After finding it impossible to get another NES mini after giving mine to my nephew I gave up and built a Retro Pie. I'll support Nintendo all day, but when they make their products impossible to get I just gave up. I would love an SNES mini even though I have an SNES and Retro Pie, but I have low hopes in ever finding one.

The N64 is still my favorite console. I owned 3 and had about 50 games for it. It got me thru my teenage years and we spent a lot of time playing Goldeneye at school. One kid brought his every day and students and teachers played it. He was good and cocky. We set it to 10 lives and I played him one in one. He killed me 9 times in a row, talking smack the whole time. I killed him 9 times in a row. Finally I got the last kill. He packed it up in a huff. But we all still played the next day. I still break it out occasionally but many the graphics are quite painful, I'm talking about you Episode 1 Racer.

I tried it out and it was pretty cool. I threw the hat then entered the main castle door. It got confused thinking I was inside but was outside. When I went theu the door to go in i was actually out. Was funny but I had to reset. Also took over the Big Bobomb on the summit. Didn't try to make him jump off the edge though.

I'm happy with it but I just don't understand the lack of VC.

Maybe I missed it but I didn't see on NL when the Link amiibo a went on sale or that some were exclusives. That would be good info to provide the community for all these new ones. I wanted a few of the Link ones but missed out.

Looks interesting but I've got a ton of Amiibo and Disney Infinity. I'm not interested in another collection.

I know this is old but I just though about Piranha Plant. He could bite, shoot fireballs, crush people with his pot etc.

I would buy Advance Wars for the Switch in a heartbeat. While I like stories, sometimes I miss the simplicity of some guy in overalls going into pipes and killing turtles and having no real reason why other than to save the princess. Stories are not required to make a game fun.

I suspect a third party will have one out in 6 months for $50. I've actually started moving the switch between TVs. I can't see the inventory in Minecraft in split screen in my Living room. It's too far away from the couch. So a second dock would be nice.

You said we can get crazy. How about the Ninja Turtles with skins to swap between them all.

My oldest daughter wanted on for Christmas and I had trouble finding a quality one and gave up. This is good news.

After the patch I can no longer put the switch to sleep. I tell it to and it goes down but 2 seconds later it's awake again. I tried it every way I could. Eventually I just powered it down.

It allows my 4 year old to play better. Without it there is no way she would finish rainbow road. With it it takes her a minute longer than the rest of us. She's able to finish all by herself. Now she can practice without getting frustrated.

I just don't see how this game is so appealing. I have never tried it but watching others play it seems tedious and pointless. Can someone clue me in on why I should give it my time and money?

I got one thru pure chance. Then gave it to my nephew as his parents couldn't find one to give him for Christmas. I thought, "I'll just grab one in the spring, no biggie." I want to support Nintendo and stay legit but RetroPie is looking better and better.

I struggle to grasp this decision. They could have sold a ton more of them like printing money. The fans would be happy. Everyone wins. But they do this, who wins? How is this a solid business decision on any level?

I have a shiny new switch I want games and themes for. My Wii U and 3DS are collecting dust and I'm not really interested in getting another old mario game on them. Give me some switch content.

Now I'm on a rant and got to thinking about iTunes or Amazon music or UltraViolet. I buy the movie or song once and it's mine who cares if I buy a new TV, PC, or phone. Why can't Nintendo do that. And you get to play it on whatever current gen console they have out.

I'm interested in porting many of those but not interested in paying $60 each for them again. I've already bought them once and sure I would love to have them on the Switch, but I am not paying that again. Xbox and PS4 offer backwards compatibility. I understand that's not possible here but come on Nintendo cut us Wii U owners a deal here. I did grudgingly order Mario Kart 8 Deluxe so I can play multiplayer with my kids but I'm not thrilled with the cost at all. Game Cube VC is what I want. I want to play Mario Sunshine again, but it should not be more than $15.

Guess I'll have more points expiring. Thankfully the gold coins don't expire for another month. Fingers crossed for something actually interesting.

Fix the supply issues and get the Virtual Console working (with GC games I hope) and I'll be super happy.

My 6 year old is also playing it. She just got out of the initial area. She gets easily distracted. I like that I have completed the parts she's going thru now so I can advise her and give her hints. I'm also blown away at how self sufficient she is in it. And thank you Nintendo for the Auto save.

There are still no NES Minis to be found anywhere in the US but they are thriving on eBay. I really blame eBay for most shortages. They guarantee a price so if anyone happens to see one on a shelf they snatch it up and resell it. Why not. You can double your money in a snap. The switch is guaranteee to bring about $415 on eBay else they give you a coupon. They falsely increase demand. Sure Nintendo could have had more initially but i expect it to be 6 months before it's easy to get a switch at the store.

I like the portability of it. It's nice just to sit on the couch and play it. I hate the joycon straps. As for Zelda it's great, my 6 year old has cleared the initial plateau and is marking her way they the game. I really appreciate the auto save feature. My 4 year old is even able to play the game but mostly just cuts down trees. So it's enjoyed by all. I was disheartened yesterday when my 6 year old told me "I don't want to play 1-2 Switch, it's boring." Sure it has some laughs but she summed it all up for me. Price was also ridiculous. I spent over $600 on it, case, screen protector, 2 games, 2 amiibo (which they jacked the price up on), extra joy cons, and pro controller. Ouch.

I have been wondering this. Why make it so complicated? just put it as another option when you press the Sleep button on the screen.

Amazon an Best Buy pulled thru. Target and Walmart dropped the ball so I have a switch but only some accessories. I really like it but have found two frustrations in only 4 hrs. It refused to feed the TV when I first docked it. It took a lot of fiddling to get it to turn on the HDMI. Also the wrist straps are VERY difficult to remove from the joycons. Especially the right one. Hopefully it wears and gets better but I really worry I'm going to break it when I remove it.

I just had a revelation. I live in the sticks. No proper internet. Downloading games has never been an option. But then it hit me. This thing is portable. I can just carry it to a friends house or a restaurant and download it. Playing portable is great but this opens a new world to me.

I'm a huge fan of Age of Empires types of games. I'll wait for the review then maybe pick it up based on that.

Sounds interesting. Maybe I'll get back into it but I sure wish they would fix the Apple Watch app. It's terrible. Sometimes only works for a few seconds before it bombs out. Once I walked like 3 km and it didn't add it to my egg distance. So I gave up on the whole game.

Seems overpriced, but I gave in and ordered one from BB just now. @The-Chosen-one in my experience official Nintendo accessories and games don't really drop in price. A Wii controller still commands $39 in most stores.

The gorilla game you just sit around scratching yourself. The treasure game is an idol swap on a pressure plate like in Indiana Jones.

I have a great idea to aide sales. Make more hardware. I tried to buy my daughter a 2DS yesterday, "sorry we don't have any 2DS or 3DS." How about an NES mini for my brother, nope. O I know, I'll talk a friend into getting a Switch, wait no more preorders. How can they constantly always be out of everything? Maybe use some of that cash to make some more consoles.

I'm rather attached to my Mii. I'll just keep using it.

I'm ok with $299 for the system. It's the peripherals that I'm frustrated with. I guess I'll just do without any extra controllers which means I won't buy Mario Kart. Wasn't it Reggie that said an extra dock would be available and competitively priced?

I'm really torn on 1 2 Switch. I think I will tire of it after 30 mins, but I have young kids who will probably like it and probably be the only game they will play on it initially. Nintendo may put it on sale later, but I can get it thru Amazon for $40 now. Just can't decide. Also a pro controller or two more joy cons so all 4 of us can play mario Kart?

I feel if I'm going to drop $60 on a game it needs to be like Mario, Mario Kart, Zelda, Skyrim; something I'll get untold hours of entertainment from. Games like this look fun but just aren't in the same boat in my opinion and need a lower price tag to get my attention.

Well I watched the treehouse review of 1 2 switch and it looked like I would tire of it after 30 mins. canceling my preorder of 1 2 switch. It feels like a gimmick where Wii Sports was a long term blast.

Preordered neon one from Target.com to ship to my house, but wont arrive until 5th-9th. Will try Amazon to see if can get better. Best Buy has it for store pickup but the closest one to me with stock still is 40 miles away. Walmart just said error every time I tried to add it.

I'll watch the main presentation then catch the highlights of the others later.
