I actually did buy a second switch in March. My kids and I fly to each other’s islands. It will also be handy for Clubhouse Games. It was hard to find but I got it for MSRP at Best Buy.

I know E3 was cancelled but I had hoped Nintendo would still air their Direct on the same day. Maybe the pandemic has affected too many planned dates, but it’s a bummer. I was definitely looking forward to it.

I played it on mobile. Yes I lost interest after a few day but hey it didn’t cost me anything. 3/10 is pretty harsh. It’s no 7,8,9 etc. but its free so maybe a 5?

I picked a neon one up at Best Buy Saturday morning. I checked online. It said In Stock and I ordered it. It was ready for pickup in about 10 mins. I was pretty excited to find one.

How about us Americans? We are stuck at home too.

Those were good ideas. I want a more robust couch coop mode. I doubt it will happen but remove the whole leader thing and let everyone do their own thing. Maybe split screen.

I'll take them all, but my preference would be a remaster of Mario 64 and Sunshine. Hopefully they wont be $60 each.

I broke this one out about a year ago on N64 as I wanted to share it with my kids. The graphics are horrendous. I remember enjoying it, but it was a bit shallow. I'm excited to see it remade. Hopefully it will look much better and have more depth. Good announcement.

I’m enjoying it but have some of the same frustrations. For example. I setup the island. One day I met a ghost. Then my daughter joined in and was the leader. It would not let her catch the spirits. I had to. Then she got them from the box and it wouldn’t let her speak to the ghost. She also could not drop the spirits so I had to take the lead, catch 5 more spirits, then talk to the ghost. I have her the gift he gave. But it wasn’t much fun for her and quite frustrating.

Nintendo needs to have an eShop sale. I know they want to get Animal Crossing out but starting Monday maybe have all Nintendo first party games 20% off for digital copies. With everyone sitting at home it could be a good will gesture from them as well as make them some extra money.

I agree. E3 is a time, not a place. I’ll never go in person, but I’m definitely excited for E3 and watch as much live as I can. I hope they continue, it but if it’s digital only that’s fine with me.

I sold my copy of Sculptors Cut several years ago for big $. I had bought it at blockbuster used like 20 years ago for like $15. I also have Mike Tyson’s Punch Out but sadly it’s the 3 screw version. Not worth much.

I bought Doom 2016 on XBox because it was like $10. I now wish I had it on Switch. I bought Resident Evil 4 last week on Switch and am enjoying it immensely. Happy I didn’t buy the Xbox version. Put in some headphones, sit on the couch, have the screen a foot from your face. That’s way more immersion than on my 60” TV 10 feet away turned down to not wake the baby. Switch all the way. Plus I love the profiles on it. My kids understand it and use their profiles. I have no idea how the XBox profiles work and still can’t get It to let my kids play Battlefront 2. So they just play as me.

I let my gold pass expire yesterday. I don’t have all the gatcha characters but do have all the others. Have most of the karts and gliders also. So my gold is just piling up with nothing to buy. They just repeat the same unlock characters, like Peachette. You can’t get in the top 5 without having this weeks gatcha. It’s mostly lost my interest.

Stop with the Banjo teasing. It’s too much to handle.

I’d love to see N64 on the Switch online service. I wish it could include Rare games though or just release Rare Replay on Switch.

I had two that were drifting. The first was really bad. I sent it in and they sent me a brand new, newest model. The second I sent in they just fixed and returned. It was also ghost pressing the home button. But hey it works now. All free. I’m happy.

NBA 2K18 or 2K19 was on sale a while back. Like $1. Was it worth it? It wasn’t for me and I didn’t buy it. My time is limited as is my Switch space. I’ve got other games I haven’t finished and want to play more. Bargain yes, but if I’m not going to play it they why buy.

I assumed that was a option of multiplayer against a friends list and the current way it’s setup is matching with strangers.

I wanted to vote for the DS Lite and the Advance SP. both far superior to the original models.
I also had the NES 101, ice blue N64, and jungle green N64 as well as the New 3DS XL.
I get all consoles immediately on release but the hand helds I tend to hang off until a revision comes out.

I’ll pass on the season pass but I’ll buy the bear and bird on their own. Please rerelease the 2 original Banjo Kazooie games also please.

I’ve never played a DW game and tried the demo for an hour and a half last night. So far it’s interesting and I’ll keep playing. Still unsure if I will pick up the game but the demo at least has me considering it. Before it, I could have cared less.

Both my left Joycons drift. Nintendo has already fixed the antennas in both. My game boy, one N64 and original NES eventually died but lasted a long time.

My SNES, 2nd N64, GBA, DS, 3DS, Wii, and Wii U work great.

Recently the back of my Switch popped open at the top. The plastic around that tiny screw in the middle broke. Maybe my kids dropped it or sat on It. So I’m not sure if it’s a defect or not.

Super Mario Kart, Donkey Kong country (all 3), Link to the Past, Super Mario World, and Super Mario RPG.

I immediately disliked the Europe one but the longer I looked at it the more I liked it.

I’m not surprised they decided to change it but saying they never meant for it to be required is a lie. I’m a software dev. You don’t make that kind of mistake.

I’m hesitant to. My kids want their own but it just too complex to juggle the game ownership. However both left Joy-Con a drift and today I found the back top plate of my switch was popped open. How? I have no idea. It still works but for how much longer? I wonder.

I have 2 sets. Both from the first days of release. The left gray one just started drifting up and down. Both left ones were sent to Nintendo for connectivity issues also a year ago.

I’m fine with it but I would appreciate the ability to turn on filters if desired. A Language filter would be nice to enable if the kids are in the room. For call of duty I just swapped it to Spanish.

Wasn't there a pre E3 GameStop leak that had 30 or so game Barcodes and one was listed at $249. People speculated it was the Switch mini but it was a software code. Maybe this is that listing.

Super hyped. It was my favorite part of the direct. I do hope this means Rare Replay is coming to Switch. I've been holding back from buying it on my Xbox hoping it will come to Switch.

My kids and I played it tonight. Still a lot of fun.

@sanderev. I meant split screen. My kids are too young to buy them their own switch and copy of the game.

They should be clearer about this. That should have been a main selling point to support their slogan of play anywhere, anytime with anyone.

If I had known Splatoon 2 didn’t support local multiplayer I would never have purchased it. I didn’t check because, why wouldn’t it? The main desire was to play against my kids. Yes it’s fun to play strangers online but I was hoping it could be a family experience.

I enjoyed both Luigi’s Mansion games. I’m ready for the third. I need something to spend my second voucher on.

I’d prefer Mario 64, but would be happy with Mario Bros 2.

How do you know levels can be played couch coop with one device?

The bug that caused the game to crash on save if you had an empty slot in your fridge got me twice before I figured out why. I had spent all day in the mines each time and got a lot of cool stuff and crash. Maybe I’ll get back into it after this patch.

We have the original NES cart with Mike Tyson. I never made it to his fight.

So I voted no and a year ago I would have been upset to even have this conversation but a lot has changed in that year. We now have broadband rather than dial up, Amazon stopped giving the Prime discount, I bought a 400GB micro SD for $60 that was $250 a year ago, and finally I have young kids that play it more than I do and I was not happy one night crawling under a bed looking for the Breath of the Wild cartridge. I’m really leaning toward all digital on future game purchases. I voted no however because there are still people who prefer physical and may still not have broadband (yes there are people outside the cities). Besides I doubt the chip reader costs that much to manufacture as opposed to the Xbox disk reader.

So which version of Resident Evil 4 is it? Game cube, Wii or the HD one?

Sounds good. I wish they would have more stores around the globe. It would be fun to take the kids to a Nintendo store.

Disappointed sure but as a developer you know when what you have is garbage and sometimes you just have to start over. To tide us over release the Prime Trilogy on Switch for $19.99. Or even better an HD version for $39.99. That would keep me busy.
