Re: Look, Capcom Knows You Really Want Monster Hunter World On Switch

@Rika_Yoshitake That sounds dope if it includes a new region, although it would be more like World Ultimate than a sequel. Capcom are definitely on top of the ball when it comes to updates, but the portable MH team's last game was launched around the Switch and ported to it late last year. So, probably expect something new from them also featuring the monsters from the New World.

Re: Nintendo Boasts Of Continued Third Party Support For Switch

I fail to see how writing the title like RED DEAD REDEMPTION GOOD LORD makes that game even relevant to this thread. Anyway, this statement is probably meaningless and just reemphasizing games like Mega Man 11 and Wolfenstein 2, maybe a couple more unannounced 7th gen ports. Red Dead 2 is not coming to the system, calm down.

Re: Editorial: Trying to Play Monster Hunter XX in Japanese on the Nintendo Switch

The grind would be most convenient on Switch but all of my best memories are from Tri and, now, the World beta — on consoles. 4th gen was fun for about 700 hour's between 4 and Cross, but it was never what I wanted from the series and felt like none of the monsters or areas actually mattered to each other. That and the binary shadows in Double Cross look weird on big screen.

So, hopefully Switch gets its own 5th gen Monster Hunter with either graphically reduced (like less geometry) or different maps and exclusive monsters that also release in whatever version is current on the other systems. If they make it cel shaded like Stories though, I might never play Monster Hunter on a Nintendo system again. So... hopefully they don't subvert the series' art style.

Re: Capcom Hosting Mega Man 30th Anniversary Livestream That "You Won't Want To Miss"

@Octane Konami also doesn't make enough video games to fill a show. I really don't see the support for the point you're making, a company simply not doing what they said they were going to do it a pretty extreme case. Moreover, there are more Mega Man games than almost every other gaming IP. It's literally one of the most populous gaming franchises. Another game is an inevitability, not a rarity.
