Nintendo would not have done this under Iwata/Reggie. Not any of this bs we've seen since switch 1 came out.

At bare minimum, there would have been measures taken to lighten the load on the consumer.

It's weird seeing how awful some of the games on the list are.

Same time though, it's worth recognizing that the VB is an unfinished console. The N64 took the spotlight, and if not for that, we'd have seen a much different story.

Much as I like N64, I'd never wish for VB to have taken its place. But coexistence? That'd have been amazing...

What if they'd tried seeing if they could have a switch 1 build too?

Feels like some of the great early games were partially a product of creative ways to get around limitations. So I'd be curious how anything they developed going forward would be improved if they had done a switch 1 build as well.

Yup. That's a massive concern for me.
I'm no longer even sure of which of my games are used or not!

I was on the phone with them expressing my concerns over an ebay purchase that turned out to be okay, but there are still tons of other games!

I understand why they need to take action, but THIS kind of action does far more harm than good.

So, my concerns about a "non-officially manufactured" Switch cart (ala Limited Run or the like), were at least partially true?

I got sent a video about this a bit ago.

As someone who finds it necessary to shop for bargains as much as I can, this is a massive blow.

I tend to use handheld these days. Even right up by my router, it notices nothing some 90% of the time.

Switch 1 meanwhile, normally does great, but if I power off and on again for any reason, even a mandatory update, the system will be incapable of seeing the internet again until the router is reset.

I need to look at Deku Deals more..

I actually only just looked to see what was on offer from the vouchers, initially intending to get Legends Z-A, and Prime 4, but, Prime 4 is not listed...and the vast majority of the other games are either ones I have, ones I don't care about, or are priced such that it would not be worth it.

Tbh, am still waiting for this to go on sale.
...and for my switch 2 to consistently recognize my household's internet.
