Fingers crossed Hi-Fi Rush comes to Switch and/or Switch 2. Perfect fit for Nintendo and its audience and we may actually get a physical version for it in the process. Been wanting to play it ever since it was revealed/released last year.
Why wouldn't this run well on Switch, is there something I'm missing here? Similar looking games in Metroid Dread and Prince of Persia look good and run at 60fps on Switch. Unless it's a poor optimization job or issues with the engine etc., I don't see why this can't run just fine on Switch....
Yup, looks like this game was developed for Switch in mind. As it should be considering the type of game it is. Should be a great game all around considering the Rayman team is doing it. Definitely getting this one.
Yeah, for me even as someone that is interested in a Steam Deck, it would be easier and cheaper for me to just buy it on Switch. As much as folks want to suggest buying games on every other platform other than Switch, for some of us, Switch is the only or preferred option.
If anyone could do it, it's Nintendo. People will argue "but the PS5 and Xbox Series are here and Nintendo will continue to fall even further behind", but that didn't matter when it came to Switch. A bunch of these major 3rd party titles didn't come to Switch and the platform was/is still a massive success.
However, with that said, I still think Nintendo should release Switch 2 this year as long as the games are ready. Having a good launch lineup and launch window(like the Switch did) is paramount.
Good article here, sums it up pretty well. Such a great year for Nintendo:
Tears of the Kingdom final trailer(I must've watched that like 80 times leading up to release)
The release of TotK(The launch of the game was an event itself; bringing back midnight launches, every store had a preorder bonus, launched alongside the Link amiibo etc.)
Playing TotK for the first time/experiencing the epic opening sequence.
The master sword scene.
The surprise reveal and launch of Metroid Prime Remastered.
The return of 2D Mario and making the formula feel fresh again.
Pikmin returning with a bang. Pikmin 4 was amazing and we also got 1&2 surprise releases.
Fingers crossed Shinobi is good. Not expecting a majority of these for a few years, probably all on Switch 2, but if Shinobi(which will most likely come out first) is solid, I'll be happy.
Really crappy move on their part. His speech was naturally going to last longer due to having to translate on the spot. This man is a legend in the industry.
Ugh, don't like these "game is announced but not for Switch" articles. Especially considering when we're very likely getting Switch 2 next year and games like this, the new MH and that new Atlus game will be on it.
Totally expect this to be announced for Switch 2 when Nintendo reveals it. MH Rise did extremely well on Switch, more MH is definitely coming to Nintendo.
Nothing really surprising here. First two games run good, as expected. Knight has issues, but to be expected for a PS4 game running on Switch that even had optimization issues on PC(PCs that were a lot stronger than the PS4 too) when it came out.
Still getting this collection, just happy these games are finally coming to Switch.
Don't care either way. I just use the Switch as a gaming device, as intended.
Whether or not they add these apps or not, I really hope the Switch 2's UI is simplistic like the Switch's. I know people make fun on the Switch's UI all the time, but give me something like that over an unnecessarily busy UI any day.
Good week for Switch hardware in general. Wonder already at 1M units alone is a great thing to see. And yeah, Switch hardware overall already back on top.
No reason this couldn't come to Switch, especially after they confirmed it was. A shame if it doesn't, I would be willing to buy it as along as it does.
Strongly agree with this piece. So much to do in this game and it was so fun to explore the world of Hyrule again and the new maps in the sky and depths.
Not that bad of a delay. Just happy that the Turok trilogy will be on Switch. Fingers crossed that Rage Wars(with online play) and Turok Evolution are in the cards.

Re: UK Charts: Mario Wonder Takes Silver, But Nabs The Single-Format Xmas No. 1
Nice to see Wonder get #1 in single format.
And yeah, kudos for adding the platform splits.
Re: 'Switch 2' Will Be An Iterative Evolution And Will Cost $400, Predicts Analyst
This is what I'm expecting and I'd be totally fine with it.

Re: Dungeon-Crawling RPG Legend Of Grimrock Is Getting A Switch Release
Interesting looking game. Might be yet another title to throw in the never ending Switch backlog.
Re: Talking Point: Could Nintendo Go Another Year Without A Switch Successor?

Re: Talking Point: What Was The Best Switch Moment Of 2023?
Good article here, sums it up pretty well. Such a great year for Nintendo:
Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Wins Another 'Game Of The Year' Award
It also won Game Informer and IGN's GotY, among others. Well deserved.
Also nice to see Mario Wonder get #3.
Re: Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Director Makes 2023 'Variety500' List
Love to see it. Really cool to see him get the acknowledgement he deserves.
Re: 'Year In Numbers' Infographic Highlights Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom's Sales Success In 2023
So well deserved for such a phenomenal game.
Re: Sega Reveals New Details For Shinobi, Jet Set Radio, Streets Of Rage Revivals

Re: Review: Outer Wilds (Switch) - A Sublime Spacewalk That Stutters Can't Spoil
Definitely interested in checking this out now it's on Switch. Sounds right up my alley.
Re: GTA 6 On 'Switch 2' Would Be "Very Tricky To Pull Off", Says Digital Foundry
A bit too early to say this when we don't even know what the Switch 2 will be, let alone the tools that can help with porting.....
But yeah, I'm not expecting GTA 6 on Switch 2 more because of Rockstar's decisions rather than the hardware and capabilities itself.
Re: Your 'Nintendo Switch Year In Review 2023' Stats Are Available Now
2,681 hours across 45 games.
TotK: 759 hrs
Hyrule Warriors DE: 187 hrs
FE Engage: 181 hrs.
Re: Hands On: Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown Royally Delivers On Switch
Super stoked for this one. Made by the Rayman legends studio, this should be good.
Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom's Master Sword Twist Was Decided Very Early On
Absolutely loved this scene. Instantly became one of my favorite master sword pulls in the series.
Re: Sega Plans To Revive Even "More" Legacy Franchises
Great to see Sega venture beyond just Sonic and Yakuza. As for the confirmed revivals, I'm most looking forward to Shinobi.
Re: Random: The Game Awards Urged Eiji Aonuma To 'Wrap Up' Zelda Acceptance Speech
Really crappy move on their part. His speech was naturally going to last longer due to having to translate on the spot. This man is a legend in the industry.
Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder Scores Best Family Game At The Game Awards
Well deserved. One of the many bangers Nintendo released this year.
Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Wins Best Action/Adventure Game At TGA 2023
Very well deserved.
Re: Visions Of Mana Announced By Square Enix, But Not For Switch
Ugh, don't like these "game is announced but not for Switch" articles. Especially considering when we're very likely getting Switch 2 next year and games like this, the new MH and that new Atlus game will be on it.
Re: Nintendo Expands Its Switch Online N64 Library With Three More Titles
Nice surprise to have all three drop at once.
Definitely starting up JFG this weekend.
Re: Capcom Unveils Monster Hunter Wilds, Coming In 2025
Totally expect this to be announced for Switch 2 when Nintendo reveals it. MH Rise did extremely well on Switch, more MH is definitely coming to Nintendo.
Re: Japanese Charts: Dragon Quest Makes Its Monster Debut On Switch
Great debut for DQM. And yeah, Switch OLED already back on top, love to see it.
Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Makes The Final 5 Of "Players' Voice" At The Game Awards
Love to see it. Easy vote for TotK from me.
Re: Jet Force Gemini's Widescreen Mode Reportedly "Broken" On Switch
A few overdramatic comments here, lol. More of a minor issue but carry on.
Definitely excited for JFG to come to NSO.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 2nd)
Will be starting Arkham Asylum on Switch, also some more Red Dead Redemption.
Re: We’ve Played Batman: Arkham Knight On Switch - Here’s 17 Minutes Of Gameplay
The big issue seems to be in the batmobile sections, a lot of things going on screen. Still seems playable overall to me.
No interest in owning the other consoles and my laptop is no where near capable of running this game, so I'm content sticking with the Switch version.
Re: Video: Batman Arkham Trilogy Side-By-Side Graphics Comparison
Nothing really surprising here. First two games run good, as expected. Knight has issues, but to be expected for a PS4 game running on Switch that even had optimization issues on PC(PCs that were a lot stronger than the PS4 too) when it came out.
Still getting this collection, just happy these games are finally coming to Switch.
Re: Nintendo Reminds Fans Zelda Is Up For Nomination At This Year's Game Awards
Easily my GotY this year(favorite game of all time too). 100% deserves it in my eyes.
Re: Talking Point: Would You Like To See More Streaming Media Apps On 'Switch 2'?
Don't care either way. I just use the Switch as a gaming device, as intended.

Re: Switch Online Is Expanding The N64 Library With Rare's Jet Force Gemini
@ChromaticDracula
Yup, it is. Already confirmed for North America.
Re: Switch Online Is Expanding The N64 Library With Rare's Jet Force Gemini
This is awesome. I rented this as a kid, but never beat it. Really stoked to play this again.
Re: Random: New College Course Is Grading Students On Their Zelda: TOTK Engineering Skills
This is so cool.
Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder Also Had A Strong Start In The US
Yeah, these results aren't that fair towards Mario since Nintendo doesn't provide digital. Mario could've very well been #1, just like in Japan.
Regardless, well deserved for an amazing 2D Mario title.
Re: Review: Super Mario RPG - A Timeless Classic Returns In A Remake Done Right
Great review, yet another banger published from Nintendo this year. I'll be getting this around Christmas next month.
Re: Nintendo Thanks Everyone For The Support Ahead Of The Game Awards
Very well deserved. Hopefully Tears of the Kingdom wins GotY and Mario Wonder takes best family.
Re: Poll: So, How Would You Rate That Nintendo Indie World Showcase?
Pretty good show, I'd say it's a solid 8/10.
Braid, Shantae, Moonstone island, Blade Chimera, Outer Wilds etc.
Re: Braid: Anniversary Edition Coming To Nintendo Switch Next Year
Great to hear confirmation, definitely getting this on Switch.
lol Some of the early posts here didn't exactly age well.
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Super Mario RPG On Switch?
Yes, but not right away. Probably get it around Christmas.
Re: Nintendo Is Most-Nominated Publisher At The Game Awards 2023
Very well deserved. From the many games they released and even a movie, Nintendo had a superb 2023.
Re: Zelda: TOTK And Mario Wonder Land GOTY Nominations At The Game Awards 2023
Really hope TotK wins, just glad to see two Nintendo games here though.
Re: Braid: Anniversary Edition Out Next Year, But There's No Mention Of A Switch Release
No reason this couldn't come to Switch, especially after they confirmed it was. A shame if it doesn't, I would be willing to buy it as along as it does.
Re: Soapbox: Six Months Later, Tears Of The Kingdom's Sense Of Wonder Is Still Unmatched
Strongly agree with this piece. So much to do in this game and it was so fun to explore the world of Hyrule again and the new maps in the sky and depths.
Re: The Turok 3 Remaster On Switch Has Been Subject To A Short Delay
Not that bad of a delay. Just happy that the Turok trilogy will be on Switch. Fingers crossed that Rage Wars(with online play) and Turok Evolution are in the cards.
Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Wins Nintendo GOTY At Golden Joystick Awards 2023
Very well deserved. Not only my personal Goty, but my favorite game ever, beating out Botw.
Re: Valve Announces Steam Deck OLED, Says Switch OLED Paved The Way
Cool of Valve to give credit to Nintendo and praise the Switch OLED.
Poor Vita lol, not surprised they didn't acknowledge it though. Even Sony hates the Vita.
