One thing I'm still left wondering about, which would help me greatly, is if I can reselect the difficulty when using NG+.
Or if I can carry over affinity tokens, or whatever they were called.
Because those tokens are why I dropped the game for a time,

I would argue that BotW is a sort of re-imagining of Zelda 1 in spirit.
It's a different story, but the design of being able to find something just about anywhere, as well as free roaming exploration, is as true to the roots as it has gotten thus far. Now we just need an underworld to go with that overworld, and we're set.

Now that I've seen this article, I hope Code Lyoko gets a comeback too.
I gather Buffy the Vampire Slayer might return in some capacity too?

Oh, absolutely Emperor Ing! I actually ran out of ammo a couple times.
I also sometimes suffered against Quadraxis, and I forget the boss of the bog.

I never actually had trouble with Spider Guardian on either version.
Only Boost Guardian.
But the bosses in general were harder in MP2.

I never got hit by any LoZ softlocks, but I'm definitely afraid of them.
It's amazing.

I still carry my 3ds with me everywhere, hoping for some.
But mostly, I just get steps for the step counter.
I never had much luck with streetpass outside comicon and other events. Kinda goes with living in the middle of nowhere.

Only two games I don't have the plot mostly remembered for are Hunters, (Idk if First Hunt counts), and Federation Force, which I haven't played.

Yeah, Nintendo had it right closer to the start. While I can understand them wanting different styles to keep the series from getting stale, limitations like what they have shouldn't be for the rest of the series.
