Switch Lite will be an excellent portable option for many, but some of us here at Nintendo Life already need special aids to use the system comfortably on-the-go - anything smaller would send us into spasms of digital discomfort.

How the hell did you people manage with the 3DS or Gameboy?

I mean, of course they play the games like Mass Effect, PvZ, Command and Conquer, Need for Speed, Burnout....on other platforms.

Because they aint on Switch to give people the option.

That's even more half-assed than giving people Mass Effect 3 for full price with the Trilogy just out for less elsewhere and saying "Why didn't you buy it?"

I also believe an interview with the team a while ago said the same thing. This is the same situation as Bayonetta being a SEGA IP or Wonderful 101 being a Nintendo one.

Atlus HAS dropped the 3DS, but they HAVENT done the second part of your claim, move to the Switch in any meaningful way, certainly not in line with the other previous 3DS publishers.

@Damo No, but they aren't exactly releasing anything on Switch either. Persona 5 Scramble is a Koei Tecmo game, and SMTV is....er….2020? If we are being lucky?

So yes, all the major publishers HAVE dropped the 3DS. No it's not for the Switch.

I recall EA said Frostbite wouldn't work on Switch, and then a developer said they hadn't even tried.

Then again after hearing about how Frostbite was made by DICE to do ONE THING and it got spread out to do more than that with multiple studios that it wasn't designed to do, perhaps it really wont work.

Point is, no one seems interested to even try. More shocking, is new engines like IdTech 7 are designed FOR Switch, so evidently someone in some companies knows whats up.

But then look at Activision. They didn't know or even consider Crash until ONE GUY did it himself.

@apoqalypse It's not free speech, its revealing trade secrets, and there is no need for a contract. Free speech covers opinion and freedom of expression, not spurting out imminent information.

Plus, you can bet this same order will be or has been applied to the people giving these mouthoieces info.

I mean it's the same game, but they are weirdly dismissive of the Switch version in this.

Also talking like that version came later, as it is "Downgraded" rather than PC being "Upgraded".

And how about that upcoming Yoshi game?

So EA went from:

"We will base future games on the sales of FIFA 18"
"We will base future games on the demand for the Switch after one full year"
"We will base demand on how FIFA 19 sells"
"FIFA 19 is an updated game that runs better and is feature complete"
"It's not feature complete, sorry"
"We expect Switch to have sold X amount by the end of the year"
"FIFA 20 is FIFA 19 with up to date team listings."

Neeeever gonna happen. The only Western support Switch gets is mid tier titles from the larger publishers and and everything from mid tier ones.

And sometimes not even that...

Regarding your statement, the sell through was up, but shipments to retailers were down.

Which means retailers ordered enough over Q4 to civer a lot of Q1 stock.

It'd be cool to stand out from the competition by giving MyNintendo points as rewards for achievements instead of meaningless fluff.

I had to redownload most of my 75 game library. Thankfully it was only 60 or so.

@MoonKnight7 I haven't been replaying Ninja Gaiden since the Wii...I never bought it.

Though it would be nice to see them do some things akin to what they did on 3DS and Wii U: Give us games we never got initially. For instance Earthbound and Mega Man 6 in the EU weren't available until 2013.

I mean...if people didnt know this was going to happen I'd have to ask if they knew any recently released NES games.

Coz ya know...hasnt been many of those made lately so of course its finite.

This guy is right. Because its what Nintendo in PR has stated the point of the device is. Same as people got an idea about LABO despite Nintendo saying otherwise and low and behold, Nintendo was right.

Given certain YouTubers already have codes and are playing the game, at least that's what they say to explain it, is it possible they leaked the game themselves? Especially since some of them follow the hacking scene a little too close for comfort.

I specifically said it was in eShop discounts. But regardless that's still £20000 they aren't making from eShop purchases, but is probably subsidised by the volume of subscriptions they have to play Tetris 99 in the first place.
