Really good month. Echoes of Wisdom is a day 1. Epic mickey, plucky squire, lollipop chainsaw and Bakeru are also on the list. I'll be getting MvC collection physically in November as well.

I'll take it. It was like pulling teeth for Sega to get this series on Switch in the first place(although it shouldn't have been). I'm just happy they finally put a game from this series on Switch and at only $20.

As much as I want this, I'll hold off until the physical release. I usually don't mind going digital, but a collection like this, physical is a must.

I feel like this won't be the last time we'll see Playstation show up in Nintendo partner Directs. Also wouldn't surprise me if we get a bunch of newer Xbox 1st party titles on Switch 2. Crazy times.

Pretty cool. Hoping to finally get that MVC collection release date, Nintendo seems to have the marketing for this game so it would make sense to get another quick trailer and release date.

Crazy how the Switch has sold this much/been out this long and can still combine to sell over 100k in a week, without any brand new releases.

For me, as long as the launch lineup and year 1 roadmap is good enough, I could justify buying it at $500(imagine if we got new 3D Mario, new Mario Kart, SW2 version of Prime 4, and some third party titles etc.) That would sure as heck be more enticing to me than a PS5 or Xbox at the same price.

With that said, Nintendo isn't going to price it that high, nor should they tbh. $400-450 with a strong yr. 1 like the current Switch had will be good.

This makes sense. Nintendo isn't at the show, which means they didn't submit any.

They could've easily had Echoes of Wisdom, Mario Party, M&L Brothership and FDC but they chose not to be at the show. Nothing really embarrassing about this.

I like how they put that disclaimer. Despite it being obvious from the name of the Direct alone that there wouldn't be any game or Switch 2 announcements. Always will be those people that will play dumb and expect game announcements in events like these.

I was personally expecting it to release in March at the earliest anyway. So if it release some time in Q2 next year, it wouldn't surprise me at all.

This looks fantastic. Some nice features overall, love to see deku scrubs return and the two different types of Zora.

Doesn't surprise me. BotW can be found for cheaper, has more name recognition, and is a better entry point for any new Switch owners.

I prefer TotK, but BotW is still a fantastic game in its own right.

I still want to get this on Switch at some point. Not really surprised it hasn't sold well; it was announced, had no release date for a while and then delayed. I didn't see much advertising for it either.

I'm pretty confident this will be on Switch 2. As is the case with other 3rd party titles like Metaphor and Persona 3 remake.

I would love a new entry on Switch 2 in the next few years. With Disney owning X-men now, a new entry wouldn't run into the issues that Infinite did either.

Whaddya know, when devs. put the effort into porting games to Switch(assuming it's in the realm of possibility like this game), you get good results.

See, when devs. actually put effort into it, you get good ports like this. Ports like this does away with the whole "Switch is super underpowered"/"barely stronger than the Gamecube" ideals.

This is really interesting. I would love to see a horror title from Nintendo.

It's all about the games and how well they market it. Sony has been "getting away with"(for lack of better term) iterative consoles all these years and are doing fine. Even the PS5 has a questionable 1st party lineup and is heavily leaning on 3rd party titles.

Nintendo doesn't need to get too crazy with being "weird" either. I think people would far more upset with something different than the Switch rather than an iteration. As I already stated, just bring the games(new Mario Kart, Smash, 3D Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Animal Crossing etc. etc) and people will come over to Switch 2.

However, I think Nintendo will manage longer development cycles better than most other companies. Not every game Nintendo puts out will be some massive open world game and/or a game with ultra detailed graphics and textures.

Anyway, when I played this game on 3DS it was a solid 8/10 game for me. Highly recommend folks picking it up if they haven't already.

This new ability already looks awesome. This game is an easy day 1 buy.

Not really surprising or confusing considering DK has a lot more appeal than Metroid.

Love to see it. Zelda, Prime 4, Mario and Luigi and the MvC collection are all day 1 pickups for me.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Even with spending down, really hard to beat the absolute behemoth that was TotK.

Don't care who's making it as long as the game is good. So far, the game looks good and seems pretty faithful to past entries.

It's the Hori Fighting Commander. Not a fightstick, but it works well. 6 button layout and a solid dpad.

I'm most excited to play MVC2 again after all of these years. Even more excited to play it on Switch since I have a good fightpad for Switch(I didn't have anything like on PS3).

This collection is such a dream come true. Never thought we would see something like this.

Doesn't surprise that this sold more on Switch, despite it being a rerelease. PS5 software numbers are just never good in Japan.

It really shouldn't surprise people that it was running on the current Switch.

It's hilarious that some folks are surprised it's running on Switch while others(and maybe some of the same, knowing how folks on the internet roll) are expecting it to look better. lol
