I think it's a shame that there are ***** who pirate games. Period... Folks work hard to make games why should you steal it from them?

Now as soon we'll get a bunch of replies saying but what if it's no longer available!?! Doesn't make it okay to steal it.

@premko1 it's sad my nephew falls for this crap quite often, I try to tell him to search the internet for a review, before he buys anything but he keeps getting scammed, he's not the brightest sometimes.

How can an retro style game have bad performance? Sounds like bad design.

@lechugajr that's the main reason I have not tried the new one, no grid kind of confuses me. Did they ever fix the performance issues?

I can't wait. I'm a sucker for the old FPS's and honestly many of the old classics are way better and more fun than the new ones.

I'm really enjoying this game. I love the march to October mode. Makes it much faster, and the gameplay is really fun!

Prior to this game, my fav was N64 all star 2001.

The image quality is pretty bad, but the gameplay is so good and well done.

@rjejr I really hope they don't charge full price... I'm still sore about having to buy Mario kart 8 again for the second time when I got the switch.

Needs online co-op, I will probably buy this this weekend, looks like a lot of fun.

I hope it sells really really well so maybe they will consider doing a DLC that ups the difficulty a bit.

Sounds like an interesting fun game, however this just makes me angry about hatch tails / chicken wiggle. That guy is a crook.

Five bucks to nothing says that they lost a lot of money on this deal because of the sheer number of Joy-Con control stick replacements they had to do. 😂

New Super Sonic U? I'm interested. This has tropical freeze and New Super Mario U feelings.

I am always so skeptical of Sega when it comes to Sonic, I really hope that this one is fully baked and a great game.

Are they going to go back to a 2D fighting game? 3D fighting games I'm just not a big fan of, I just don't understand the reason to want to make it with polygons, I think they should go the way of streets of rage 4 and make it incredibly beautiful hand-drawn artwork or if they really wanted to go back to the roots, do motion capture on crappy actors 😂

I still haven't bought this, I am still just so pissed at Sega how they can screw up anything they try to do, this kind of crap just drives me nuts it's been like a year since it was released and they still haven't fixed a lot of the bugs. Why? Because SEGA DOES NOT CARE ABOUT QUALITY. UGGGGGGG SO FRUSTRATING.

@EriXz you may be right, but I hope they don't do VR, it's a nitch thing... I really hope we don't turn into Ready player one.

Edit: I think they will do VR, but it should be an option. I don't think they should sacrifice specs of the soc to leave money for the cost of VR functions.

@Magician I'm right there with you. If they do a upgrade, I think it needs to be compatible with existing switch cart and software. I don't want a New and innovative way to play. No thanks. I really hope Nintendo resists the urge to make it innovative. Switch is good, but needs so much refinement.

@Gungner I agree if taking about composite or component thru a converter, but Using the digital out with the EEON GCHD Mk-II adapter then feed thru m-classic. Looks great on 92" 1080p projector. Amazing infact. It's super clear with no ghosting or artifacts. I encourage GCN users with a digital out to buy to the he gchd mk-II and the m classic.

He should contact a buddy at retro, instead of calling out in Twitter...

The hype is unreal for this game (definitely deserves it as I can't wait). Having said that, people will pay $70 so that's why they are charging $70. I do hope this does not become a trend though.

Yawn.... With the internet and the current instant gaming news cycle, there is no reason for E3.

If they allow mapping for dual analog while using the pro controller it will be great. If only option is two N64 controller dual analog control I will be disappointed. Also frame rate. If they fixed the frame rate and add a hack for dual analog control on apro controller this will be great.

Nintendo had lost there damn mind.

I'm still on the fence. I like the idea of this game and really like their turn around comeback story. But I'm weary of the hours required to play and the learning curve. Did you all find it hard to adjust?

@Noelemahc well, I am in the us, and in my opinion Nintendo life even though it is a uk-based site is still the best Nintendo gaming site currently on the web.

Done, but I am alarmed that Nintendo life has not asked me in all these years what type of content I would like to see what I think Nintendo life is doing right and wrong, and what would like to see more of, and what I would like to see less of..

There is a certain direction that the Kotaku and Nintendo life, and a bunch of the gaming websites are moving. And I don't like it, not one bit. But I don't know if Nintendo life wants to ask, the way websites hire has already shown that virtue signaling is more important than gaming content.

Having said that, I still think that Nintendo life is my favorite site for gaming content.

I think they should drop down N64 and Genesis to the base tier.

Then add GameCube GB GBC GBA to the expansion pass along with a permanent discount on eShop titles and DLC.

Also add a new super Mario 35 ( except a new version with 99 and new levels added. )

Is he talking about building on an updating the current game? Or is he talking about the next game they need to fix what's broken in the first game first.

Miyamoto has made some of the best games, and has entertain me for countless hours.

But...

Every time I hear him talk about new experiences or innovative experiences, all I can think of is we music and Star Fox zero, I'm fine with new experiences as long as they don't stretch into miyamoto's "new way to play" innovation strategy, it worked one time for Wii and it worked for the DS because touch screens were novel at the time, but I am a firm believer in sticking with what works in the form of a controller, and in fact I wish they would bring back some of the more innovative items on the controller like analog triggers on the pro controller.

and why not both?
