entry nailed it far better than either successor, though 3 came close with some floors.
So I don't want it too cheesy. But cheese itself can still play a role.
But I've my doubts Nintendo would do something so wonderful again.

As much as I like the colorful art, the Eastern art just fits better.

I enjoy it a decent bit. I watched Inuyasha, greatly enjoying it. Then Touhou, and eventually became obsessed with kitsune.
Seeing there being a fox person playable, and a mention of folklore is almost enough to make me go get it on the spot. Alas, not enough funds for everything.

If you count handhelds, I'm also missing OG Gameboy, GBC which I gave to my bro, and is no longer functional, OG DS, cause I went with DS Lite, GB Micro, and varying variants.
I did almost get a VB at $19 years ago though! Unfortunately, I thought I was being told it was $70 something and declined.

Ehh. I saved up for like, multiple years for this one. But had to ask family to cover tax.
Even the employees at my local gamestop have told me never to do trade-ins there. You never get good value.

That aspect is good, yes. But the premise is essentially just Sony/Microsoft physical.
You get your disc from the store, put it in, and the console spends lord only knows how long installing the game from disc, then downloading every bit of the data from the console's online store. For me, it can take days to download.
It's scummy practice that Nintendo just decided to open up to devs on their end as well.

I'm only just recently playing the OG Bravely Default release here, and don't feel like purchasing a key card.
Nice to know the new features are limited to exclusions, and two minigames.

Huh. Nice to have a list of releases to avoid, or at least go digital only on.
Though, "digital only" gives me alarm bells as it is. That, in and of itself, may be the only reason to support this insanity.

Welp, it's riding the switch 1 hype. Time to see how long that lasts.

Having said that, I REALLY like the mechanics shown here, even if some of the game models are blatantly ripped from Hyrule Warriors.

Honestly, there are far too many musts here to simply pick three.
So I went with the two obvious multiplayer games, (Melee cause of the degree to which it is excellent, and Four Sword Adventures, cause really, who had four GBAs with link cables to match?) and Kirby Air Ride cause it's getting a sequel.
Otherwise, there are so, soooo many I'd pick. The classy, the classics, and the too expensive, with honorable mentions to the few online games the console had.

Ah yes. The Shield Hero.
Btw, note to editor from person raised by grammar fixator, i generally comes before e, not the other way around, with some weird exceptions.

I still remember the one time playing Double Dash when managed to do a mini-boost away from something.
I THINK it was a blue shell, but only cause I vaguely recall doing it to red shells too.

Honestly, an F-Zero Adventures would be amazing.
Captain Falcon is a bounty hunter canonically, and we rarely, if ever, get to see that.

Honestly, don't fret about that.
I actually did beat story mode, and some low level GP stuff. And I'm still not quite on the level of doing very hard story, or master mode. And I need to do some of that to play the AX courses.

I'll admit, I took my sweet time looking at the percentage of what others got right.

Multiple choice made this too easy. Stuff like the Z2 question, and specific names and titles woulda stumped me otherwise, as it's been too long.

Yup. It's too much. I was already bothered by $70 price points.
Worth giving a slightly amused chuckle at Bravely Default sitting among giants, as a giant itself sitting at $50 though.

Also, @inflation, yeah. Inflation wouldn't be so much of a thing if we didn't have ppl up top giving us debt all the time.
Honestly, I'm impressed that game prices stayed between $50-$70 for some 35 years as it is!
