Honestly this is where I think they should look into data streaming. Using AI or something, they should have the option to have like a storage saver toggle in the options for GameCube, that if you're a person that is connected online all the time it just downloads what it needs just in time. This would totally work for GameCube games. The maximum Read from the physical disk was about 25 Mbps. I have a feeling that they are thinking about trying something like this.

I'm honestly kind of glad that it got canceled, the stuff coming out of Microsoft lately has been absolutely boring, woke and intentionally crippling itself. I'm afraid they need new leadership and new developers to come in, and make good games that are non-political. They need to get back to making games for all people and not try to cater to a small subset of folks.

Even the Xbox 360 perfect dark, I really wanted to like it, but It was too slow, and just felt clunky to me.

I think it's funny, gaming journalists are all about r4 cards and piracy and such, and then somebody uses one of their photos and they lose their mind. 😅

I'm so happy, now I can not play fortnite in 4K! I tried a long time ago, and I also tried about four or five months ago with my nephew who absolutely loves this game, and he actually is pretty good at it too I think, but I just can't get into the whole waiting around for stuff to start happening scenario... Just not my thing...

@nin10doom Yes at first it's kind of daunting, but after I got good add it back on the Wii U, it's been one of my go-to games for quick thoughtless enjoyment.

@Kiwi_Unlimited same here. Obviously I'm excited for Mario kart world, and the updates to the other switch games, But this is the first play for me. I'll probably sit on cyberpunk for about a month or two and then buy it, I have never had a system that was able to run this game, so I am ready to play it, I know that there will be patches so I'm going to wait a few months.

@nin10doom Yes, you need to give it about 1 hour, and remember you have to start turning in advance almost especially with the L & R leaning. Once I got good at it, I couldn't put it down. I started with fast on the Wii U.

I'm down! Honestly this is probably the first game I'm going to play even before Mario kart. This is a tradition for me now...

I'm really interested to see the performance, because fast RMX is absolutely stunningly beautiful and fast. It's like how are they going to top that?

Also I'm hoping to upgrade my projector to a 4K gaming projector prior to launch! That part is the projector is almost $2,000. I'm trying to be a responsible adult and not just buy it with my savings 🤪

@progx Yeah I think the Nintendo first party are going to be all on the card. I'm still a little bit annoyed that they can't put a copy of Mario kart world in the box though instead of the download code.

@MrDocena got it, that's sad that the people that did like it did not get enough content out of it, I actually have a copy of it and I have never tried to play it I don't know where I got it from but I do have a copy of Wii music, I need to plug it in and see what it's all about. I'm kind of glad actually to see that there are some defenders of that game lol, I was under the impression that it just came and got mocked and fizzled. I mean I get it that Nintendo likes to innovate but I just hate it when they spend money on features for the switch or a switch 2 that only one or two games will utilize, particularly the little IR camera sensor thing in the original switch.

I am honestly so glad that they did not innovate too much, remember wii music? Remember Star Fox zero? Potentially good ideas, but it went too far. I tried so hard to like Star Fox zero but it just was unfun to play because of the complication of having to use the gamepad as well. Uggg.

I'm interested in getting Madden, I haven't played it for years since they have been skipping Nintendo consoles, however there is no reason that it should be 60 GB, again that's just extremely sloppy on the developer.

@Scarmucci yes. I think was line#26, they have us a print out of crazy bundles. But I just went for the Mario kart console. No extras.

The GameStop in Coppell Texas had 35 bundles and 15 console only.

Had success with Best buy app. And had success with in person GameStop preorder a few min ago.

@progx I 100% disagree about the phone and tablet... , I'm a hardcore gamer, and I just can't stand trying to game on a cell phone or a tablet, I mean other than something like bejeweled or angry birds, it's just not well suited for it. No I realize like my nephew he plays all these games that all you do is sit there and tap like a zombie, and I just cannot believe it, it's not even a game it's basically like he's putting money into one of those video slot machines that you see people and they just keep tapping the button That's what it reminds me of. 😵😵😵

I really want to hear about super Mario Odyssey, and Doom 2016, Doom eternal. And the other Bethesda titles.

@MegaVel91 it's doable, I suggest you give it another try invest, 1 hour. I guarantee you will get the nack of it. After you get somewhat familiar with the superfast racing, it easily became one of my favorite games on Switch. There's really nothing else out there like it.

@G4n0nD0rf yes. I run a BenQ gaming projector thru a denon AVR. Top of the line avr from 2015, Dolby Atmos, HDMI 2.0a I think I'm not going to get variable rate refresh working. But I'm ok with 30fps and 60fps. If I read right, VRR send to work best with odd 1440p resolution 120fps mode?

Honestly this is the way most games should be. 140 million switch 1s? Why not both?

@Galaxy2IsTheGOAT Amen brother... Higher poly count and fabric simulation and a lot of the new things are just wasting CPU/GPU cycles... Neat yes, but neat does not equate to fun.
