Re: Capcom Says The Likelihood Of A Pragmata Sequel Is High

Danrenfroe2016

@tameshiyaku What they should do is just make a new story in the same universe. All they have to do is make it wholesome and fun and polished, and people will like it. That new gameplay is great, where it will hurt them is if they try to turn it into something crazy and not just be simple Wholesome like it is now.

Re: Dragon's Dogma 2 Expected To Run At A Minimum Of 30fps On Switch 2

Danrenfroe2016

@-wc- they brag about having million polygons in girls butt cheek. What was originally poor optimization culling culling polys appropriately And getting rid of geometry. That doesn't matter, and does not enrich the gameplay in any way, they don't do that anymore at all. And different set pieces and wildly wasted horsepower. But then they can't figure out why their game can't run good

Re: DOOM's Developer id Software Has Supposedly Lost Around 50% Of Its Team

Danrenfroe2016

Well id software's problem, along with most of the rest of the industry, is one and the same. Their tent pole is exactly one game... And it's a AAA game... They need to have AAA games, but they also need to be putting out other smaller games that are not so ambitious, I would absolutely love it if they made an old-timey Boomer shooter.. it would be easy enough to make and if they had high quality they could sell a lot, make a lot of money, I don't quite get this business model. They have that you should spend gazillions of millions of dollars making one game and then sell that one game and then go on to the next AAA game, they need to diversify.

On a second note, I hope this does not slow down any work on switch. 2

Re: The Crew Motorfest Arriving On Switch 2 This October

Danrenfroe2016

@FuzzieGinge88

Yes, I still wonder when a company is going to implement a new style of throttle control for switch 2.

To me it seems incredibly obvious, I think they should have the throttle be operated by two or three buttons, one button is 1/3 throttle. Second button is 2/3 throttle. Third button is full throttle...

This would honestly work in tons of games, but I've never seen anybody actually implement it. I think it would honestly be super fun, if you relate it to a kind of gameplay mechanic. If you're on a corner and you press level one throttle, it would induce a little bit of understeer as your engine is somewhat slowing you down, the middle throttle would be almost throttled to hold your current speed, and full throttle would induce oversteer, as probably shouldn't be mashing the pedal 100% in a corner LOL, I think it would be a lot of fun

Re: The Crew Motorfest Arriving On Switch 2 This October

Danrenfroe2016

Online to play? Is this another one of those live service type things? Why can't they just make f****** games? Why do they have to make a live service? They want our money so f****** bad they just want us to pay monthly. They just want us to pay for the rest of our f****** lives,
anyway rant over.

Why don't they just make a good game a good racing game and sell it to me and I'll be happy and I'll love it. It doesn't mean to have any any seasons, or persistent online garbage or any of those things, maybe I'll just play burnout Paradise, and just stop by any new racing games, how about that?.

Re: Rise Of The Tomb Raider At 60fps On Switch 2 Would Have Required "Serious Compromises"

Danrenfroe2016

See this is where I disagree with them, now the way they currently design stuff with millions of polygons just in the ass cheeks of a character No s*** that's going to run poorly...

I wish these developers would stop using way too many polygons and fix their geometry, there is smart geometry and then there is way overboard waste of power geometry, almost every single game these days pushes the geometry too far and wastes horsepower literally on nothing, it's lazy and needs to change.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Is A Breathtaking Success, Reaching 40 Million Copies Sold

Danrenfroe2016

I hope they fix some bugs. I have over a hundred hours into it And there are several easily reproducible bugs that they need to work out and fix... I have sent them notes, so I'm pretty sure they know about them. I just want them to do the right thing and fix them! Some of the bugs did not exist until the most recent update as well, so they actively broke some items while fixing others.

Re: PSA: New Knockout Tour Rallies Are Now Available In Mario Kart World

Danrenfroe2016

I really wish they would keep the world map pretty much the same size it is, but add more stuff to do and make it more fun inside the world, it's just so boring on certain areas, also, if they add new tracks they can have a lot of fun by making a construction zone on the world map and it would be cool if it updated over a week or two or three showing portions of it being built and such and then having a grand opening of a new track, they definitely need new tracks, and they need to be tighter. Tighter more technical tracks, not so damn wide and boring.

Re: Cruis'n Blast Has Been Delisted From The Switch eShop

Danrenfroe2016

@gojiguy Yeah, I remembered that too. I even tried to write emails to raw thrills asking them when they were going to come out with it, and I got nothing back. I really hope all this radio silence is because he struck a deal with Nintendo and they are going to bring all three of the N64 games to the switch + I hope that a new version pops up of the game, and I do get it. If he signs something with Nintendo, they're pretty much not allowed to say anything, but that may be just wishful thinking on my part

Re: Mini Review: Sonic Frontiers - Definitive Edition (Switch 2) - Fans Deserve Better Than This

Danrenfroe2016

Sega is so bad about stuff like this, I get so angry every time. I think about half the things that Sega does, they would sell so much more stuff if they would actually take the time to do it and do it properly, but let's face it, They are trying as hard as they can to they're to make crap and make people actively skeptical of Sega. I mean look how they screwed up monkey Ball recently, and then they screwed up Sonic origins? Hopefully they fixed Sonic origins, I was ready to buy and then there was such problems with the game that I just completely took it off my radar. What blows my mind is that a couple of rebels like Christian Whitehead and other folks developers on the internet can get Sonic so right? And then a multi-billion dollar corporation couldn't get the physics for Sonic correct if it was their only job? It's sickening, I just don't understand how they can put out such crap and people buy it

Okay rant over, did they ever fix Sonic origins?

Re: Pragmata's Latest Update Includes An Adorable New Suit, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

Danrenfroe2016

Did they ever fix the texture issues in some areas? Especially in the base area? It really ruins the immersion when you look down and you're talking to Diana and there is messed up floor textures that look horrible, And they can easily fix it if they would try, I haven't played the game in a couple of weeks and I was hoping they would fix that soon. When I get back to it I would like to see it looking better in these areas.

Re: More Mario Kart World Tracks Race Onto Nintendo Music Today

Danrenfroe2016

Okay, the headline was cruel and misleading, well when misread well, but I thought you said they were bringing new tracks to Mario kart world, I was excited. Was excited. I was thinking maybe they'll make some courses that are tight turns and skinny courses that are much better than the open world tracks they have currently. But I guess I'll just have to do with music instead

Re: Opinion: Mario Kart World Deserves Its Flowers, So Let's Stop Comparing It To MK8 Deluxe

Danrenfroe2016

@Expa0 Amen.... It's like no! You will play how I want you to play!

Did The writer of this article get paid by Nintendo? Now I'm only kidding, the writer does make a lot of good points in here, but it still doesn't get around the fact that Mario kart world is just not as good as Mario kart. 8, and it has nothing to do with a quality so to speak. Speak. It's just that they tried to make it a proper open world game, and let's face it most Open world racing games are not near as good as their traditional predecessors, it's like they just want to have the word open world so bad in the description of their title.

Re: Crystal Dynamics Comments On Its Use Of AI In Tomb Raider: Legacy Of Atlantis

Danrenfroe2016

Yeah I don't get why people are upset about this, having used AI very heavily for my work, a lot of people seem to think that AI can just magically do things regarding art and things like that, and while it can do certain things really really well, one of its big problems is doing anything with any kind of consistency...
I bet they used AI to upscale textures and potentially add additional geometry. I don't see any problem with this, in fact it's smart. One person can be the better, and if AI hurts their work and makes it worse, it will show in the product, joe really we should judge it by the quality of the product and not 100% on how they produced it.

Re: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Revealed For Switch 2

Danrenfroe2016

I don't know... I've seen some of my friends play call of duty on their. I guess on the PS5 and I was not all that amazed by it, it seemed to be the same muted colors and such from a long time ago. I'm not sure. If I'm ever going to dip back into realistic style first person the modern Shooters.

Re: "We're Working With Nintendo To Get This Fixed" - Stray's Free Switch 2 Upgrade Is Missing

Danrenfroe2016

Yes, I received the physical as a gift from my sister, and I was looking forward to the switch to upgrade, and I was really mad yesterday to find out that they were asking me to pay for the game again, and I don't believe them when they say that it was a mistake, I think they are backpedaling because I wrote them an email immediately yesterday and they have not responded. The angry customers and backlash should make them change their mind and they better do the same with physical as well, if they're worried about cheaters and such, all they need to do is make the physical free upgrade available for just one month, that's what other publishers have done and that works just fine while also closing the loophole of sharing a game cart around to cheat the system.

Re: "We Understand The Frustration" - ININ Games Addresses R-Type Dimensions III Tech Issues

Danrenfroe2016

@Gamer_Griff They 100% knew, and they 100% shipped it out, this is a rehash of a decades-old game, and I'm not sure who buys it? It? I don't buy it, I don't want it. I looked and I have four copies of R type. This is literally a company that is just trying to make some money off of an IP it holds called R type. I mean we might as well call it what it is. It's a trash trash company.

Re: "We Understand The Frustration" - ININ Games Addresses R-Type Dimensions III Tech Issues

Danrenfroe2016

This is literally hilarious to me, for one of the games that has been more published and republished and rehashed and over and over and over again, they still mess it up LOL. I have R type no less than four times, and it's completely by accident, and no, I don't want R type again.

This also highlights the other problem with current day development, they do sloppy sloppy crappy work, and then they tell people that they care about the customer.

But we all know damn well, that they spent as little time and as little money on it as possible, it's called a cash grab, and then they beg for forgiveness, nobody should be buying this crap.
