So I reloaded this page 4 times and the screen shots change each time. Wondering if that’s by design or not. Not sure I like it. I was trying to go back and see the roster. I know I saw it the first time thru the article, but now I get dif screenshots each time.

Interesting timing. I’m currently in the process of installing RetroArch on my FireStick 4k. I’ve been watching ETA Prime on You Tube and he’s got it playing N64 games with an Xbox one controller. I thought I’d load up my retro library on it and try it out once that USB adapter comes in.

I’m hoping I read the calendar wrong and today is actually April 1st.

If they do come up with a mini I may be tempted for my kids but I would want a way to share the software I’ve already bought on my switch with them rather than buy yet again and we know Nintendo’s POV on that.

Celeste is the free game on Xbox One in January with Gold. Hate to down Nintendo but if you’ve got both systems. You may want to wait a few days and get it for free.

With Amazon giving 20% off I was physical as much as possible. Now that is over I imagine going mostly digital. I like physical because they use less space but we’ve had a couple physical cartridges disappear under beds when my kids play and I’d rather not have to worry.

I’m currently engrossed in playing Magic Arena on PC. It has its issues but I’m still enjoying it. I’d love to see it on Switch.

Just finished a few rounds of Warios Woods with my wife. We used a pro controller and a PowerA wired one. Worked just fine. I don’t see a need for these NES controllers. PS. She stomped me.

Preordered it but the day it came out I saw the reviews so I returned it. Thankfully I hadn’t opened it yet.

But why can’t we get something Switch related? I’d love skyward sword but I just don’t think I’ll drag the Wii U out to play it so why purchase it.

I preordered it on Switch and played it on my phone while I waited. The screen is just too tiny on my phone. I have the Switch version in hand now but am afraid to open it after seeing initial reviews and video footage. Quality looks trrrible and frame rates are worse. I have an XBox one S and I hear it’s bad there too. I want to play but don’t see that it’s optimized for any console I have.

Already had Pikachu. Ordered an XBox One for $180 with Minecraft. Couldn’t pass up that price. Also got Forza for $30.

This was the only Zelda title I never played on a console. I’d love to try it.

I wanted Civ 6 but didn’t have the cash after buying Let’s Go Pikachu. Thankfully Civ 5 went on sale on steam with all expansions for like $12. So I bought Civ 5 instead of Civ 6.

They also added settings to connect to your switch but all links like “About” and “Quick Start” seem to lead to the Japanese Nintendo site.

My kids want one and I’m sure it would complete the experience but it’s just too expensive. I’ll pass.

That’s funny. I wore a Resident Evil shirt today for the first time ever, then showed my daughter Res4 for Wii when she asked about it. Now it’s coming to Switch. I really liked that game but bought it for GameCube and Wii. Prob won’t be buying it again.

I’ll sell anyone a copy of Diablo 3 plus some stickers for $160.

Seems to contradict what they said about the Switch. That it was a gaming platform not an entertainment one. That’s why they wouldn’t put Netflix on it.

My store closed a couple months ago. It’s was definitely a sad sight those last few weeks.

Still wish we could use them for something more than 50 cents off a Switch game. How about 30%?

I agree with @bimmy-lee. It’s someone looking for a rare, collectors item. I don’t think the finder had the right to sell it though. Should it be returned to Nintendo?

I like that it’s one icon. Keep it tidy. I’ve been looking forward to it for a while. I don’t even play online much. I guess I’m starving a bit. Been a while since I’ve got a new game and the Swiych UI is just so boring. Looking for something fresh I guess.

I struggle to see the purpose. Look good but definitely it spending $60 on these even if they did work elsewhere. A couple wireless SNES controllers may be tempting but I’d prob still pass.

Still want more details. Will they have save states? If I’m the only one with the online pass can others with accounts on my switch play them? Do I need to download these or will they be in a single category on my home page?

Still several I would like to see but releasing 3 a month they can’t go too hog wild initially. Warios Woods is about the only NES game my wife will play and she smokes me at it. Including these NES games is waaaay better than charging $5 each for them, yet again. So overall I’m happy with it.

More GameCube ports please.

I saw a few games on sale today on the eShop and thought, “let me check Nintendo Life first.” I did and saw some pretty low scores so I passed. I don’t have much free time so need to focus my time as best I can. Scores not only tell me which games not to waste time and money on but also which reviews I don’t even need to bother reading. Don’t stop reviewing and scoring.

1-2 Switch was supposed to show the capabilities of the JoyCon. I guess it did but got old really fast. This seems like a better example of Nintendo putting them to use in a game that’s actually fun to play.

They don’t mention online in the description. Again, they just baffle me. Who won’t be surprised if thy don’t even mention online in the direct?

We know most everything on Smash bros, due in Dec, but a service that controls how we play online that may launch in 2 weeks, we know very little. I just don’t understand their reasoning. They are definitely one of the most baffling companies when it comes to communication. O well, I’ll sit and wait.

Don’t forget to preorder Yoshi. Funny I’ve had some of these preordered since June 2017. Amazon was starting to get spotty in this but I’ll definitely be miss the perk. Diablo 3 doesn’t have the discount.

My 3 year old asked at bed time “what happened to Luigi” and stated the mummy scared her. Nintendo scaring the kiddos.

He was my #1 pic of characters that actually stood a chance of being included. No ARMS characters yet, guess they are still holding that to their chest.

Remember Napster? Yep I was there who wasn’t. And yes I agree it was wrong but MP3s were just getting started. I had an iPod and ripping CDs was a pain. Now there are so many legal options. I have Amazon music unlimited. It’s great. Could they not find some subscription service for these old games. Give us access to them rather than buying SMB3 for the 12th time. Maybe Nintendo will sort of have it with the online service coming next month.

I got my kids the Splatoon controller. They all want to use it. They don’t care if it’s wired, they just like the paint splatters on it.

My daugher is a big Harry Potter fan. Sounds like a good Christmas gift.

I tried Paladins last night. I enjoyed it and will play more today. Half my time was spent trying to figure out all the screens and what all the unlocks were and how to get them. I’m new to the free to play games me it can be overwhelming, but I think I have it figured out and will play for free and unlock champions with the gold I earn.

How I remember the unplugged controller trick. Went thru it with each sibling, cousin and child. Once my little cousin got so upset that “it wasn’t plugged in” so I just stuck it under the console. Happy was he. I’m really enjoying sharing these things with my kids as well. That’s why I wish Nintendo would bring back the VC. It’s just quite cluttered around the TV trying to have so many consoles connected.

Hey Nintendo. This is great but did you know there is a system out now called the Switch? Yea it’s all the rage but they never discount games on it for it’s My Nintendo Rewards members.

Must have Snake and Ridley, maybe Ice Climbers. Already have Daisy and Inkling Girl. Don’t really care about Pichu. It’s a good opportunity to reprint some of the harder to find ones as well. They were popular on the WiiU and since the Switch is so much more popular they should take the opportunity to get more on the streets.

I’m looking forward to it. I hope they revamp the menus and add an adventure mode as well.

I agree with this article. I played Red long ago and enjoyed it. I didn’t play again until I bought Moon. It was overwhelming. I enjoyed it but like the simpler concept here and think my young kids will like it better than a mainline game.
