Didn't get the first one and don't plan on getting this one. Pretty sick of getting burned at this point. Ubisoft won't get my money. Besides, the first game was the definition of mediocre from what I remember.

Wow... they pulled a complete 180 from what literally every other developer/publisher does with Wii U. At least I know this will be one of the few proper ports for the system

No way I'd consider 70+ dollar shoes. They just aren't worth it when I can easily get 2 pairs for the same price that will last about just as long, design notwithstanding.

I really like the high top black ones, but there's no way in hell I'd spend $75 bucks on shoes. I can get a pair of C9s for 30 and they last me more than a year and I put those suckers through hell.

Another 2 cups for DLC? Maybe a proper freaking Battle Mode?

Curious how this will be the same as the previous one, seeing as they'll have different codes. Do they somehow share the same Wonder Card? Not sure how that works with these codes.

It's sad that most of the kids that I know who play only play because they parent shoved their phone in the face to keep them occupied. Now they just get the hand-me-down devices. Oddly enough, even though my little siblings all have their own Tablets, they actually realize that the better gaming experiences are on their 3DS. The reason why they play on the tablet is because they simply can get free games, even if they aren't good. That, in itself, is a bigger problem for the industry than anything else.

Rumors are claiming both NVidia and AMD and both weaker and stronger chipsets both using x86 and not. No one is consistent which means we should honestly ignore all of it

@Jamotello I really hope Nintendo gives Shin'En some officially sanctioned work. I really don't think it would take much to make them a 2nd party developer at this point. I mean, they kinda are already exclusive. They can do really good stuff with an incredibly small budget. Would be great to see them go at it with a decent sized pool of funds to pull from.

Kinda hope it shows up in the My Nintendo rewards. My assumption is that nothing good will be added before my coins begin to expire. Seriously... a 6 month limit is kinda stupid considering the crap rewards so far.

Keep in mind that the email actually is about Darkrai, so if you are not paying attention, you might have actually trashed that email without looking inside.

The numbers in the end can still be substituted for anything and yet the review will still hold merit in the written section. You can easily tell by the text what the opinion of the reviewer is so the number/letter system can just muddy it even more. Why be at odds with the numbers?

GameXplain does it just fine without numbers, and places like Eurogamer can review it just fine without an arbitrary number system. They are not all important like you say. All that numbers serve to do is give people a easy route to judge a game with no context whatsoever. If they read the review, then they might understand why it was rated the way it was.

@123akis I prefer it on the big screen, but pick whatever platform you play most on. I find that unless you have a ton of empty space on the 3DS, that the required 9000 blocks can be pretty nasty. I know most base models barely have more than that. My little sister had a Mario Kart 7 DS and she couldn't even fit 9000 blocks on top of Mario Kart.

Runbow though is a nice addition. I played the demo but never picked it up afterwards. I also heard that S&S2 is pretty good.

13 bucks was more than worth it for several of those by itself.

Pokemon World Tournament was awesome. Combine that with a "Delta episode" and Legendary catching spree and those would be a perfect endgame. The next "Delta Episode" could even involve going to other regions for all I care. But the PWT covers the awesomeness that is fighting EVERY other gym leader and champion from every region. This needs to be a thing again.

The discounts are next to worthless for me. I'd rather them either just give a free small title away or give a flat percent of of any purchase. That'd be more enticing. It's what the Deluxe Digital Promotion did. 5 bucks off any purchase after you hit a certain limit. This just seems like a step back. Plus the points expire in six months so... yeah... A lot of my points are just gonna be wasted

Why... Why mobile? Even I Am Setsuna (essentially a Chrono Trigger sequel) is getting released on a proper gaming system. I just can't imagine they'll play well, considering most phone ports I've played feel terrible

So... say I own the disc version already. Would my save from that work on this version since it still utilizes Wii mode?

You'd think Nintendo would be able to countersue for defamation or whatever, but then again I'm not sure how the Japanese legal system works so I'm not sure if they actually can do that. It happens all of the time in the US.

Nintendo really has nothing to lose at this point so I can only expect they'll go as big as possible. However, Nintendo has made blunders at critical times before so I temper my anticipation and expectations quite hardily. I do expect Nintendo will return to form with the NX though. Whether they deliver on the smartphone front... I can't say. I'd hedge a bet on the 'no' side.

Ick. This is the kind of special edition I hate. The contents here are something that can easily be obtained on the internet so I will pass. The CD is about the only thing that could be appealing but they only do a sample soundtrack. Why not do the entire thing? And stickers? Of all things...

I would love for Bravely to be the next FF and making the jump to a console could help. Maybe go the DQ11 route and make it both handheld and console for Nintendo

Bravely just hits all the right notes for me. Literally the only complaint I have about Second is the music is not nearly as good as the first.

It had a lot of promise but was tragically un-utilized. I'm actually surprised that people still think it's "hefty". Pretty sure it's lighter than my N3DSXL

@meh1234 why does it need to be a romantic relationship? Only one game in the entire series has Link and Zelda as such. I only brought it up because of Nintendo and fans are so intent on making Link a woman, then they should be equally as intent to make Zelda a man too. However, that's not good enough for people. Can't have a woman be replaced by a man, now can we?

Seems kinda pointless to have a female Link, especially when we don't have gender bends of literally any other character. Unless Zelda becomes PRINCE Zelden when you choose Linkle, I don't want it. Voice acting is cool I guess. I'm glad they'll keep Link silent though

The competitive scene changes their mind on a daily basis. Remember when Little Mac was considered OP? They didn't even need him for people to realize he is trash weeks later. People complained about Corrin too and he/she is still fine. Also, I recall Mewtwo being terrible and now that he won one tourney, people are calling him Pay2Win. Smash players are fickle.

The only one here I care about is the My Nintendo points support. I really hope it works like Miitomo, where there are missions in every game to do to unlock Platinum points. It would be the perfect Nintendo Way to implement a trophy system of sorts on the system.

I like the potential of My Nintendo. I really hope they keep the missions going as their own version of achievements/trophies. Every game starting on the NX should have missions IMO. Its a fantastic way to introduce the system on other platforms but with a perk added. However, that's just for the Platinum points. As for the Gold points, I don't care because I buy almost everything physical.

As for Miitomo, I think its a waste. There is absolutely no way it will take off because of how limited its scope is.

I don't see how anyone could get more than 100 to be honest. You'd have to have a LOT (like thousands upon thousands) of Nintendo only friends on social media and get lucky that they also got miitomo.

It's not surprising. I highly doubt Pokemon Company would willingly sabotage their own handheld games by having a full version on mobile. This was always gonna be something different and when Niantic came on board, it should have been even more evident that this was going to be more Ingress than Pokemon

With that being said, I had a lot of interest in Ingress. Just that at the time I found out about it, I only had a ipod and no way to play it without being hooked up to wifi. Plus, at least with Pokemon, I automatically have a few friends that wouldn't mind taking a trip or two for some events. As long as we aren't expecting a full Pokemon game (which I'm not), then it should not be a big deal

And why wouldn't they show better pictures from more angles? Oh right, because its a fake mockup. With 3d printing so readily available, it wouldn't be outside the range of possibility to do this. There's no clear shot of the top, back or even it being actively used.

I don't want digital only just because of storage space. Even with a 1TB HDD on my PC, I have more than enough games to fill it up. My 500gb HDD on both my Wii U and PS4 are at capacity.

With game sizes growing larger and larger and DLC/patches being a regular thing at large sizes themselves, it's hard to keep enough space. At least with a retail copy, I don't need to delete 25gb worth of space and wait for the download. It's just plug and play. Plus, my 25mb/s internet is not friendly with large downloads

I don't know why games should be made that autoplay themselves. Whats the point? Are people really that incapable of any sort of difficulty? So what if a player struggles. It's the only way they'll get good.

Possibly also Pokemon. Started replaying Black 2 in hopes that I can transfer a second set of that generation's Pokemon to the Bank in preparation for SuMo.

I will definitely get this soon, however, I'm ordering a new video card tomorrow and I just preordered 2 PSN titles and I have Pokken Tournament and 2 amiibo releasing this Friday so it'll have to wait a couple weeks.

It wouldn't surprise me if they simply remade Sonic 1 with the Sonic Generations engine. Kinda seems like an easy project to celebrate his history and its a shoe-in for easy sales.
