Launching on Nintendo Switch next month is BDSM: Big Drunk Satanic Massacre, a twin-stick shooter whose name might result in the odd double-take or two when it pops up on the eShop.
Luckily, the content found within isn't what you might have initially thought, instead focusing on Satan, murder, and Hell. So that's all right, then. It's actually structured as a satirical action-RPG; you'll play as Satan's son, Lou, as he battles against humankind's invasion of Hell. A new trailer has been shared (see above) to showcase some of the bosses Lou will have to blast through, so make sure to check it out to see the game in action.
Here's a feature list to tell you a little more:
Features of BDSM: Big Drunk Satanic Massacre include:
● A hilarious story feating Lou, Satan’s son, as he attempts to save Hell! Defeat those meddlesome humans who’ve invaded the fiery pit, and send those mega-corporation stooges back to earth while you’re at it!
● Explore spectacular locations, destroy everything in them while you battle epic bosses and relentless minion hordes
● Guns, gore...and milk all take center stage as Lou’s implements of destruction
● Save the demoness, save the (hell)world — those evil mega-corp fiends have captured your friend so show them what “giving ‘em hell” really means
The game's scheduled to launch on Switch on 10th October, but pricing is still to be revealed at the time of writing.

Can't say I like the look or I'm tempted... Or even appreciated the joke. I might not be the target audience though.
Exactly what @Kalmaro said, but the complete opposite. Day 1 for me.
PS: Anyone else getting huge Loaded vibes out of it?
Lust for Darkness released, Agony long announced... but BDSM on Switch? Inconceivable!
@Shiryu Here's hoping you get you're money's worth!
For a game i've never heard of i'm quite intrigued. Will definitely keep an eye on it now.
if it ever gets a sequel it better be titled DSBM, i swear to god
uuugh another twin stick shooter. Premise looks terrible.
To be fair, we had Pokémon S&M on the 3DS 😉
@DockEllisD By a lot! BDSM with a trusted partner can be a perfectly reasonable and enjoyable experience between two consenting adults.
But this is a video game. Violence is okay, but sexual anything is PURE INCOMPARABLE EVIL THE LIKES OF WHICH WE CANNOT TOLERATE!

It's NOT what we think?
Dammit.
If anyone is afraid of boobies, don't watch the suggested vids at the end
This game looks funny.
Umm, the Black Overlord boss may be what you originally thought. lol
I have no interest in the game, bud I did get a chuckle out of his announcement screen and animation. Even his weapon is phallic. Ha
Weeeeelll... there is a certain club in Saint's Row 3 that might want a word...
You do remember we have Saints Row and Bayonetta on Switch?
We already had Pokémon S&M, then Ultra S&M so any thing is possible.
If that's the actual soundtrack I'm all in! That was banging!
(target audience confirmed)
That music though..
Luckily or unluckily?
Saying "luckily the name is not what you initially thought" is kind of offensive to people that like "what they initially thought." Whatever someone is into, as long as it's not illegal, should not be shamed like that. It's like if a game was called "Gay and proud" (I know that's not "what people are into", shut up all you SJWs!) and someone says "Luckily, gay means happy here."
No thanks it's a pass for me
@Whyita Actually, as someone who isn't straight, I can tell you definitively that being gay, lesbian, bi, pan, demi or otherwise is "what people are into." So no worries there.
"I'm not into guys" or "I'm into guys and girls" is a pretty common way to say "I'm lesbian" or "I'm bi." Just because it's more nuanced and static than a simple decision that can be made doesn't mean it isn't a matter of tastes. It's literally your terms of attraction.
Anyway, big agree on the stigma-feeding language issue. First off, it's not a children's console first and foremost. It's for everyone. Second off, it's getting kinda tired seeing people bash on "impure" things like kink when there are games getting GLORIFIED over the variety of ways you can mutilate your enemies.
Game looks great, will definitely buy... Oh, it's a shmup? Even better!
Ugh, another kirby clone...
Seems like a fun-filled game with plenty jokes. If it ever goes on sale, I’ll get it just to have in my collection. But not big on twin-stick shooters.
now this is what i call a total crap game.
Actually I would have preferred playing as a dominatrix.
@ELRinley I just meant like people don't decide to be gay or straight or bi, they just are, but being a girl that's into girls myself, I see what you mean. But you got my point, which is to say just "innocent" words actually could be alienating and stigmatizing. It reminds me of one of my college courses about communication: it matters more how a message is received rather than what is actually said.
@Whyita Big agree, yeah... the phrasing here's pretty bad.
