This acquisition sounds awful. I don't want Sony anywhere near FromSoft or Spike Chunsoft, they'll find a way to ruin those games or just kill off the IPs and studios.

I've also read that this company owns Famitsu as well... Yeah, this would be terrible. Hopefully this is false or the purchase gets blocked.

Will probably check this out now that's on Switch. Glad to see the studio put effort in for a overall solid Switch port.

Good to hear, but it needs a lot of work from what I've seen. No reason the Switch version can't run better than the PS360 versions.

This doesn't surprise me (Nintendo has always done BC when they were able to), but nice to have official confirmation.

Again, better hardware isn't going to fix poor optimization or issues with porting over an engine... Let's not pretend the Switch can't run THIS game, c'mon people.

Yup, I've been meaning to do another playthrough with a different character build. It'll also have new content(looking like it'll have some sort of new expansion ala Future connected in Xenoblade 1 remake).

This is cool. I'm actually glad it's tied to NSO rather than another music app. Nice to see more perks added to NSO.

Love to see Switch owners proving what the studio head said a couple years ago about the Switch audience completely wrong.

Really good start overall especially considering it launched at the end of the month and doesn't include digital.

lol yeah, I was wondering where the mass outrage is for this. It's like Nintendo is the only company that isn't allowed to act like every other company does.

Not much Nintendo can do about physical copies leaking early, since it's out of their hands at that point. Happens to most non Nintendo games too.

Unfortunate, but not surprising. With the issues surrounding Ubisoft and a lot of these major "AAA" publishers(most of which are Western publishers), I figured Lost Crown was probably going to be their last game.

A major problem with Ubisoft games, even if they turn out to be good games, is that they've trained their audience to wait for their games to go down to like $20. And you don't even have to wait that long for it to happen.

This is cool. I played through the 1st game when it came to NSO, likely do the same with this one.

Alien Isolation is fantastic. Really happy to hear this, fingers crossed it's on Switch 2.

Very refreshing to see a studio expand during a time when so many other companies are suffering layoffs. Cannot wait to see what Monolith soft has in store for Switch 2.

It's weaker than the likes of RE4 and 5, but still a decent game. Pretty cool how they incorporated zombies back into the series while still having the plagas enemies from 4 and 5.

Also, 6 has the best mercenaries mode.

After making the Xenoblade games and assisting with games like BotW, TotK, Animal Cross NH and the Splatoon games, they've quickly become one of my favorite devs.

Can't wait to see what they have in store for Switch 2.

Yeah, hard to beat out a new FC game that's literally on everything. I'm sure Echoes of Wisdom will turn out to be a sales success overall.

9/10 for me. Great game, the echoes mechanic is fun, whether in combat or solving puzzles.

Crazy that Mario Kart hit 6M and Animal Crossing is inching towards 8M in Japan alone. A lot of games don't even hit those numbers worldwide and on multiple platforms.

And less than 10k combined for PS5, yikes. Not at all surprising though.

I've played a bit so far and noticed some minor dips in the first town, but nothing too jarring or anything. Certainly not enough to damper the fun time I've been having.

Really cool reading about the development of this game. Really happy with the route they took. (although I wouldn't mind seeing a separate Zelda dungeon maker game and a new topdown game starring Link again in the future)

Calm before the Zelda storm. Mario Party next month and Brothership in November so Nintendo will have some new and old titles in the charts for the rest of the year.

It would be funny if Nintendo winds up and funds/publishes a new entry anyway. They seem like one of the few major publishers to do so.

But yeah as others have already brought up, I enjoyed Astral Chain far more. We need a sequel on Switch 2.

Good stuff. It's cool that the Switch version has the motion controls like the Wii version and the new control scheme for regular controllers.

PushSquare gave it only a 5/10 and it's getting pretty mild reviews across the board, so I don't think we're missing much in the 1st place. The devs and publishers not optimizing the Switch version only makes things worse.

Always a shame when devs. don't optimize their games on Switch(or any platform for that matter) just leads to lower sales overall. I would've bought this but now I'm waiting to see if they patch it.

Reading some comments here, it doesn't appear to be that bad though. I'm usually one to be pretty tolerant when it comes to technical issues while some others would immediately right it off as "unplayable". (Not saying that's going on with this review, but yeah)

I had a feeling Lego Horizon wasn't the end of Playstation IPs on Switch. I would love to see Gravity Rush 1 and 2 on Switch/Switch 2. Even past that, a bunch of Japan studios games too.

As for Freedom wars, never got around to playing it on Vita, but I heard mostly good things about this game. Definitely want to play this remaster on Switch.

As with most games, I'm sure a stable 30 will be completely fine. If framerate is that big of a deal for you, there's other options. I'll gladly play this on Switch though.

Yikes, only 12k for Astrobot isn't good. The game looks so good and the first PS 1st party game that has really peaked my interest in ages.

I'm waiting for the physical release. I really want this, but I've waited this long so 2 more months won't kill me. We got Echoes of Wisdom later this month anyway.

Switch 2 will be $450 max. I'm still banking on it being $400. You gotta remember, Sony has been REALLY egregious with their pricing this generation alone. (Raising the prices on consoles, controllers, PS+ while adding nothing worthy to the service, an expensive VR headset that's not even bc etc etc). Sony has really become the Apple of the gaming industry.

I just can't see Nintendo following suit. Even the Switch OLED was only $50 more, if that was Sony it would be at least $100 more.

Astrobot looks great, first game that makes me want a PS5 tbh. Still don't want to buy a console for one game though, especially with Switch 2 coming next year. Hopefully this a lesson that every game doesn't need to be this massive budget, "cinematic" experience. But outside of what Team Asobi does, I doubt Sony will change.
