I'm really curious to see if this will fix the sales problem of this game.

I play these quite often, I'm really hoping they will add 4K soon for the switch 2. So turok both one and two play so amazingly well.

@vio I agree. Devs make games for the new "modern audience" while simultaneously abandoning the base core gamers which make up 95% of the buyers... I need to make a return to the '90s and early 2000s...

It's this like a paid advertisement from Nintendo to IGN? I'm so disappointed in MKW. MK 8 it's still much better.

@AlleyCat they like money. They will. I was so disappointed in the physical, it's a code in a box. Yuck.

@nmanifold It's funny. I use game chat about 40% of the time as me and my sister live in different cities and play games concurrently... Game chat is so much better than the phone.

@rvcolem1 not much... This game has been criticized due to its story, which some find to be forced diversity. While the gameplay is generally considered good, it has not performed well commercially, especially in Japan, where it was met with significant criticism.

It looks like they already have the DLC add-on for what you're talking about. I think I'm going to buy the triple pack as well and buy this add-on kit

Regarding Mario Kart.

I'm aware but the tracks are sub-par compared to MK 8. They feel way too wide and the open world is way too devoid of things to do. I was absolutely gobsmacked that we didn't get an update for DK Bonanza release to MKW... It's like Nintendo is just being stubborn.... also I want a 4k update for MK8 but.... You know they will not do it because MKW!

With every racing franchise I'm aware of, the open world version always has worse tracks than the non open world. I really hope they fix MKW as it's wonderful except for the lame course design.

@Shiryu The whole character design of her is not good, I would much rather have a non realistic character in line with astral chain or other "pretty" character styles. I don't understand the current push to make all characters ugly or "normal" looking

And I kind of remembered why I got annoyed at this game. The stupid spiders are annoying, and how the hell are you supposed to know where you're supposed to go? Confusing as hell with a stupid key cards and such. Yes I know the old Boomer shooters have that, and they made them like labyrinths, but this day and age there's no reason to do that part of the game to make it a boomer shooter.

@purple_shyguy okay I just tried it It works wonderfully, it says in the upper left hand corner when done during gameplay Max frames per second 99.

And it's smooth as butter now, wow still kind of blows my mind that this game was so unoptimized that it couldn't run at 60 frames per second on the original switch.

@RiasGremory I respectfully disagree, $70 for old games? It should have been $40, and $20 for each.

I'm actually impressed how many games with in this short of a time period have been made compatible. I'm very pleased with the improvement in performance the NSW2 deals out to these older games. Extremely impressive.

I will eventually purchase physical, but I'm still pissed about the price. Nintendo is not right with the pricing on this one.

Bowser was / is terrible, he is from EA. Glad he is gone. But the new one I've never heard of.

Nintendo has turned into greedy *****. This really saddens me, I was looking forward to buying this for $40 for both games... $70? Wtf.

And they should add Super Mario Galaxy 2 as an update for 3D All-Stars for $20.

Really digging the resident evil. I am downright dismayed at having Bonanza DLC, expensive DLC, no free update? Why so expensive and why so soon? Also No Mario kart world updates? Mario kart world has so far not proved to be a better game than Mario kart 8, and it's definitely not worth it as an $80 game, are they just trying to piss the customers off? Nintendo just comes off as snooty and greedy right now... I do like that Mario Galaxy 2 is coming out finally, but I'm kind of pissed that they didn't announce Mario Galaxy 3 for sometime in 2026, that would be brilliant.

I was thinking maybe a turok revival? But I guess no.

Nintendo really screwed up with the cartridge design and decisions this go around, if what we're hearing is true the switch to cartridges are relatively slow, And that's why some companies are using the key card method, if Nintendo is smart about this they would have gotten rid of the key card, and left a block on the internal memory for a rather large cash file, so that games could prefetch assets from the card prior to them being needed by the game....

Physical percent sales are just horrible for Nintendo because of these damn key cards

Yeah not going to buy it not going to play it, this reminds me of the ill fated Star Fox zero. I was so excited for a new Star Fox I purchased it day one, and I really really tried to like it, and I just didn't like it because of the stupid controls...

Wow... A lot of folks are saying they prefer this to Mario kart world. And I kind of get it, Mario kart's worlds tracks are so wide there is very little actual karting involved.

Yeah this looks like I might get it basically for when my wife wants to watch something else on TV and I'm playing a game and using game chat.

Okay so my second question If I buy Madden 2025, will I be able to play this game and say 2030? 2028? Or will they make me buy the new game because they turned off 2025 online servers?

And how come he did not mention the stuttering I just watched another video and it stutters like hell. I don't get how this reviewer just glosses over that fact

How can you rate this an 8? I've seen several videos on YouTube, and the game stutters rhythmically every time there's a camera change or pretty much anything happening? That is unacceptable, who wants to play that way and why would you give it an 8 in this condition?

@IceClimbers I have faith in night dive studios to update it, also I think they will update quake, Doom I+II and turok 1 2 and 3. I would love to see it support higher resolution, 1080p looks great, but it would clean up the edges a lot to run it at 4K.

@AmplifyMJ Have you upgraded to a switch 2 yet? Doom 2016 and eternal are wonderful on the switch 2. I'm also hoping that they do a 60 frames per second update.

@BaldB3lper78 So I did play it, and I feel that it's not near as good as the old air hockey that was included with Wii Play? I think that's the one it was on. It is fun though I definitely need to make the physics better though The puck seems to go at a standard speed pretty much no matter what it's kind of strange.

@Automated_Unit_4937 very, yeah I have not checked to see if my receiver is 120 hz capable, in theory it is as it has the correct HDMI for it.

My Roku ultra on the other hand does not pass through video properly. May I ask what splitter did you use to rip the audio?

@Automated_Unit_4937 I avoid arc and earc like the plague. Every time I have dabbled with it. it ends up having problems. So I hook up all to the denon receiver, then pass thru video. I use a 5.2.4 Atmos setup. Some games are great with Dolby surround up mixing to Atmos...

I still think it's really funny how fan art is pretty much already plagiarism, and then everyone gets all crazy when the actual company that invented the stuff, accidentally basis something off of the fan created art... Seems like this is the third or fourth story I've seen like this in the last 10 years and it's quite funny to me.
