@kobashi100 32GB cards already exist. Dragon Quest Heroes 1 + 2 in Japan comes on one 32GB card.

Given said sites used Nintendo and Mario imagery in their banners etc, basically appropriating a brand to advertise their own, what is by law a software piracy, website...Nintendo is in the right.

Don't steal branding. Especially when you use it to advertise something illegal.

I'm still curious how Nintendo is allowed to market these games given Sony has the exclusive marketing rights. Again,

@RyanSilberman Like they already are on PS4/Xbox One. The Trilogy is just a limited release thing for NA/Asia.

I think people are forgetting the thing we had last week was Europe focused. As in, Nintendo of America didn't mention it. It was Nintendo UK published and presented.

Pretty much the conclusion I came to when I did articles on this game a while ago, but with one notable difference.

I did mention that some of the ideas displayed would do wonders fully expanded in a sequel. Kind of a Sonic 1 going to Sonic 2 scenario.

That and I was able to give them loads of feedback for an upcoming patch (On PC at least).

Maybe it comes to Switch? I'll need to ask them.

@chemical Yeah it is, but it's a known fact with these service based games, you won't have time for all of them, so whats the point trying to muscle in on a market?

It's like, yeah you could play our MMO instead, but you've already got one and don't have time for two MMOs, Fortnite, Rocket League, Overwatch and numerous other service based titles that keep wanting you to come back.

It's a losing battle and they are wise to not jump in.

And tbh, who has time for ANOTHER MMO? Look at all the ones that came out after WoW. Dead now.

Perfectly understandable. There are some games that just wont work with certain interfaces and a full scale PC RTS that has you flying across a keyboard isnt going to work.

One thing this article didn't mention is those sites quite bluntly used copyrighted images all over to advertise. I mean the banner image was freaking Mario sprites.

The frame drops at points in the trailer highlight when they change from PS4 to Switch footage. Heck it's blunt as all get out. Gross.

Coming to Xbox and Switch at a later date than PS4 apparently, and on Switch at inflated price.

So it's an okay late port, having been released pre-Switch, but it's then a delayed remaster on Switch at an inflated price compared to the PS4 version.

So....no thanks.

This is the game releasing in September alongside the other notable release: the online service that they as a business would obviously expect us to buy.

Now if I said the online service was bad or overpriced then sure id be bashing it. But ive kept and will keep my opinion of that seperate

Then the Switch version of Ys VIII became the best selling version in the west.

So er...may need to rethink that strategy lads.
