Pachter getting over optimistic here. Especially about Nintendo, it's scary. And Scorpio does not look anywhere close to being a modest upgrade to me, considering the GPU upgrade.
I wanna rip the wings and legs off that fairy one, dredge it in a flour mixture of 17 herbs and spices, and deep fry it.
Also, Zygarde is Zorro now?
Anyway, I like the electric bug. I think it's the only one I like out of all of these. I'll use the dragon as I always use dragons, but it looks like it has some kind of addiction and is in immediate need of an intervention.
A Linux version needs to be made, as the Pandora, Pyra, and PocketCHIP crowd would likely adore something like this. Well...after Pyra and PocketCHIP gets their GPU drivers completed that is.
Well, I say that this game is a REQUIRED purchase for all Wii U owners, so they should make that amount of sales easily. If you own a Wii U, you should be REQUIRED to buy this game, or else why would you have bought a Wii U in the first place? Yes I know everyone will argue that it was for the other games or the promise of more games (I, a launch owner, bought it on a promise that Nintendo couldn't keep), but I don't care, you're all required to buy this game. If you don't have the money, sell a kidney, or your hair, or your finger nails, or your soul, or even your first born child; I don't care, just buy this game. The many, many hardships that Nintendo's awkwardly named child has gone through, and her very few, miniscule triumphs, have culminated in this game's release next year. And it'll be beautiful.
@Anti-Matter Except you can get creative games on MS and Sony consoles. You can also get kid friendly games on those consoles, too. The only difference is that those games are lacking the branding of 'Nintendo'.
Ugh its another Wii U.
Even if it makes the sales of the Wii, gamers and publishers will be wary of investing in it because even with 100 million NXes sold, that won't matter at all if only 100,000 people buys your game. Nintendo needs to stop chasing after the fairy tale known as the Wii and give us the true successor to the SNES. That way, there's still a chance of them having financial success plus they'll win back the trust of their gamers, who will then buy the NX, giving third parties an actual AUDIENCE for their games which will then be helpful for Nintendo as third party games will also help draw even more people to their NX, which means more people buying NX and Nintendo's 1st party games as well.
But nope, we're getting Wii 3. I predict that it'll be named WiiP, as "Wii U" rhymes with 'Wii 2'. You can read "WiiP" as 'Wii Pee' or 'Weep'.
Oh god it still exists?
I wouldn't have minded a spin-off co op shooter about the troopers. In fact it was something I really desired after playing Corruption (took me a while to remember though). However that visual style, extremely poor overall graphics that make me and many others debate about whether this looks worse than Hunters, and the casual use of random-ass mechs that have almost nothing to do with Metroid just puts me off entirely.
This may seem extreme, especially since they're just fictional characters in a fictional world, but the existence of this game is an insult to the brave, hardworking Federation Marines who we've seen faithfully performing their duties in the Metroid Prime series.
Nintendo, just eShop the damned demo already. We Wii U owners, especially those of us who bought at launch due to the promise of huge game support that you completely failed at fulfilling, deserve this much. We bought your always-dying console, so please let us all get a taste of the game that will make her death a memorable one.
From what I've seen on YouTube, it looks faster than 30 FPS, about 40 FPS in some parts. The frame drops are indeed extremely noticeable though. They still got about 8-ish months before the game releases so I assume that means they have about 7-8 months to fix those framerate issues.
This game is looking faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better than Xenoblade X in the visual, audio, and gameplay departments, so that either means the Monolith group have finally learned a thing or two about game development from Aonuma's group or they're just doing programming work with no say in design.
I don't get it. I like Zelda, but the game has nothing interesting going for it that sets it apart from the many other similar games that were shown. But I guess since it's Zelda of course it'll generate more buzz.
@Xaessya Ah the good old End of Generation Nintendo drought. Nothing is more certain in a Nintendo console's life cycle than a drought at the last couple years.
It was alright. Nothing unique or exemplary, but it looks like a good game. Nintendo's E3 was rather poor if we're talking overall when compared to their competitors, but Zelda looks good. But again, they had NOTHING that really stood out against everything else.
Whoa, the PS4 version of a game beating the Vita version for once. Still hope Vita version makes it over. A handheld open world ARPG that isn't SAO would be absolutely lovely.
Sadly I feel this is just to have enough stations to show Zelda and also extra space for 3rd parties to show off their 3DS games. Nintendo doesn't "surprise" anymore, so I doubt there's any other meaning to this amount of space.
@OorWullie It's an arcade racer, it doesn't need to be complicated or anything so the experience should translate smoothly between consoles and mobile without any compromises.
Well they certainly do pretty graphics like Shin'en. Sad to see no Vita. Seeing that they can do something that's almost on par with Capcom's work on 3DS, I'd love to see what they can do on a more powerful handheld. There's mobile of course, but the mobile version will likely have to take into account many, many tiers of mobile technology. Sorta like PC, but without the same higher end cutoff.
"Unifying the nation" is not a good way to put it...
This is more of dictating the fans on what language/dialect they are required to use and enforcing their will upon the general public.
Perhaps he should fire whoever the hell approved the trailer. Even if Deep Silver is the one who commissioned it, shouldn't they have run it by Inti Creates before showing it? And yikes, pizza explosions. No wonder people are hating on this game. Good thing we at least still have Gunvolt.
