@Broosh couldn’t agree more. I used to work at a store just around the time before they started phasing out stuff like N64, PSone, GameCube, etc. it was really good at first but started to decline soon after. Still I was able to score some great finds, especially for PS2. Those days are long gone though as is my store. And had a preorder issue as well, I had Final Fantasy VII Remake deluxe edition preordered, and the stores in my area ended up being forced to close for the pandemic, which fine, I get that. What really made me angry though was when they eventually did reopen and I got a call saying they haven’t gotten their shipment of it and wasn’t sure if they would get any in. I kept my preorder in hopes because it was long sold out at this point, and found out they shipped closed store preorders to other stores in the country that could remain open… then they cancelled my preorder and kept my $5. I mean it’s $5 sure, but it’s the principle. Now the only time I ever shop at a GameStop is when I can rip them off, like how I traded in my PS5 two weeks ago towards a slim Spider-Man 2 bundle. Got it for about $30. They definitely lost money in this deal as they will likely be sitting on that PS5 for some time
I enjoy this game, but honestly I really just don’t understand how to play as a ghost. As a ghostbuster I have fun, but really don’t like when I’m the ghost
Finishing up Persona 5 Strikers as I’m at the last jail now. Been putting it off completing many of the requests, but I think I’m going to save the rest for post game. I started my journey with the Phantom Thieves in early-mid January and got through Royal and Tactica in that time. I’m sad my time with them is coming to an end. Debating if I should start SMT III Nocturne or TMS#FE on Switch afterward.
On my PS5 I finally got my copy of Persona 3 Reload. I was waiting for a discount on the Agis edition, which I got at a discounted $163 due to some damage on the box. Unfortunately it did damage the top corner spine of the art book but it isn’t THAT bad and I refused to pay $199 (now $250) for that collectors edition so I’m happy with what I got. I just started exploring Tartarus last night. I never finished 3 before, and while I picked up 3 Portable on Switch the last time it was on sale so I can play the FeMC route I wanted my first full play through to be Reload since P3P skips sequences and removes cutscenes.
Super Mario 64 just edges it out for me. It was the first fully 3D game I ever played as I didn’t have access to anything else besides NES and SNES. I remember that sense of wonder as I seamlessly ran around the hub area, and first jumping into the painting and punching goombas. I had experienced nothing like it, and haven’t had a game give me that feeling since. Also it has sentimental value to me as well as the N64 released just a month after I was critically mauled by a dog and almost lost use of my right hand. My parents got it for me both as a way to cope and as a form of physical therapy while my right arm healed
@Late I haven’t messed with the card game, I might have to check it out once I get my copy of the game back. I finished it in mid February and loaned it to a friend that I had been trying to introduce to the Persona franchise since P5 vanilla release as I knew he would enjoy it if he would just go in with an open mind. He is now about 3/4 through the game after finally getting through THAT part yesterday, if you know you know. I’m currently going through Strikers after finishing Tactica a couple weeks back. If you didn’t already plan on it I highly recommend playing Strikers after, it's a worthy sequel to P5
@Sabruka don’t worry I’m sure it will be patched in after about a month or two… if I remember correctly the same thing happened with Jedi Outcast and people complained enough to force them to patch it in. Unbelievable that they simply refuse to learn from their mistakes… I don’t invert my aim on FPS games, but I still feel your pain this is pretty much the bare minimum of accessibility.
@Spider-Kev that movie is criminally under appreciated. Did it match the source material? Absolutely not, but it was fun and honestly very creative. The new movie wasn’t bad, but felt very by the numbers. The original 90’s movie took risks and wasn’t afraid to do its own thing. It took a game series that, especially for the time, really had so little story to adapt in the first place. It probably would’ve done better if it wasn’t a Super Mario Bros movie. Felt the same way with Final Fantasy The Spirits Within. I actually quite enjoyed the movie. Not the best representation of a Final Fantasy movie and performed horribly as a result but I enjoyed it
@Astral-Grain I really wish Cold Steel 1 & 2 would get ported over to Switch. It makes no sense to have 3 & 4 as I’ve heard with the narrative structure you really have to start with the first one. I’ve been looking for a good jumping on point without having to console hop and having it be portable. I do still have a PSP and Vita, not even sure if they still work I know my PSP battery is swelled so I’d need to replace it not even sure is aftermarket PSP batteries are still made… but I wish we would just get the past games ported over I can’t imagine the ports would be difficult and more and more people are talking about the series but the older games are getting less accessible. Seems like an easy way for them to print money putting them in a single convenient place to play through the whole series
@Bobb @EarthboundBenjy I thought that was weird too, but read the linked article. This article appears to have misinformation. This has nothing to do with connection to servers. It’s not online embedded and the linked article even states that they can change the date and get it to work. The problem seems to be with the game not recognizing February 29th as a date but has nothing to do with connecting to the server
Well I guess that about solidifies my decision to upgrade… well played Atlus. Still wish I could buy the new scenario as dlc even if I only get like a $10 or so discount by doing so, assuming nothing else in the base game has really been changed. I got the steelbook launch edition so I’m not likely to sell my original even if this makes it obsolete
@Coalescence I’m hoping for those as well, but I’m not holding my breath for Beetle Adventure Racing. Being an EA game and requiring the VW Beetle license at that I just don’t see it happening. I really hope I’m wrong though as BAR was one of my favorite N64 games and possibly my absolute favorite racer on the console outside of Mario Kart 64. I’m probably just going to give in at this point and buy a cartridge online. I swore I owned it but can’t find it anywhere. It must have been one of those games I rented so much back in the day that my memory has tricked me into thinking I owned it. I do think Body Harvest has a chance to make it to NSO eventually. I’m pretty sure we got all the “important” games out of the way so I’m hoping we can get more of these lesser talked about hidden gems
Looking forward to digging into this game again. The N64 was truly a unique console that gave us some fun weird experiences. I’m hoping more of these N64 gems will come to Switch online. Sure it’s known for Mario 64, Zelda OoT, Star Fox 64 etc, but I want to see stuff like Body Harvest, Mischief Makers, Space Station Silicon Valley, Hybrid Heaven, Snowboard Kids, and especially Beetle Adventure Racing (which I know is a long shot due to licensing and EA but a man can dream) come to Switch Online. N64 was at its best when it was at its weirdest
Ok, the KotoR games are on the Switch, now the classic Battlefront games are coming. Most of the fan favorites are here. Now can we please get the Rogue Squadron trilogy??? These are my favorite Star Wars games and the ones I’ve been hoping for since the legacy games started getting ported. Also throw in Battle for Naboo while you are at it, it was a Rogue Squadron game in spirit
@illmatic20xx not trying to defend this practice or rereleasing these “complete editions” but Royal could not be simple dlc. It wasn’t just a new scenario tacked on, there were many changes made to mechanics, dungeon layouts, boss fights, confidants, the way some characters were handled specifically… etc. it went well beyond additional content that could be dlc. If they do as much with this as they did with Royal I’ll consider it, but I’m not particularly happy, would’ve much rather had a brand new game set in SMT V rather than getting an enhanced version even if it’s much improved the way Royal was for P5
@Cathalm I’m hopeful for the same. I thought P5R was fantastic and many of the tweaks and additions were great, though some changes over corrected like getting ammo back for guns after every fight. That was a bit op imo, but I digress, I really don’t want to have to buy SMT V again, but I would happily buy something more like SMT IV Apocalypse
As cool as this is, just like with the 3/4 scale Arcade 1up I can’t justify the price when the Cowabunga Collection exists. I already have the Star Wars and Golden Tee Arcade 1up machines and really want either the X-Men or Simpsons one. I know licensing is a thing but I do wish they would just make a cabinet with both those games, and throw the Turtles games in too considering they are all Konami games anyway. Fact is it’s not just cost that stops me but space as well. If I could get one cab that had those games together even if it cost more I would definitely consider it
@SwagaliciousJohnson @Rhum17 We all know the Zelda games are only a matter of time. Nintendo likes to hold these remasters/remakes back to fill the gap between new Zelda releases. I’m more interested in seeing Xenoblade Chronicles X get announced to be ported as that is not a guaranteed release
I’ve been saying for years the NES Remix games should come to Switch. Those games were fantastic and it’s not like it would take much effort to port them. Also as another poster commented above me we should get more Remix games. GB and/or GBC, SNES, GBA, even N64 and GCN, with the latter being more of a Switch 2 thing
@IceDomino ok I’ll explain football to you. Bunch of big 200+ pound guys run into each other attempting to either protect or knock down usually smaller man with ball and give each other concussions… there I think I summarized it fairly well lol
Some of these tread far closer to remaster than remake imo. Star Fox 64 3D is a remake? Really? I even have a hard time considering the Zelda 3DS games remakes. What makes those remakes but Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD are not? Both OoT 3D and MM 3D are just visually cleaned up a bit with minimal changes in mechanics. Heck if we are going by this list’s standards of what makes something a remake then Mario Kart 8 Deluxe certainly deserves a spot here as it has one of the most meaningful mechanics changes with returning the ability to hold two items at a time and bringing back proper battle mode.
Never played the original Tomb Raider games before. I’ve always been a Nintendo kid growing up and the GameCube/PS2/Xbox generation was the first gen that I was old enough to have a job and be able to buy all consoles. I went back and bought a few of the PSone games I missed out on like Legend of Dragoon, FF 7, 8, and 9 (though I already had the pc versions of 7 and 8) and various other jrpgs and some of Square’s more interesting games like Einheinder, but I never got the Tomb Raider games. One thing I’ve loved about Switch is how many of the classic PSone games I missed out on that are now playable here. Being able to see what all the fuss was about over Crash, Spyro, and now Tomb Raider. Hoping it’s a good conversion and that they go ahead with a second collection for the remaining games. I’ll be showing my support for this collection
@Aurumonado I heard the puzzles are different/reworked so those that played the originals won’t know the solutions from old play throughs. Not sure how accurate this is though
@Swooce it’s less about our standards being high and more about how Famitsu doesn’t know how to grade and critique games. They throw 9’s and 10’s out like they are nothing. Most games score at least in the mid 30’s from them so anything less is actually considered low by the standards they set. That said I think most of us have learned to take Famitsu scores with a large grain of salt at this point. Personally, as somebody who missed out on Trace Memory on the DS I can’t wait for my preordered copy to come in on Friday
It depends on several factors. Will compression techniques be as good as they are for the Switch, because Nintendo has great compression even when you look at multiplatform games the size differences are often extreme between a Switch version and even a PS/XBO version.
Another factor is will Switch 2, for lack of a better word, games be all digital? I’ve heard rumors that even if it has a cartridge reader that it will only be used for backward compatibility. If we are forced to buy all our games digitally we will need more on board storage.
And finally will physical games be forced to fully install as they do on PS and Xbox.
I would say low ball 256gb but if we are going to an all digital generation, or mandatory installs, or poor compression 1tb minimum would be necessary
I’ve had this preordered on my Amazon account for what feels like forever. The first one was one of my favorite PSP games. What is taking so long to port these??? I consider myself a fairly patient man but looking back this was announced April 2022 for a summer 2023 release and now delayed to Fall 2024… if these were new games I would understand it, but for some enhanced ports this seems like an unusually long development time. At this rate we may get the Switch successor before we get this game.
@twowingedangel “more people complain about Nintendo's Switch's performance problems (because in many cases, it's not the developers problem, it's the Nintendo Switch performance being older than Hyrule), the less games you Nintendo babies will get.”
This statement is simply not true. Yes the Switch is underpowered, even compared with previous gen it has less raw power to work with. We have also seen some truly outstanding ports. The hardware is not the problem. The problem is developers not taking the time to actually make the compromises necessary for the ports to run well. Perfect example is Hogwarts Legacy. That game had a great port from what I can tell. It was compromised by sectioning off the open world but the game runs surprisingly well. It took an additional 10 months for it to come but it’s at least a good port. This game practically runs off a mobile game engine. It has no excuse to run as poorly as it does, and the performance issues I was referring to was actually more based on the fact that the game still constantly crashes. My girlfriend has it on her Switch and she plays it every day. Often times it crashes at least 3 times in her play session. I’ve never seen such an unstable Switch game. I’m not saying it isn’t time for new hardware, but at the same time we should be letting developers get away with blaming “hardware limitation” for glorified mobile games not running well
It’s surprisingly decent so far. I was looking for a relaxing chill game to play and I refuse to give Disney/Gameloft any of my money for Dreamlight Valley with all the awful practices they have been doing (promising ftp then dropping it while doubling down on micro transactions, making free addition content that you are literally unable to progress in without paying for the new expansion pass, not fixing the broken performance on the Switch version) so this seems like a nice alternative
@Vyacheslav333 Thank you for mentioning Danganronpa Another Episode: Absolute Despair Girls. I honestly don’t understand why it was neglected from the collection. I might just take that survey to spread the word that we want this game to have the complete Danganronpa story
Downloading this asap! I missed out on the original Trace Memory but I’ve heard it was great. I preordered the physical copy of this as soon as it became available. I’m glad to get the chance to try it first though before actually buying it
Never liked Fortnite, don’t care at all for Battle Royale games. I did give it a fair shake when it launched on Switch, deleted it after 3-4 matches. My storage space is too valuable. That said I’m intrigued by Rocket Racing. I love Rocket League. Just kind of annoyed that it can’t just be stand alone
Nothing for me, going to continue playing through Fire Emblem Engage since I decided to restart it 2 weeks ago and really need to get back on TotK, only one dungeon down focusing mostly on side quests and adventures, and finally got my new house and need to make some more money to build it up. Also looking forward to my free copy of Asgard’s Wrath 2 on my Quest 3. Got plenty to occupy my time leading up to Christmas
@abbyhitter after the awful cringe and lame announcements I sat through this year that doesn’t fill me with much confidence. It feels like every year gets worse. They had one or two decent years but it is not a suitable replacement
Anybody know how robust the story mode is? The article seems to focus mostly on the online play. For anybody familiar with the previous release would this be worth getting for single player content? Or is this more of an online multiplayer game with a short single player campaign tacked on as an afterthought?
I would love to see a MK with a track builder option with a full suite of elements and themes, as well as robust hand crafted tracks. Think something like the criminally overlooked Modnation Racers on PlayStation, mixed with the ease of building from Mario Maker. Make it super easy to share creations online. I would love to see other Nintendo IP thrown in the mix to make a “Super Smash Kart” but realistically I see it sticking more with Mario and perhaps the occasional cameo like how we have Link and a Hyrule course, Blue Falcon kart and F-Zero courses, etc. but if it stays with a single IP I think the Mario Kart Maker option would be best
I love my Wii U. My original launch console crapped out on me last year and I had to get a replacement. Was able to get my account transferred and redownloaded everything. I hope this one lasts for years to come. I’m not leaving this one unplugged as I’ve heard that can cause the nand to corrupt, which I think is what happened to my original console. I still have it sitting around in hopes that one day the nand can be properly fixed/replaced as more and more people look into preserving the hardware finding solid fixes for this. Also I had no idea Game and Wario goes for so much money. I have a copy but never really got around to playing it much. Might pull that out this weekend and really give it a go
@ModdedInkling definitely agree on Sega CD and especially 32X games. I would like the chance to try Knuckles Chaotix finally and Star Wars Arcade. 64DD I can’t see anything really that would be worth the effort to emulate. The Mario Artist series would be useless on the Switch, don’t know how import friendly Doshin the Giant is. The F-Zero expansion to create courses would be cool, but what else really is there? I imagine even though it’s an add on to the N64 it would require a whole new emulator, can’t see that much effort going into emulation for it
@justin233 Beetle Adventure Racing was such a great N64 game back in the day! I could’ve swore I owned it but I can’t find it anywhere I must’ve rented it a lot back in the day. I would love for it to hit NSO but I have a feeling the license will prevent that from happening sadly. I wonder if it still holds up today. I’ll have to keep an eye out for picking it up at a good price
@-wc- Bangai-o was a fantastic game. Still have my Dreamcast copy and the DS version that I guess was a sort of sequel? I remember it being noticeably different from the DC version. That would be a nice import to get on the US NSO since the story is really inconsequential it should be pretty import friendly
@JohnnyMind @KingdomTears this has happened to me as well, I thought it was intentional. What I thought was happening was if got a purple coin, then got to a checkpoint then died it stay marked as collected but if I got a purple coin and died without getting a checkpoint then I still have to get it again. That was my understanding at least. Personally I don’t like the idea of the coin staying collected if you die because there are some coins that are put in a dangerous place that take some actual skill to get without dying, kinda takes a lot away from that if you can just grab it and die on the attempt and still keep it
@OctolingKing13 Odyssey is always worth it. Played it back when it released, and currently replaying it again and just was reminded of how incredibly fun the game is. Granted with how old the game is and how many copies are floating around you might be able to get lucky enough to get a used copy on eBay for less than the sale price perhaps
Not really seeing much that’s catching my eye that I don’t already own or is really worth going in on. I wanted to pull the trigger on Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection and I would have gone for that had I not just found the physical release (yes I know AC2 is the only game on the cartridge) for $1.00 cheaper as part of Best Buy’s early Black Friday deal and picking up my store pick up order once I get off work in an hour. I found it amusing that Borderlands Legendary edition, handsome collection, and game of the year edition are all $9.99… not sure what’s going on there but I already have the legendary edition from the last time it was dirt cheap. Might be interested in Baten Kaitos but it’s still kinda pricey since it’s new. I’m sure I can hold out for a better sale in the future
@Uncle_Franklin That’s my favorite track in all of Mario Kart. The only track I’ve been actively asking for. Love the dlc but can’t help being immensely disappointed as well
Really wish they would stop wasting resources on this game. I’m sure it has its fans but most of us could care less about it. The concept itself was just a bad idea from the start. How about we get some news on Tenkaichi 4/Sparking Neo/ Tenkaichi Neo or whatever they are choosing to call it. That’s what the fans really want. It’s been how many months since the initial teaser announcement?
@TDCinFL she spent her money but she is supposed to contribute towards the household as we live together and for the entirety of September and October she hasn’t given anything towards the bills and almost nothing towards groceries so I’ve been supporting the both of us on my pay alone. So yeah we had to have a talk to say the least… I told her this will not happen again I can’t afford it. So yeah I may have a bit of a personal grudge against this game and predatory games like this in general
Ghostbusters The Video Game Remastered is way too low on this list. I haven’t gotten to play Spirits Unleashed yet so I can’t say if it’s better than that or not but I remember when this game first came out it was hands down the best game ever offered in the franchise. So what if it’s not really much of a remaster the game already looked great when it first released. It’s still the same great game and should easily have been in the top 3
@sanderev it already has microtransactions. the only difference now is that you have to pay for the privilege to play a game that was always designed as ftp.

Xenoblade Chronicles X NEEDS to happen. If not in the current Switch then do it on the Switch successor. That game can’t be left to die on the Wii U

Also throw in Battle for Naboo while you are at it, it was a Rogue Squadron game in spirit
Re: Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Confirmed For Switch, Adds New Chapter & Storyline
Re: Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Has Been Rated In Korea
@Cathalm I’m hopeful for the same. I thought P5R was fantastic and many of the tweaks and additions were great, though some changes over corrected like getting ammo back for guns after every fight. That was a bit op imo, but I digress, I really don’t want to have to buy SMT V again, but I would happily buy something more like SMT IV Apocalypse
Re: Hands On: Quarter Arcades Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade Machine
As cool as this is, just like with the 3/4 scale Arcade 1up I can’t justify the price when the Cowabunga Collection exists. I already have the Star Wars and Golden Tee Arcade 1up machines and really want either the X-Men or Simpsons one. I know licensing is a thing but I do wish they would just make a cabinet with both those games, and throw the Turtles games in too considering they are all Konami games anyway. Fact is it’s not just cost that stops me but space as well. If I could get one cab that had those games together even if it cost more I would definitely consider it
Re: Soapbox: With Switch Online, It's The Perfect Time To Bring Back These Wii U Gems
Re: Soapbox: With Switch Online, It's The Perfect Time To Bring Back These Wii U Gems
Re: Every American Football Game On Nintendo Switch
@IceDomino ok I’ll explain football to you. Bunch of big 200+ pound guys run into each other attempting to either protect or knock down usually smaller man with ball and give each other concussions… there I think I summarized it fairly well lol
Re: Best Nintendo Remakes Of All Time, Ranked
Re: Nintendo Download: 8th February (North America)
Re: Nintendo Download: 25th January (North America)
I used to love Chip’s Challenge on my Atari Lynx way back when I was a kid. I’m tempted to pick this up
Re: Review: Another Code: Recollection (Switch) - A Welcome Return For A Pair Of Cult Classics
@Aurumonado I heard the puzzles are different/reworked so those that played the originals won’t know the solutions from old play throughs. Not sure how accurate this is though
Re: The First Review For Another Code: Recollection Is In
@Swooce it’s less about our standards being high and more about how Famitsu doesn’t know how to grade and critique games.
Re: Poll: How Much Internal Storage Would Be Reasonable For 'Switch 2'?
Re: Random: Miyamoto Made Shigesato Itoi Cry After 'Mother' Pitch
@Don Galaxy 1 & 2, Odyssey, and Wonder were all terrific and right up there with those classics.
Re: Granzella's R-Type Tactics I & II Remakes Are Coming To Switch In "Fall 2024"
Re: Review In Progress: Palia (Switch) - Is It Worth Playing At Launch?
I’m not saying it isn’t time for new hardware, but at the same time we should be letting developers get away with blaming “hardware limitation” for glorified mobile games not running well
Re: Review In Progress: Palia (Switch) - Is It Worth Playing At Launch?
It’s surprisingly decent so far. I was looking for a relaxing chill game to play and I refuse to give Disney/Gameloft any of my money for Dreamlight Valley with all the awful practices they have been doing (promising ftp then dropping it while doubling down on micro transactions, making free addition content that you are literally unable to progress in without paying for the new expansion pass, not fixing the broken performance on the Switch version) so this seems like a nice alternative
Re: Spike Chunsoft's Annual Survey Wants To Know More About Your Gaming Interests
@Vyacheslav333 Thank you for mentioning Danganronpa Another Episode: Absolute Despair Girls. I honestly don’t understand why it was neglected from the collection. I might just take that survey to spread the word that we want this game to have the complete Danganronpa story
Re: Nintendo Releases Switch eShop Demo For Another Code: Recollection
Downloading this asap! I missed out on the original Trace Memory but I’ve heard it was great. I preordered the physical copy of this as soon as it became available. I’m glad to get the chance to try it first though before actually buying it
Re: LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, Fornite Festival - Which Is Best? Everything You Need To Know
Never liked Fortnite, don’t care at all for Battle Royale games. I did give it a fair shake when it launched on Switch, deleted it after 3-4 matches. My storage space is too valuable. That said I’m intrigued by Rocket Racing. I love Rocket League. Just kind of annoyed that it can’t just be stand alone
Re: Nintendo Download: 14th December (North America)
Nothing for me, going to continue playing through Fire Emblem Engage since I decided to restart it 2 weeks ago and really need to get back on TotK, only one dungeon down focusing mostly on side quests and adventures, and finally got my new house and need to make some more money to build it up. Also looking forward to my free copy of Asgard’s Wrath 2 on my Quest 3. Got plenty to occupy my time leading up to Christmas
Re: E3 Has Been Cancelled, Permanently
@abbyhitter after the awful cringe and lame announcements I sat through this year that doesn’t fill me with much confidence. It feels like every year gets worse. They had one or two decent years but it is not a suitable replacement
Re: Megaton Musashi: Wired Gets New 2024 Release Date
Anybody know how robust the story mode is? The article seems to focus mostly on the online play. For anybody familiar with the previous release would this be worth getting for single player content? Or is this more of an online multiplayer game with a short single player campaign tacked on as an afterthought?
Re: Video: Where Does Mario Kart Go From Here?
Re: Feature: Why I Still Love My Wii U
I love my Wii U. My original launch console crapped out on me last year and I had to get a replacement. Was able to get my account transferred and redownloaded everything. I hope this one lasts for years to come. I’m not leaving this one unplugged as I’ve heard that can cause the nand to corrupt, which I think is what happened to my original console. I still have it sitting around in hopes that one day the nand can be properly fixed/replaced as more and more people look into preserving the hardware finding solid fixes for this. Also I had no idea Game and Wario goes for so much money. I have a copy but never really got around to playing it much. Might pull that out this weekend and really give it a go
Re: Nintendo Updates Switch Online's N64 Release Schedule
@ModdedInkling definitely agree on Sega CD and especially 32X games. I would like the chance to try Knuckles Chaotix finally and Star Wars Arcade. 64DD I can’t see anything really that would be worth the effort to emulate. The Mario Artist series would be useless on the Switch, don’t know how import friendly Doshin the Giant is. The F-Zero expansion to create courses would be cool, but what else really is there? I imagine even though it’s an add on to the N64 it would require a whole new emulator, can’t see that much effort going into emulation for it
Re: Nintendo Updates Switch Online's N64 Release Schedule
Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder Has Been Updated To Version 1.0.1, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
Personally I don’t like the idea of the coin staying collected if you die because there are some coins that are put in a dangerous place that take some actual skill to get without dying, kinda takes a lot away from that if you can just grab it and die on the attempt and still keep it
Re: Nintendo Of America Announces Cyber Deals eShop Sale, Up To 80% Off
@OctolingKing13 Odyssey is always worth it. Played it back when it released, and currently replaying it again and just was reminded of how incredibly fun the game is. Granted with how old the game is and how many copies are floating around you might be able to get lucky enough to get a used copy on eBay for less than the sale price perhaps
Re: Nintendo Of America Announces Cyber Deals eShop Sale, Up To 80% Off
@GalaxicGlobe I want to try that game but I’m concerned about how the performance is. If you end up picking it up please let me know if it’s worth it
Re: Nintendo Of America Announces Cyber Deals eShop Sale, Up To 80% Off
Not really seeing much that’s catching my eye that I don’t already own or is really worth going in on.
Re: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 6 Speeds Onto Switch Next Week
@Uncle_Franklin That’s my favorite track in all of Mario Kart. The only track I’ve been actively asking for. Love the dlc but can’t help being immensely disappointed as well
Re: Dragon Ball: The Breakers Season 4 Adds New Raider Broly & More November 1st
Re: Disney Dreamlight Valley Will No Longer Be Free-To-Play When It Leaves Early Access In December
Re: Best Ghostbusters Games On Nintendo Systems
Ghostbusters The Video Game Remastered is way too low on this list. I haven’t gotten to play Spirits Unleashed yet so I can’t say if it’s better than that or not but I remember when this game first came out it was hands down the best game ever offered in the franchise. So what if it’s not really much of a remaster the game already looked great when it first released. It’s still the same great game and should easily have been in the top 3
Re: Disney Dreamlight Valley Will No Longer Be Free-To-Play When It Leaves Early Access In December
@sanderev it already has microtransactions. the only difference now is that you have to pay for the privilege to play a game that was always designed as ftp.
