Re: Bethesda Releases Skyrim Switch 2 Patch Addressing Input Latency Issues

@OrtadragoonX So here's my question, if it's such a horrible engine and all these things, why don't they just remake it? All they'd have to do is reuse the assets? This game has made them money hand over fist, you think they would be happy to have a proper remake and have something they can be proud of, but no, they're trying to squeeze every last dollar out of that game

It's just insane that they release games like this, they should be ashamed of themselves, I certainly hope that one day these mega ga giant corporations like Bethesda get broken up and have individual studios again, it's just freaking ridiculous how much money they spend on trying to make a game and then it ends up sucking and then you take a 10-year-old game and try to put it on a new console and I could run it better on my toaster! I can only imagine the bureaucratic nightmare that accompany that big must be. There must be so many middle managers and so many different people getting in the way of a good product, think of all the millions of dollars wasted on payroll for people that literally their job is to screw up games... Lol. Instead of letting the developers make a good game.

Re: GRID Legends: Deluxe Edition Is Racing Onto Switch 2 In Early 2026

@JayJ I'm curious to play this game, I have need for speed for the switch, and I also have burnout Paradise, both games are very good games, and I do like both, however need for speed automobiles feel heavy as hell, and burnout. Of course all the cars feel light as a feather, how does grid stack up on this? Do the cars fill super heavy and cumbersome? I would love to find a game that is somewhere in between burnout Paradise and need for speed, every time I play. Need for speed. I end up enjoying myself, but it still feels like my car is stuck in molasse.

Regarding Mario Kart.

"The dismissiveness seems to come from people who aren't aware of the high skill ceiling and depth of gameplay."

I'm aware but the tracks are sub-par compared to MK 8. They feel way too wide and the open world is way too devoid of things to do. I was absolutely gobsmacked that we didn't get an update for DK Bonanza release to MKW... It's like Nintendo is just being stubborn.... also I want a 4k update for MK8 but.... You know they will not do it because MKW!

"Mario Kart World features a new, seamless world with interconnected courses"

With every racing franchise I'm aware of, the open world version always has worse tracks than the non open world. I really hope they fix MKW as it's wonderful except for the lame course design.

And I kind of remembered why I got annoyed at this game. The stupid spiders are annoying, and how the hell are you supposed to know where you're supposed to go? Confusing as hell with a stupid key cards and such. Yes I know the old Boomer shooters have that, and they made them like labyrinths, but this day and age there's no reason to do that part of the game to make it a boomer shooter.

Re: Nintendo Direct September 2025: Every Announcement, Game Reveal, Trailer

Danrenfroe2016

Really digging the resident evil. I am downright dismayed at having Bonanza DLC, expensive DLC, no free update? Why so expensive and why so soon? Also No Mario kart world updates? Mario kart world has so far not proved to be a better game than Mario kart 8, and it's definitely not worth it as an $80 game, are they just trying to piss the customers off? Nintendo just comes off as snooty and greedy right now... I do like that Mario Galaxy 2 is coming out finally, but I'm kind of pissed that they didn't announce Mario Galaxy 3 for sometime in 2026, that would be brilliant.

Re: UK Charts: Mario Kart World Takes The Lead While Cronos Sees Weak Sales On Switch 2

Danrenfroe2016

Nintendo really screwed up with the cartridge design and decisions this go around, if what we're hearing is true the switch to cartridges are relatively slow, And that's why some companies are using the key card method, if Nintendo is smart about this they would have gotten rid of the key card, and left a block on the internal memory for a rather large cash file, so that games could prefetch assets from the card prior to them being needed by the game....

Physical percent sales are just horrible for Nintendo because of these damn key cards
