Idk. Saying GF can't defend their choices and have to just shut up and deal with it is childish as well. Kamiya is downright offensive on Twitter towards his vile trolls and I don't see as many upset about that. Same with the Tekken people with their Smash requests. Fans are abhorrently entitled to say what they want but not have anyone counter them

@AlexSora89 My Pokemon still exist. They will continue to exist. Gamefreak hasn't erased them.

The whole National Dex stuff is a gross overreaction all around. The game will be just fine and probably sell just as well but in the end, the people who've spent years to make this game are the only ones that lose because people don't realize the impact their words have on others, especially when there aren't faces and voices they have to see.

Why the multiple paragraphs on just slamming CoC because of Lovecraft? As a person intimately familiar with the tabletop game (I Keeper for it) it's barely associated with Lovecraft. Sandy Petersen rewrote most of the theme for his own view. You can parrot racism and stuff like that but none of that is even present in the RPGs.

The only hardware problems I had that were not self-inflicted were the NES cartridge read error. my N64 had broken controller sticks which were abuse caused from Mario party. My GCN had a disc read problem that was caused when my cousin pulled a disc out without hitting the release and it shattered and shards flew into the lens. My scratched DS was all caused by overuse but it did have one dead pixel so...

The switch I do have one Joy con that had that connectivity issue from launch and that's all.

It is such a quick glimpse at the window and it doesn't actually line up to the Smash pattern. It's just coincidence. It would be another matter entirely if there was a focus on it or something

I mean... I guess in theory they could have painstakingly redone all of the animations on Switch to match the 3DS ones. I don't believe for a minute this was the case, but considering all of their models were just updated on the 3DS to be viewed at 4k only for them to redo them all for Switch (or so they say), it's possible they just did something stupid like that.

Had my girlfriend look at it and tell me what she saw. She described Rayman, down to the purple hoodie and everything. She doesn't know who Rayman is either. That crystal has no other colors like that in any other location there. Come on, it even has the hoodie shape there too

Definitely enjoying it. I felt a little lost right off the bat and felt like I was missing some nuances, but that was because I got some ridiculously complicated cards from the gacha that I tried to use right away.

Diablo 3. I'm a little late to the game but I'm enjoying it. I played it when it originally came out and disliked it and then had my Battle.net account hacked and lost the account. I'm long overdue

I got a kick out of SR4 and liked the superpowers aspect, and heard 3 was way better. So maybe I'll jump in?

This are usually pretty easily manipulated. It's kinda like GameFAQs and their polls which have the same person voting for the result they want a few hundred times.

@IHateTombs how many games even use it? I think in all the time I've owned my PS4, I only recall one game ever using it. Kinda like using that touchpad.

@Snow-Dust warp pipes cannot just materialize. And Mario still travels through the warp pipe normally as evident by Super Mario 3D World so he's still vulnerable. Link still takes time to warp, via Sheikah Slate or Ocarina. It's not instant.

PSP was just an thief's paradise and the Vita had shoddy support from day one. Sony just doesn't have the means to support it by themselves like Nintendo does. Hope this means that the few good games that those handhelds did get start to shift to Switch. I would like to see stuff like Soul Sacrifice and Patapon on Nintendo.

Basically it's about as good as the main game. The open environments and side quests were NOT a positive for that game. But then they went the opposite route in almost every way for this and ended up being about the same quality

I will never cease to be amazed at how condescending and elitist people here are regarding Pokemon Let's Go. I'm a veteran trainer since Gen 1 and the series is definitely not an easy one to get into. Ive seen people in their 30s not understand basic concepts of the battle system band kids not understand EVs and IVs. Removing them to allow even more people to play a offshoot title is fine. Just accept that this game isn't made for you and move on if it bothers you so much and wait for next year

All the Final Fantasy and Animal Crossing! I will certainly rebuy FFIX for like... The 9th time. Plus Chocobos Dungeon was one of my favorite Wii games. If you like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and FF, then there's no reason to skip it

I really hope their upcoming Gloomhaven adaptation is coming to Switch as well

I played the first bit of this on my phone when it came out and I actually liked it more than the full FFXV... Visuals aside. Just thought combat worked better. Hopefully it does well enough to have SE support the system more with their RPGs

Seems like according to the ToS, you kinda allow them to. Even if it's vague, it doesn't sound entirely misleading. I mean, i dont expect them to tell everyone how they look for cheating. If you hit agree with verbage like that, then too bad? You can always object to it and just not play the game. You don't always get to do what you want AND get all the things you want.

@Tulio517 let's Go was already supposed to be an easy entry into the series, plus the original gen 1 didn't have held items. Kinda makes sense in a way to me.

@JasmineDragon kinda? I k ow the first game allowed you to build up an event deck and when you cleared certain events, new events would crop up to clear and unlock more to add to your deck. In theory, you could try to add only easier events to not die but would not have a whole lot of equipment or food and would still be stuck with some preset buggers for the particular level you were attempting. I would assume that system carried over into this one (I only completed the tutorial so I can't say for sure)

If this didn't release the same damn week as Octopath, I'd probably buy it. Sadly, it will probably have to wait for a month or two

Loved the first one, but it was reeeeeally hard. Hopefully this one balanced out things more. I hadn't really realized there was a sequel...

@Anguspuss As far as I know it isn't. I played the original Mushroom Wars on the PS3 and it had the same system in place.

Cant you do that with pro controller controls (or in handheld) Just aim the gyro slightly and hit A? I get that some people might be inconvenienced due to disabilities, but the rest are just throwing a fit. Its just a side game. Besides, you have to realize the harsh reality that maybe not every game is catered specifically to you. I really think most of the complaints aren't leveled at the motion controls but more of the Go mechanics themselves and how people lost their precious "wild pokemon battles" which didn't really add anything to the experience other than draining your PP and time.

Besides, there were so many other games that had slight motion of gesture based controls that I never heard anyone complain about, even on other systems. Its kinda ridiculous.

They should take the opportunity to completely overhaul character movesets then. Too many characters play identical and are very unbalanced. They could rework characters and make it far more competitive over time.

I played the living hell out of TQ and Immortal Throne on PC years back. Thought it to be a great substitute for Diablo. I will try to convince myself to not buy it for a third time
