More Origami King and Portal 2(on Switch) for me.

Got my copy preordered. Can't wait for this one.

Whatever the next MH is, hopefully it's on the Switch successor. Pretty confident the successor will get MH in some capacity since Rise was such a huge success on the Switch.

This looks good. I never played the original on GBA, so this will actually be a new experience for me.

Even the thought of this is bad, lol. But yeah, thankfully it wouldn't happen. I want Nintendo to continue to stay independent and make hardware as long as possible.

Hard to believe anything before we actually see it... Even if the Switch 2 is "only" as powerful as the PS4 and XB1, it would still use way more modern architecture and it would still be good for a portable system.

Don't understand why that would be a problem either. Switch came out a few years into the the PS4 and XB1 generation, and it still outsold both.

I was expecting this, just happy it's on Switch in the first place. Definitely getting this later down the road.

Actually a fun little game, and this is coming from someone who has never been much of an F-zero fan. Nice addition to NSO.

Great to TotK still in top 10 despite being a few months old, there's still plenty of buzz around the game. Also nice to see Pikmin doing decent too(even outside of Japan). Just of matter of time till it becomes the best selling in the series.

I'm fine with this. I enjoyed every second of Tears of the Kingdom which ran at 30... I just don't care unless it actually affects gameplay.

Pretty good, especially considering the Switch is winding down. I didn't expect any new, big games with the Switch 2 nearing. The Switch is really going out with a bang.

Decent Direct considering the Switch is winding down. I wasn't expecting a bunch of new games to be announced for Switch, I imagine most studios are now working on Switch 2 games.

2023 will very likely be the last full year of just the Switch on the market, and it's been great. 2024 already has good titles to start out while Switch 2 probably comes out in the latter of half of that year. Most other Nintendo platforms didn't have this strong of an exit.

Diddy, Funky and Pauline is great, I was just expecting Diddy and Pauline. Great way to end the booster course.

Not surprised to see a September Direct happening. As always, going with little expectations. Only expecting to see Splatoon 3 expansion and the name and release window for the Peach game.

They've always been to me, long before they made video games even.

Even since they were mainly a video game company, they ventured into movies and TV shows in the 90s.

Really happy to see Pikmin 4 doing this well. Easily my favorite in the series.

I can respect this. I still expect a Hyrule Warriors game that ties in with TotK ala Age of Calamity. Especially after how well that game sold.

That's great to hear, game will be a massive seller for sure. Haven't preordered it yet myself, but will definitely do so.

Tears of the Kingdom delayed a whole year just for polish, Mario Wonder had no deadline... The rest of the industry can definitely take notes from Nintendo.

Really wish Nintendo had full control over Pokemon.

I still need to playthrough 2 on Switch, but glad to see all games are on the platform now. I'll get this eventually.

I recently finished Quake II and all its extra content, what a blast.

I will always prefer Mario. Wonder is a day 1 and I'm sure it'll be a great game. Sonic superstars is still a maybe, although it does look like the most interesting Sonic game to me in a while.

Great to see a Direct dedicated to Wonder. The game is a day 1 for me anyway, but it'll nice to see new footage.

And yeah, they've done game specific Directs close to general Directs, so this doesn't mean there won't be a general in next month.

Great to see Pikmin and Zelda still selling well in Japan. With digital included, Pikmin 4 is easily over 1M units sold in Japan alone, love to see it.

This is cool. Never played this back in the day, but always remember seeing tons of coverage for it back in old magazines. Star Wars meets Doom? sign me up.

Great to see Nightdive remastering this one, nice to have the entire trilogy on Switch.

Great to see Motaro return, even if he's just a kameo. We still need Switch footage, I'm confident it'll look/run fine if 11 is anything to go by.

Anyway, I'm glad this game turned out well. Definitely want to check it out later down the road.

All I needed to hear. A small part of me was concerned this would be a bad port/optimization job, but thankfully that's not the case. I'll be getting this physically in October.

I still think TotK will win and I want it to win, but yeah, this has been a great year for games, even outside of the Switch.

Personally, my top three games of year are TotK, Prime Remastered and Pikmin 4.

Glad to see Rockstar learned their lesson with the GTA trilogy at launch and put a good studio behind this that optimized it well. This shouldn't be surprising news since the Switch is more than capable of handling PS360 games, but sadly some poor optimization jobs have made people skeptical.

So happy to see Pikmin 4 still selling well. Recently beat the game myself and it's easily the best in the series for me.

Just preloaded this since I had some leftover eShop funds. Eager to check this one out.

Definitely picking this up. Glad to see these games finally coming to Switch, some of my most wanted ports for years.

I put in hundreds of hours in and did mostly everything(didn't collect all gems or Korok seeds), but did all the shrines and lighroots. Beat the game a couple weeks ago and what a masterpiece. Definitely beats out BotW for my favorite game of all time.

Edit: Forgot the Splatfest was this weekend, so definitely a bit of Splatoon 3 too.

After Dread sold 3M+ and Mercury Steam positive experience working with Nintendo, one of these is probably a Metroid title. Whether it's a remake of Super or Metroid 6, count me in.
