Can’t say I’m a fan of the new legandaries. They suffer from the same issue Black and Whites did by being a bit over designed. Everything else I’m digging though.

@Croarus people need to understand that Nintendo need to have these smaller titles to fill up their release calendar too. It’s why they pivoted to the current model of releasing more content later soo they can get the game out faster.

Let’s be honest, the people complaining about Nintendo Switch Sports were never the target audience for the game. The target audience was the casual crowd who just wanted to play it with their friends and families.

@RubyCarbuncle dude I’m 30, almost, I remember when games were delayed too. But delays are not good. They can give you more time to work on it, but that also leaves a massive hole in the release calendar which can be disastrous. Don’t believe me, look at Starfield and what it’s done to the XBox.

And lulls in game releases is one of the big reasons the Wii U failed. Nintendo don’t want that to happen again, hence why they pivoted to this release strategy.

@KBuckley27 no the game is finished. It’s fully playable and all the main mechanics are in the game. Saying this game isn’t finished is like saying the original Street Fighter 2 wasn’t finished.

To those complaining that the game is incomplete and is just getting the content via a free update, if they released the game with all the content in it at launch that would mean delaying the game for a few months.

And if you think you’re ok with that, well fair enough, but Nintendo is not. Having a lull in games coming out is not good, it’s one of the reasons the Wii U died. It’s why companies try to avoid delaying a game as much as possible. So if Nintendo can release a finished, fully playable game with a slight lack of content, and then update it with more content in the future, then that’s precisely what they will do.

@gcunit it could also be to simplify things a little. There are technically 2 Wonder boy 3’s, one for arcade and one for the Master Ststem. And Monster World IV isn’t the 4th game, it’s the sixth, Wonder Boy is confusing.

Awesome! I was curious why Wonder Boy 3 was absent, then I remember they already released it via the remake so I get why they skipped it.

The Darkstalkers games alone are worth the price of admission.

I’m playing it right now. Good game, but not that accessible for newcomers. The arcade ai is brutal and the limited continues seems like a backwards design decision.

Excited for this. Looks like it has all the charm of Stardew Valley but with a bit more focus in the core gameplay loop.

I remember seeing similar allegations a few years ago when Lords of Shadow 2 released with no corroborating evidence to back it up, from an employee that was supposedly fired.

It’s important to listen to these allegations with a degree of scrutiny. People will and often do lie to get back at others for perceived wrongs. That doesn’t mean we should disregard the allegations, but we need to make sure the people that are making them can back them up

Does anyone even bother to read the credits anyway? I normally skip them unless there’s a video playing alongside it.
