I'm not sure if I will buy this game, but if I do I will buy it on Switch. I'm really a big Switch fan so I want to consider it my primary gaming device and I'm going to do everything I can to support it (except buying games that I'm sure I will never like at all just because they are available on it, of course)
@gatorboi352 I'm fine with my Switch, and it looks like many other people like Switch as much as I do. You don't? The problem is yours and since many people are responding positively to the Switch, it's up to you to deal with it.
@dimi there is a good reason (ok not only one, many good reason) why I immediately bought a Switch and I'm a Nintendo fan while I never had an iPhone and I hate Apple. I also hate online gaming and online features in games, just to make it clear. I despise piracy but please don't bother me with "solutions" of this type, I would just give up on gaming if Nintendo did such a thing
I don't like Kingdom hearts but I like the DIsney fanservice in it. I'm expecting Kingdom hearts 3 to be a lot about Square, Final Fantasy and "KH-native" stuff, and I would not be interested in this case. If I am wrong and there is a lot of Disney fanservice with very little focus on everytrhing else maybe I could pick it. I had fun with Kingdom hearts 2 and I'd probably buy it on Switch if I could even though I don't think it is a good game. Guilty pleasure I guess.
I had this game but did not like it that much. I didn't like its gameplay and I have to say I didn't like the concept itself. It would have been nice a "comical dark" Mickey Mouse game, something similar to Luigi's Mansion, but they went way to far with darkness and gloomy and all the waste scattered around with this one, it was just too much imho. The best Epic Mickey game was in my opinion the handheld one but it was still inferior to other Mickey Mouse games for me, I prefer the original Castle of illusion and the Castle of illusion 3D remake which is very good on pc, but unfortunately seems rather poor on consoles because of very serious framerate issues
How appropriate, I have no interest in Lorne Lanning nor in his boring and depressing games. Stop crying about third parties not earning money on Nintendo console and start trying to think how you could possibly made a game as good as Nintendo games are, then you'll begin to see your profits rise maybe
There's no point in having a Game Over screen in a game where you can farm lives as often as you want. I died so many times in Donkey Kong country returns and never saw the Game Over screen because after each stage completed I got back to some of the previous stages I liked the most and played them to relax and to regain all my lives. Game Over is completely pointless in modern platformers and it is simply clever to leave it out from a game of this kind
"In the past two decades Sonic games have been trying to target a broader audience from kids to adults. And Forces has that same idea, so that means a wider range of characters that we know children like. Even if other fans may not be quite as keen."
Translation:"for two decades we have been desperately trying to make a Sonic game both for people who can appreciate it and for everybody else too! IDK I'm not sure creating a game specifically for people who probably will like that game is a good idea. What do you think, it can be any good? Help me I'm not even aware of where I am, please..."
Sonic Generations has all those issues, it is just a lot better than most of the other 3D Sonic games and is a lot more polished. And it is a big source for fan service, so in the end it is a pleasant experience for a Sonic fan, but it is not a very good game and it does not approach the speed element in the same playful and deep way old games did, it is mostly a speedfest itself. But I have the feeling that Sonic Forces will not be as good for the fan service material
The games of this year for me will absolutely be Mario Odyssey, Skyrim and Sonic Mania. Sonic Mania is not a retail game but for me will be much better and more important than many of these. Other than that, if reviews are favorable and I will see interesting gameplay videos I'll probably buy Sonic forces, if not I could buy Rayman legends which is a masterpiece visually but a little boring in terms of gameplay. I'm interested in Splatoon 2 too but I play only in single and I'm afraid it could be not satisfying enough this way.
It is worse tha Capcom originals, because it becomes that stupidly difficult only later, after more stages, so it is a lot harder to just give up and forget about it. It is xtremely good, but I've never beren able to finish it (there are continues but I don't want to use them). It becomes dstupidly difficult only after you are already in love with it and that's so cruel. I don't know if I'll buy it on the 3DS, probably yes, I would buy it for sure on the Switch. There is a free version on Pc, I have it and I never bought the Steam version only because it is too difficult
The publishers should probably delay the release until... forever? Yes forever sounds ok. It looks worse than garbage, I think it is almost insulting that a game like this gets to the eShop
I just want the Virtual console as it was on Wii, simple and plain. I don't like every game in Snes classic mini, there are games that I like and are not on it, I just want to be able to buy the retrogames (both Sega and Nintendo ones) that I like as I did on Wii. Really I don't think it can be that hard it's exactly the same thing they already did on Wii, on Wii U, on 3DS...
I'm not excited at all. Now I know that Virtual console on Switch will be delayed on purpose to help SNes mini sales, and I'd rather have Virtual console for my Switch. Also I think the games included are too few. It should at least have had games lile Final fight 2, King of Dragons and Demon's crest. Since you will not be able to buy new games for it but game pad will be available to buy separately it would have been better to sell this toy with more built in games and only one controller.
Sonic 1 is in my opinion the best Sonic game ever made. The only thing that could be better in that game is a game save feature that let you play again all the levels you've already completed like in many other platformers since Super Mario World.
I really love Sonic 1 and I have some personal reasons to feel attached to Sonic too since I played his games a lot during a particular period of my life. I hope Sonic Mania will be even better than Sonic 1, I need a new favourite Sonic game after 26 years!!! But Sonic 1 will always be a great game
"Are you planning to pick this up on Switch?" Definitely yes, I can't wait. I have always wanted a game of this genre on a Nintendo console. I already played more than 400 hours on Steam and I have not even started the main quest. In fact, I will never do, I already tried it and I'm not interested in it, the best thing about those games is that I can play them the way I want and decide what are the objectives I care about.
I'd like to play this. The only thing stopping me from buying it is that for now the eShop has not been updated yet. I wonder what are they waiting for :/
I have always bought at least Sonic 1 and Golden axe 1 anywhere they have been released, on Wii I also bought more games like Altered beast and Ristar. I would really love to buy Sonic 1 and Golden axe 1 (expecially if it's the arcade version, the best looking one and easier than console version too!!)
I would buy them on my Switch I mean, I won't download any game on my smarthpone, not even for free, by any means. Playing games using touch screen buttons is the worst deal breaker ever for me.
I'm not impressed by it, so I ask why this thing even exist? I mean I was sure everything in the universe was made just to surprise me, am I wrong? Really?? O_O
This looks better than the average Dragon Ball Z 3D fighting (umh... fighting? shooting? idk...) game I was used to... but honestly as one could guess from my nickname if I had to buy a videogame based on a manga I'd prefer something related to JoJo's Bizarre adventures. I hope Sony won't pay any longer to keep it exclusive and that I will see a JoJo game on Switch one day. Manga and anime are far better than its games though but it would be fun to have it
I can't wait to play this game. The thing I like the most in this article is is how it says "Sonic 1-3, Knucles" without explicitly mentioning Sonic 2 lol. I absolutely love Sonic 1, I like Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic CD, but I really dislike Sonic 2. I take it as a good omen lol
It would be a good year for any console, but considering that this is just the very first year for the Switch one can say this is great. Best first year of a console in a very long time imho
I have big hands and in my opinion the only problem with the joy cons for my hands is that they are too thin and too flat and I struggle to hold them because of that. I use a pro controller but a simple plastic shell to put them in that makes them bigger and with ergonomic curves for the fingers to hold would be a much better solution and it would leave them perfectly intact too. Ruining them just to change the analog stick placement is nonsense imho
the most powerful home console, until eventually something more powerful will come. The only thing that matters are the games and for my taste Microsoft never did anything appealing to me. People who like their games will enjoy it. People who buy it because it is "the most powerful home console" will be disappointed after some time.
I would be perfectly fine with the "drip-feed of games" I was used to on the Wii, Right now we would already have at least Super Mario Bros 1, but probably alreadsy more games than just that, while now we are still waiting for something we were used to have on the previuos systems. I love my Switch but I really think that they are pulling the rip cord when it comes to the Virtual console. I just hope that these games will be available for purchase and not just an exclusive for people who pay their subscription since I'm not interested in onlyne play and I'm not interested in renting (sort of) a game that I'd like to buy instead.
I have it on pc. I don't think it is a good game, I think it is quite poorly thought out and designed honestly, but maybe I will buy it on Switch too because this #@]# little game knows how to give you that itch tha only that very same game can scratch, you probably understand what I mean lol. Lego city undercover is immensely better as a game but it is absolutely not nearly as addictive as this one.
@ThanosReXXX oh I'd like so much to be able to wait and be patient like you say... The games I'm more anxious to get right now are Sonic Mania, Mario Odissey and Skyrim and I think about them every single second of my life and it is like a torture really D: I already have Skyrim on PC but I still am very anxious to finally have an Elder Scroll on a Nintendo console... And a portable one too!!
I have DrMario Amiibo, I actually will be able to play as Dr Mario in this game?? I'm super excited about that! I'm not going to buy wedding figures I just don't like wedding but Koopa looks nice, I could buy it sooner or later.
I think that this mechanic fits a lot better in a Mario game rather than in a Zelda game, I think it will feel like it was always made for this game! I can't wait to play it! Mario Odissey, Sonic Mania and Skyrim are the games I'm more hyped about right now!
@Ensemen I never played MH and don't care about it but I don't think it is right that a company is allowed to pay another company to bias another one. I mean this game will be on PS4, on XBox and on PC but not on Switch because Sony does not want it on Switch and paid for that? Buying an exclusive is a completely different thing, if Sony paid to have a MH game exclusive for their console it would have been ok for me but paying to directly damage only one competitor instead of focusing just on their own console seems a lot less fair, honest and acceptable imho
I'm so excited! And I hope this will lead to a remake of Oblivion on Switch too. Having Skyrim is already a great thing, but having an Oblivion remake would turn Switch into a real paradise!
I can't wait to have this on my Switch. It is not even nearly as good as Oblivion (graphics aside) but it is still extremely addictive, it literally can make me play with my Switch forever. The Link amiibo thing is not that useful however, using common green clothes you already can look similari to Link enough imho. Common clothes does not have armor benefits though but still make the amiibo supporto less impressive imho.
I don't know anything about Gear.Club but I am very excited about a normal, real looking racing for the Switch (don't get me wrong, I love Mario Kart too!!). I just hope it has a good single player mode and does not forces you to be online to play (since it comes from smart devices where it is rather common unfortunately). This would be a deal breaker for me. And I really want to enjoy this game! A friend of mine would be very pleased about Syberia 1 & 2 but he does not have Switch...
I don't feel the need for PS4 right now, but I think I will buy it sooner or later at least to try Bloodborne, Eyes of heaven and the new God of war. I think that Switch can absolutely be a satisfying console even alone on its own, and if I will buy a PS4 it will be more like an extra for me rather than something I really need, but aside from that I think what he said is true. I don't think that Switch is a direct rival toPS4 and Xbox One because of the differences in the exclusives and in many of the most important games. It all depends on your taste because they are too different to compete directly. And I think that owining a Sony and a Nintendo console is a great combination if you want different kind of games. Back in the Gamecube and Wii days I also had a PS2 and I really loved all of them. I bought a PS3 too but that one was really disappointing for me. I liked PS2 and PS1 so much more and that's why I don't have high expectations about PS4 (this and the fact that I already know many of its games are just not for my taste :/ )
I would like a porting of Smash bros from WiiU, it would be even better a porting of smash bros with all the content from both WiiU and 3DS, but for me to have a new Smash bros exclusive for the Switch is even more important so the best would be if they make a porting of the previous game soon and release a new Smash bros exclusive for the Switch later, let's say after like two years maybe, that would be perfect imo. I did not expect a new Smash bros game so soon, but if it is going to be a porting of the WiiU game it would be more likely to happen
Street fighter 2 is a fantastic game, imho it is much better than Street fighter 4 or Marvel VS Capcom or many other more recent fighting games, I will immediately buy it tomorrow, I am very happy to have it on Switch. Aside from that, I really hope Capcom will port Dragon's Dogma on Switch. I have it on Steam and despite some flaws it is a very fun and intriguing game. I don't even follow the story I just like to wander around fighting monsters and making my character more and more powerful. It would be fantastic to have it on Switch!!!
To be honest, I never liked the DS that much. I never felt the need of a second screen, in my opinion all the features of this console are rather weird and useless. Of course it has a lot of interesting and fun games but the console itself was nothing special for me. I don't even like touch screen controls. The best handheld ever made imho is the original Gameboy / Gameboy color. Even Game Boy advance was slightly disappointing compared to the original Gameby in my opinion. DS and 3DS have great games but they would have been even better devices with better "plain and simple" graphics capabilities instead of things like double screen and 3D effect for me.
@EternalDragonX yeah right, I mean, I've always called myself lazy because I like to play videogames instead of doing other things.. actually playing for real I mean. Lol
In my opinion an option that makes a game playing itself is not inclusive at all. It is playing in your place, there is no point in options like this one imho. I think an easier game for less skilled player is better than this. I have nothing against such an option, I always play Mario Kart offline and usually in single player mode, I just won't use it and I will enjoy the game as I always have in the past, it's just that I don't understand it when you can just make different games properly playable for people with zero skills or experience. I think Snipperclips is exceptional in this regard: I had a lot of fun playing it in single player mode, then I tried it with a friend of mine who was not able to play any other console game I showed him before (he's older than me he is not used to this kind of things) and he was as good as me with Snipperclips
@Jessica286 I'm not sure this feature will be as effective and useful on harder difficulties as it is on 50cc cup. To tell the truth I think it shouldn't
Item collection can save a game that you like to play but don't like it's quests/storylines though. I play Skyrim that way, I grind, I build a home in Falkreath and sometimes I buy homes in Solitude and Riften, and I don't even trigger dragons encounters. Collections are not that bad. Ok, the fact that Skyrim sidequests are such disappointing compared to Oblivion sidequests is bad itself, that's true.
More games and Virtual console is something everybody would want but I am sure that we will get it soon, so for me there are only two things I really want to see: the possibility to view (and keep in the internal memory and/or in the SD card) common photos, and an improvement that prevent the console from heating so much when docked because this console becomes really really hot, and not in the good sense of the word, when connected to the tv...
I never tried Splatoon but I'm not interested, it's not my kind of game. I can't wait to play Mario Kart 8 and I think that I will buy Snake Pass to fill the gap instead of playing Splatoon 2
After Super Mario Galaxy Nintendo made Super Mario 3D land and Super Mario 3D world, so they could do the same with Zelda. I wouldn't be surprised to see a more traditional Zelda game in the future
I would like an updated version of Might & Magic X with many more character portraits to choose from. Other than that I'm not interested in any Ubisoft game, Rayman legends is wonderful visually but is rather shallow and uninspired gameplay wise. It's a good game overall but Nintendo does it better.

I'm so excited! And I hope this will lead to a remake of Oblivion on Switch too. Having Skyrim is already a great thing, but having an Oblivion remake would turn Switch into a real paradise!
Re: New Trailer for Skyrim on Switch Showcases Motion Controls and Link amiibo Support
Re: Microïds Confirms Six Games for the Nintendo Switch
I don't know anything about Gear.Club but I am very excited about a normal, real looking racing for the Switch (don't get me wrong, I love Mario Kart too!!). I just hope it has a good single player mode and does not forces you to be online to play (since it comes from smart devices where it is rather common unfortunately). This would be a deal breaker for me. And I really want to enjoy this game!
A friend of mine would be very pleased about Syberia 1 & 2 but he does not have Switch...
Re: Sony Thinks You'll Buy A PlayStation 4 Alongside Your Nintendo Switch
Re: E3 is Coming, Which Means Anonymous Super Smash Bros. Switch 'Screenshots'
Re: Steam Trailer Gives 15th August Release Date for Sonic Mania
Am I the only one who think "this is BAD, I want this game NOW!!!!!"?
Re: Capcom's Future Output For Switch Depends On Ultra Street Fighter II Sales, States COO
Re: Poll: Who Would You Like To See In Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo Switch?
Simon Belmont would be great. Mr Resetti could be a fun and interesting choice too.
Re: Retrospective: The Awkward Birth of the DS, Nintendo's Most Successful System
Re: Guide: How to Get Infinite Coins in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe the Easy Way
@EternalDragonX yeah right, I mean, I've always called myself lazy because I like to play videogames instead of doing other things.. actually playing for real I mean. Lol
Re: Weirdness: You Can Play and Win in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Without Touching the Controller
Re: Weirdness: You Can Play and Win in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Without Touching the Controller
@Jessica286 I'm not sure this feature will be as effective and useful on harder difficulties as it is on 50cc cup. To tell the truth I think it shouldn't
Re: Here's What You Get For Collecting All 900 Korok Seeds In Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
Re: Feature: One Month of Nintendo Switch - Five Improvements We Want to See
More games and Virtual console is something everybody would want but I am sure that we will get it soon, so for me there are only two things I really want to see: the possibility to view (and keep in the internal memory and/or in the SD card) common photos, and an improvement that prevent the console from heating so much when docked because this console becomes really really hot, and not in the good sense of the word, when connected to the tv...
Re: Poll: Is the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire Boosting Your Nintendo Switch Hype?
I never tried Splatoon but I'm not interested, it's not my kind of game.
I can't wait to play Mario Kart 8 and I think that I will buy Snake Pass to fill the gap instead of playing Splatoon 2
Re: Editorial: After The Bold Brilliance Of Breath Of The Wild, Where Can Zelda Go Next?
After Super Mario Galaxy Nintendo made Super Mario 3D land and Super Mario 3D world, so they could do the same with Zelda. I wouldn't be surprised to see a more traditional Zelda game in the future
Re: Ubisoft Wants Your Input On Future Nintendo Switch Software Support
I would like an updated version of Might & Magic X with many more character portraits to choose from.
Other than that I'm not interested in any Ubisoft game, Rayman legends is wonderful visually but is rather shallow and uninspired gameplay wise. It's a good game overall but Nintendo does it better.
