Update: Capcom's made it official - announcing the collection will drop on 22nd July. Find out more in our latest post:
Capcom's second Arcade Stadium collection was announced in April, and we've been eagerly waiting to find out what games will be included in the package.
However, it looks like we might not need to wait! Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium's 32 game line-up has potentially been leaked through the Microsoft Store, as reported by our friends at Push Square, and the leak has revealed that there's a fair bit of crossover with previous Capcom collections, including the first Capcom Arcade Stadium and the currently unreleased Capcom Fighting Collection.
We're probably going to find out more information about the collection during Capcom's Digital Showcase which airs next week on the 13th June. If you missed out on the first collection, check out our review from last year.
But for now, we've got a full list of the games appearing in the 2nd Stadium, so if you want to be surprised, then step away now!
Okay, are you ready to find out? Here's the full list:
- 1943 Kai
- Black Tiger
- Block Block
- Capcom Sports Club
- Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
- Eco Fighters
- Gan Sumoku (GunSmoke)
- Hissatsu Buraiken (Avengers)
- Hyper Dyne Side Arms
- Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition
- Knights of the Round
- Last Duel
- Magic Sword
- Mega Man: The Power Battle
- Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters
- Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge
- Pnickies
- Rally 2011 LED Storm
- Saturday Night Slam Masters
- Savage Bees (Exed Exes)
- SonSon
- Street Fighter
- Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams
- Street Fighter Alpha 2
- Street Fighter Alpha 3
- Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
- Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
- The King of Dragons
- The Speed Rumbler (Rush & Crash)
- Three Wonders
- Tiger Road
- Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire
There are definitely a couple of expected ones here — like the Darkstalkers and Street Fighter games appearing again — but these are two of Capcom's most iconic beat 'em ups, so we can see why they'd make another appearance. The Mega Man: The Power Battle games are a nice surprise, though!
We'll wait and see what other details we might find out at next week's showcase (if this appears at all!), but for now, if you braved the spoilers, let us know in the comments what you think about the line-up!

Why couldn't this just come out as DLC?
No Alien Vs Predator, Punisher, Cadillacs & Dinosaurs, Marvel Super Heroes Vs Capcom, Street Fighter Vs X-men, X-Men or Marvel Super Heroes sadly.
No Area 88 or Willow. 😩 I know there are licence issues with them, but I’d be happy to pay extra for that.
Aside from Eco Warriors it’s a pretty underwhelming list for me, so I’ll probably be giving it a miss.
@Orokosaki Licensing must be a big issue for each one of these, I'm afraid. Not impossible, but certainly costly.
Some great titles I am excited for:
Just missing UN Squadron and my hoped for list would be complete.
I'm really happy/excited for this to come out.
Oh man. This is fantastic since I didn’t want to buy the fighter collection just for puzzle fighter. Now I can get it as a stand alone.
@helbertpina it must be although Arcade1Up seem to get plenty of licenses for their standalone mini arcades. Maybe Capcom just don’t want to pay the licensing fees.
****** hell, Capcom can't catch a break with leaks can they?
@kingbk
Who says it isn't?
You may be able to dl the game packs / titles and have them in the same launcher. Would be daft not to...
______________________
Crossover with the first lot and lack of UN Squadron are proper annoying, but Side Arms, Black Tiger, Led Storm, and the Mega Man games are especially welcome.
Speed Rumbler I loved as a kid, but couldn't remember it's name! Seeing it here has jogged something in the depths of my memory, so that is another joy to have
Meh, poor list. I wanted more... There is no Dungeons & Dragons games, and no Alien vs. Predator. Strange - they included Alien vs. Predator with their dedicated console-arcade stick, but don't released it in compilations, or as stand-alone title.
No Quiz & Dragons. This is a personal attack against me.
@Vyacheslav333 that confuses me too about Alien Vs Predator, something to do with licensing I guess. I’d happily pay £50 for it to have it on Switch!
Ahhh, there are a handful of games that I thought were absent from the first stadium. There is a certain era of arcade gaming now that I feel is pretty much complete. Really hope they can manage to sort something out with all their licensed games. Some absolute gems amongst those
Echoing everyone else, the lack of Aliens vs Predator is a bummer. They’ve already made a few disney collections, the door is open to do AVP and all the marvel fighting games NOT JUST MVC2!!! I want them all.
@Orokosaki Yeah idk what you were thinking, but that just wouldn't happen for this type of collection
@Fighting_Game_Loser why wouldn’t it? They’re some of Capcoms biggest arcade games.
I’m glad this is coming but it sucks a lot of the games are releasing on other collections.
Fairly meh list I'd say. Not anything I can get excited for as I own most of these already.
Wait... WHAT?!
"There are definitely a couple of expected ones here — like the Darkstalkers and Street Fighter games appearing again — but these are two of Capcom's most iconic beat 'em ups, so we can see why they'd make another appearance."
You call Street Fighter and Vampire(Darkstalkers) games beat 'em ups?! Hey, it's 2022, not 1992. Mainline Street Fighter and Vampire(Darkstalkers) games are fightings(1 vs 1/2 vs 2/3 vs 3/and even 4 vs 4, due to KOF's Strikers mechanic in NESTS saga), not beat 'em ups(1/2/3/or 4 players vs many generic enemies)!
Man this is also a very good line up. There definitely is a bit of over lap with some of Capcom's other recent collections, but if I can purchase some individually, then this will be another great little collection
2/3 of my guesses were correct.

@Orokosaki I'm not saying they aren't some of their most important arcade games, they just need licencing from such big companies that most likely want them separately from this batch of games
@Vyacheslav333
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beat_%27em_up
"in the United Kingdom, video game magazines during the 1980s to 1990s, such as Mean Machines and Computer & Video Games (C+VG) for example, referred to all games which had a combat motif as beat 'em ups, including fighting games.[14] However, they were differentiated by a specific prefix; games like Double Dragon or Final Fight were called "scrolling beat 'em ups"[15] and games such as Street Fighter II or Mortal Kombat were referred to as "one on one beat 'em ups".[16] Fighting games were still being called "beat 'em up" games in the UK gaming press up until the end of the 1990s.[17]"
Might be old-school but it's probably just a UK thing
SFA2 on Switch shall be mine, finally.
Been hesitant to pay full price for SF Collection considering I own the games I care about multiple times over, including CPS1 & 2 jamma copies. Was happy to pay £3 for SSF2T in the first collection. Will do the same here for SFA2.
Still weird and very annoying that they didn't just add these to the first one though, its a digital only store front ffs, not like you can buy physical versions of the entire collection of each volume.
@Rambler Oh, well... I understood. Thanks for this interesting info.
Not a bad line up and the ability to piecemeal means you don’t have to double dip. Win win. I will mix and match what I don’t have or won’t get in a collection. Switch is my arcade on the go.
@Vyacheslav333
I only know this from having the same conversation in another thread, where I was adamant that SF was a beat em up!
Looks like being from the UK (and playing games for a long time) is the reason for this
Yes! Mega man! It’s about time!
Damn. These collections would be enticing, instead of infuriating, if there wasn't constant overlap with the games. I guess the solace is you can buy them individually. Oh well, it's back to MAME for me.
@Rambler O. Understood.
@Orokosaki Well, that is comparing a $400? mini-cabinet to a $30? compilation.
One surely has a wider profit margin to absorb the fees from.
I've puchased and played all of these a million ways to Tuesday. So not sure I will bite. Great games though.
Slam Masters and Mega Man are hard to get so those are a big win.
Uh more of the same games, you had other games too Capcom, instead of Street Fighter Alpha 2, give us Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold, instead of Street Fighter Alpha 3, give us Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper. Everything from the Capcom Fighting Collection is included, what was the point of that collection again? Where's Power Stone, Rival Schools, Star Gladiators, Street Fighter The Movie the Game, etc? Oh well hopefully there's rollback netcode online play in Street Fighter Alpha 2 this time, it was a mistake not to include online play for Alpha 2 for the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection.
Saturday Night Slam Masters!!!
@KingMike horses for courses I guess….they’d sell more $30 games than $400 arcade cabinets.
@Orokosaki These are all licenced games, costs more money.
Hmm, nice to see Black Tiger, Eco Fighters and Three Wonders, but I am a bit disappointed. It's pretty much all the same stuff from the ps2 collections, and there's a lot of overlap between the various Switch Capcom compilations. I was hoping to see more of Capcom's late 90s early 2000s stuff that I haven't really had a chance to play, such as Star Gladiators, Power Stone, Rival Schools and Cannon Spike.
HYPER. DYNE. SIDE. ARMS!!!
easily one of my favorite arcade games ever! and the soundtrack…video game music bliss!!
so happy to finally have this on a Nintendo system!
@Orokosaki exactly my first thought too! Given Alien vs Predator was released on the Capcom arcade stick, I’m assuming this isn’t a licensing issue.
I am 100% buying whatever bundle involves the Mega Man power battle/fighters. I LOVE those games!
@zbinks
But none of the sequels, which are better.
@kingbk I’m really hoping that Capcom is just calling it Stadium 2 but that it’ll be dlc for the first one. I really like the virtual arcade room and designing the walls and things like that.
I’ll be getting Eco Fighters and Black Tiger when they go down to a few bucks. Unless the lag is crap! Which is possible! Lol
@Rambler but with all that being said shmups used to be called “shooters” or “space shooters”. That’s changed since the rise of first person shooters. And I’m still not sure if Saturday Night Slam Masters is a Beat’em Up or fighting game lol
Knight of the Round and King of Dragons were the last 2 exclusives to the Beat 'em Up collection. Guess I can delete that one.
Street Fighter III is now the only thing left exclusives on the Anniversary Collection
And now it seems Red Earth will be the only thing exclusive on the new Capcom Fighting Collection.
At this point, better skip all those collections, and just focus on the Arcade Stadium.
If the leak is true, then this is the closest we're EVER gonna get to a Mega Man Collection announcement of ANY kind, be it Legends, Battle Network, Star Force, or even Miscellaneous.
In fact, a Legacy Collection 3 might as well have Battle & Chase included.
Did they ever re-release the power battle games?
All in all a good selection, but doesn't it kinda render the also upcoming Dark Stalkers collection moot if you're not willing to shell out 40 bucks for Red Earth alone?
Some really bizarre decisions have been made with this.
@Greatluigi Yup, they are part of the Mega Man Anniversary Collection (GC,PS2,XBOX), while the X Collection had Battle&Chae as a bonus game.
@adh56
I've always used shoot 'em up for pretty much any game that involves shooting of the horizontal or vertical kind. I'm sure that at one point many many moons ago there was a thing for trying to apply the 'em up suffix to as many disparate genres as possible.
But yeah, it's a bit of a genre minefield, which I suppose, can lead to interesting discussions
I don't think any of these games appear on Stadium 1,so I'm not sure what the cross over with that is? I'm intending to buy the Fighting Collection so it's unfortunate to see a few of its games on here. That collection is all about the online play though, so I'll wait and see how that fares before deciding whether to get it.
All in all, it's a pretty good collection, with loads I've never played. The leaderboards make each title worth playing so I know I'll get a lot out of it, just like the first one.
Just for Black Tiger, I could buy this cashgrab. This game traumatized me when I was a kid. I finished it with the help of a dude. Man, sweet memories. But please Capcom, leave the old Street Fighters rest in peace. It's time, really.
@AG_Awesome True, although this version won't have online play...
I have been wanting to try Slam Masters since the 90's, so I really hope that one is legit. I would always play as Haggar in Final Fight and wanted to see what he would be like in the ring.
@Einherjar If only Battle and Chase is an arcade game, like Mega Man's Soccer that game is console exclusive only so it can't be included in these arcade releases.
Eco Fighters, Three Wonders and both Mega Man games for me.
FREAKING MEGA MAN!
Needs more Ring of Destruction
@Bass_X0 I now think there's enough games to make up a Capcom Arcade 3rd Stadium after seeing the leaked line up for the second collection having some games that are also in Capcom Fighting Collection.
I can't see Capcom selling these games separately for $2 each anytime soon as it'll take away the upcoming Fighting Collection sales
@fragranthills in a perfect world we'd get some of the other capcom quiz world games translated as well
Capcom does what Nintendont.
Then, why buy the Capcom Fighting Collection again?
@Greatluigi Yeap, the two Mega Man Power Battles arcade games first debut at the arcade then both got ported to the NeoGeo Pocket Color, and then eventually to the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube via the Mega Man Anniversary Collection. This will be the third time these two games got re-released.
I just want Super Puzzle Fighter. I don't want to buy this or the Street Fighter Collection to get it. But it seems that this is the way it must be.
@KingMike
You’re woefully ignoring both margin and sales volume.
So wait, most of that fighting compilation they’re releasing is on this compilation? And no AVP?
@Orokosaki I don't know if it was just speculation or knowledge of such things, but I saw someone once suggest that the licensing agreements might be considerably different between digital distribution and including a game like Alien vs. Predator on that arcade stick product. That Capcom stick and the arcade cabinets were from smaller companies, and those licensed games are a part of that overall product. And those products may have limited production runs and all that. Capcom is a larger company and perhaps that, along with digital distribution leads to a different type of licensing agreement that is far less favorable. It seems to make sense why those products had those licensed games but they're not available for game consoles or digital download. It's a rather silly situation, but I suspect the IP holders demand too much.
Happy to see Side Arms, Gunsmoke, and Magic Sword in there, and a few I’ve never tried before. I’ll probably invest in a few of these a la carte, if we have that option again.
If 100% true, then these are the ones I'm most hyped for:
1943 Kai
Saturday Night Slam Masters
Savage Bees (Exed Exes)
SonSon
Big "19" fan so I'll grab that. Saturday Night Slam Masters needs no intro, and it's been sooo many years for me. Exed Exes I've heard was good, so I'm game. And SonSon (first Capcom arcade game?) I meant to get last generation but never got around to it.
Boohoo no Dimahoo. My biggest hope for this collection!
i mean, the clear reason to get the capcom collections are the online multiplayer and rebalancing/bugfixing (along with other creature comforts like training mode, museum features, etc.), i don't know why that's so confusing to so many people
@MeloMan both exed exes and son son are pretty simple games but are very fun
@Orokosaki Cadillacs and Dinosaurs brings back so many memories! Thanks 😊
Nemo, Willow, AvP ..come on Capcom.
meh... I don't understand the capcom way of selecting games... I thought to buy the fighting collection... but now is useless ... in the same way of beat em up collection.
@somebread so you'd like to buy the same game over and over to have 2 or 3 extra features ? cmon we are speaking about 20 or 30yo games. 15euros for 10 game is worth (arcade stadium) 40euros for almost the same 10 games not.
@Zanzox for online play with rollback netcode, yes, especially when the majority of those games haven't seen rerelease in like 10-12+ years?
generally brother I'd just use fightcade for any of this, but i'd like to play puzzle fighter on the go
Ok suddenly I don't want Capcom Fighting Collection anymore... oh wait, I see no Red Earth here. Ok you win again Capcom.
@Joriss ok but red earth is mediocre at best...
Very underwhelming understandably no license games like Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, AVP, Punisher etc. how about Red Earth, Final Fight Revenge, Giga Wing 2, Rival Schools, Super Pang, Strider 2, Last Duel and Star Gladiator,?
Instead we get games that have been on every other Capcom collection or various Street Fighter games.
@Zanzox i could say the same thing about the megaman fighters, yet plenty of people are excited for them :V mediocrity is in the eye of the beholder
@Shadow_Dancer i'm getting a feeling ports of the NAOMI games/3D titles are pipe dreams judging from the last...30 years of capcom collections (barring the port of 3 upper in the SFA collection)
@somebread perfectly agree with you about megaman fighters👌🏻 and also about "mediocrity is in the eye of the beholder"
but problem is different, for example take beat 'em up bundle: I love king of dragons... but I refuse to pay 40buck for that game (considering that all the others are in capcom arcade)
@Orokosaki I know there's something about them being licensed for "arcades" and not "home consoles". I'm sure the legalese is a lot more complex than this, but it's something along those lines. That's why Capcom's own "mini console", which is actually an arcade stick with an emulator built-in and HDMI out, included at least "Aliens vs Predator" - it kinda, sorta, more or less was an arcade machine... built for the home consumers. Weird, but yeah, that's licensing for you, I guess...
@cyrus_zuo I initially didn't see gunsmoke until I read through that list again.. wooooooooo! and side Arms as well!!!
Lots of deep cuts this time around, such as last duel and LED storm/Mad Gear, however you’d think that they would have included em in the last one and saved some of the more influential games for 2nd. However the same complaints that certain licensed games aren’t here are still being made, the key word here is “licensed”. Capcom can’t just throw them in at will, they need to strike up a deal with the ip holders first
Put these on a cartridge and we’ll talk.
@Joekun
I upvoted for your comment as well as your avatar! I suppose we could get a physical release, if maybe they work with LRG or somebody. Or in Japan perhaps? I’d buy instantly!
As it is the 1st Arcade Stadium is 50% off right now in the NA eshop. I could be tempted to pick up digitally for that price… 😅
