I visited the NY store on Wednesday so I can say I visited the Only US location at the time. My family and I really enjoyed it and was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommended.

So much for visiting my daughters island in animal crossing without buying another copy.

I just feel bad for the uninformed that buy it and then realize what it is. It should be free.

I ordered it on June 15, 2017. At the time Amazon was giving a 20% discount on games. So I had locked that in. I found it humorous to watch it get moved out another year each December. Now it’s cancelled and my joy is gone.

There wasn’t anything that I was super excited about and will rush home to play or preorder. However it did have several good announcements and covered most of the bases. So I rated it an 8.

I ordered it from Amazon 7 years ago today. They were doing 20% off for prime members on games back then. It’s still sitting in my Upcoming Orders.

I admit I was initially let down when I saw it. It’s growing on me though as I think about the 2 in 1. So I can rebuild it to swap it back and forth. That adds some value. I defiantly like the mini figs. As for price it seems inline with other sets but I’m going to have to really convince myself that’s the best way to spend $300.

I'm definitely interested but it must have 4 player couch coop. That's a large part of Nintendo's selling point for the Switch.

Had both delivered today. Haven't opened them yet.

No one there has used the NES dog bone controller? Wow. I’ve got two in a
Box in storage. Our NES bit the dust long ago and got the new (at that time) top loading model to replace it. It still works. Many great memories.

Switch pro controller is my top pick

N64 controller is my pick for most nostalgic.

9/10. I go to the movies to be entertained and they accomplished that. I was also thrilled to share it with my kids and not have to worry with a bunch of language. The kids are now busy pretending to be Mario, Peach etc. Hoping Nintendo makes more movies.

@CptProtonX I just did the same. Preorder completed thru Best Buy. Have to pick up in store though but that’s ok. Honestly I like the Splatoon model better. May grab one of those also.

I did not see that coming. My immediate thought was that the Japanese folks are strange. Someone was in the board room and proposed this and the team was like, “yea, let’s do it.”

The other 5 characters will be Diddy, Zelda, Olimar, Pauline, and Piranha Plant.

Mine would have to be my green N64. It wasn’t my first N64 but was the cool one and it still works. I’ve got it on display with Goldeneye in it. I am also very partial to my gold preorder copies of Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask too.

Just put in an hour of 5 player couch co-op with the kids on Shredders Revenge. It was a lot of fun. I love my Switch but Game Pass rocks.

Just get rid of the live actors is all I’m asking for.

These all seem reasonable. Accessibility should also include younger players. A few things I’d like to see are some type of screen reader for all those games with only text and the young kids can’t read. Also a profanity filter would be great, just **** and mute that tiny section. It would be great when the kids are around while playing.

I got the prev years model Titan chair from this company. It did seem hard at first but I really like it. I put some memory foam covers on the arm rests which helped a lot. I wish the arms came back further but that’s my only gripe. It fits me well, I’m 6’2” It’s a great chair and after using it 8-10 hours a day it was a great investment.

Your final list is very, very close to mine. The top 8 are exactly right.

Well I just so happened to look at my Amazon orders and there was Metroid Prime 4 ordered in June 2017 still sitting there. It’s only been 4 years. Prob too much to hope for.

I hope they add the Super Gameboy capability to it. I can see Mario, Kirby, and Donkey Kong on the service but I don’t think they will add Pokémon main games. They are too busy remastering them and may fear it will cut into sales. Also would they add a way to transfer Pokémon from it? If so that would be cool to send them to Pokémon Home. But feeling doubtful.

I really enjoyed these games but $60 is too much. I’ll wait till they go on sale.

With 4 children in my house, 4 player split screen is a must. This is quite disappointing.

Just buy Stardew Valley. You won’t be disappointed

An issue I have is after dealing with work and kids all day I want to sit down and play a game. I like many types of games but most just further stress me out so they don’t get played much. Good ones to relax with are Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley.

I actually played Perfect Dark this morning. The visuals were a muddled mess but we still had fun killing those meat sims.

I’m for it. I’m not an iPhone gamer but I do like that once I’ve bought a apple digital game, song, or movie it’s mine. Atleast theoretically. How many times have I bought Mario 64 etc just to get it on the latest hardware? I like the idea of a hardware refresh every 3 years or so. And all Switch games work on it. If they want to innovate I’m good with it. A new attachment or controller, but hopefully not required for most games.

I did all the missions but didn’t know they were available. I tried this morning. Not sure why I expected it to work. Classic Nintendo.

Now I’ll be confused if I’m watching NIntendo Life or Game Explain.

Single player may be fun but Mario kart was made for multiplayer. $100 each just isn’t going to work for us. Why not $60 for a starter kit and $40 for extra karts. I’d jump on that.

Is this individual only or will they have a 4 pack. I really haven’t been buying any since they went up to $15.99 each. $12.99 was hard enough to stomach, but they are neat on my shelf and my two year old loves to play with them.

$100 per player. No thanks. We have 2 Switches, and downloaded software can be played on both by dif users, so why not make a version with 2 karts. I don't need 2 sets of cardboard or 2 games. My kids were hyped, but I'll have to pass. Maybe it will go on clearance like Starlink and I'll pick it up, but I wont get my hopes up.

As I read this I lean over and look at my clear green N64 on the shelf next to my desk. Yep, Goldeneye is still plugged into it.

That’s a pretty depressing lot for two full months. I don’t see anything I’m interested in.

I was hyped when I learned it was on my birthday this year. I think Nintendo has done ok with not having it and with COVID delays but I was still really bummed when it was cancelled and they didn’t even show the Nintendo broadcast.

I completely agree with your points. I’ve just never liked the Playstation controller so I’ve got an xbox one and switch. If there were a way to share games between the two that would be super cool. Or play on switch via XCloud. Either way it seems a benefit for them to work together.

We played it quite a bit yesterday. Only issues we had was while using the free app and local play it disconnected twice in 4 games. We then swapped to online and it disconnected once in 15 games. Maybe not an issue with the game but frustrating. We all enjoyed the game.
