Re: Rumour: Switch "Successor" Will Be Backwards Compatible, It's Claimed

Danrenfroe2016

I agree that backwards compatibility is a must.

@Enigk what I think they should do, and I think this is rather likely. I think that all the games should be backwards compatible, note that how Nintendo usually handles old games on newer hardware is the hardware boots into a older mode, thereby games may not run any better just by default.

What I think they should do, and I think this is rather likely, Is offer upgrade texture packs and such for older games for a low cost fee. Newer versions of old games could still be sold i.e. Odyssey deluxe 4k! But the upgrade should be a dlc option to upgrade.

Now what they should do, is the people that pay for the upgraded NSO service, should get all these DLC upgrades as part of the NSO package.

Re: Resident Evil 6 Has Sold Over 1 Million Copies On Nintendo Switch

RE 6 is great on switch. The Cloud versions are terrible.... It's sad to see what "next gen" games have turned into. They are so inefficient with way to much detail. Devs are claiming it's too expensive to develop modern games... Well no s#it! Devs waste to much time making a detailed world with 1 million polygons in a women's butt! When I played RE 7 I laughed out loud at the stubble River Rock walls... So much wasted geometry. All this power for no reason...

Re: Little Kitty, Big City Update Is On The Way, Here Are The Patch Notes

Danrenfroe2016

Yes I'm going to buy this game after they release a patch, I swear these developers literally put out a game having never played it, how the hell can you program a game and never play the damn thing? Nintendo life, This is a question that you need to ask developers, every single time we talk to one about an upcoming game ask them if they're going to release it before the game is even finished.

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Endless Ocean: Luminous

Danrenfroe2016

I'm perplexed that the price is $50. I love endless ocean, but at 500 fish and the high price, I feel like they are skimping out. 500 creatures to discover is pretty small for a game called "Endless" ocean. We have classified over 243,000 species in the ocean. And this game gives us 500? Nintendo is getting greedy.

Re: Poll: Do You Want To See 'Super Mario Bros. Wonder 2'?

Danrenfroe2016

Yes. I love wonder .. the controls, visuals, gameplay is near perfect. But I think the music is not as catchy and charming. I felt the same way about Mario kart 8, I actually like the sample based music and chip tunes better than the orchestrated music for super Mario and Mario kart. I understand the orchestrated style music with legend of Zelda and Mario Galaxy / Odyssey, but I feel like the older style is better for 2d Mario games.
