Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Pokémon Scarlet And Violet

@Oscarzxn When people are deeply fond of something, there will always be a justification nomatter how objectivity bad it is.

This is everywhere, even here on Nintendolife. it's now the attitude "As long as it runs that's all that matters." This kind of culture why companies can get by releasing bad products.

When you defend bad practices, you let bad practices become the norm.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Bayonetta 3

@BTB20 I doubt it but hey. If nothing on the new switch was announced other than ports with consistent framerates; Half the crowd here pretending it's no big deal would be first in line.

Deep down plenty here actually do want better hardware, but at the same don't wanna say anything bad about thier favorite company.

This happens with everyone's favorite gaming console. They are quick to defend it like it's perfect as is, but rush in line on day one for the chance to see their favorite games on better hardware.

Re: Bayonetta 3 Dev Responds To Voice Actor Dispute In Official Statement

Bratwurst35

@CharlieGirl But that same childish behavior can pointed at Hellena too. At some point you have to start questioning who you ally yourself with.

Going to twitter to ask people to boycott because "I said so" is an immature way to handle a dispute. Her very actions are childish in nature. She presented little evidence other than her word. And honestly? We're all heroes in our own tales, even if our actions are anything but heroic.

Re: Voice Of Mario Charles Martinet Thanks Fans For All The "Love And Kindness"

Bratwurst35

Yeesh, people are ragging on him as if that's the only voice he can do. Voice actors are versatile, and are capable of doing more than one tone.

He speaks in thar high pitch voice because that's what Nintendo wants him to do. That does not ever mean it's only one he can do.

If you have problem with the voice, blame Nintendo, not the actor who is getting payed for it. They love it!

@Sanangelo89 It's true some people take DB too seriously, but bad writing is just bad writing nomatter what.

DBZ wasn't perfect, but DBS is a downgrade in terms of story. It's 2 rehashes, a mediocre third, and just a passable 4th arc.

I don't think the people who dislike DBS do it out bitterness for the past, they dislike it because it had potential to surpass DBZ or atleast be just as great and it's just a giant meh.

Re: Nintendo Survey Asks Fans What Pokémon Games & Spin-Offs They Want

Bratwurst35

@Zoda_Fett True, but it's fun to imagine haha. I'd like to think there would be alot of traumatized kids whose parents picked up a copy by mistake.

All jokes aside. If that did happen, I'd imagine it be more of a persona light type game. After playing Pokemon survive, I think it would tense and mature enough to appeal to a certain crowd while still keeping some of the light heartedness as to not give the brand a negative image.

Re: We've Played Sonic Frontiers, But What Did We Think Of It?

Bratwurst35

@Vil Sonic has had a very rough transition into the 3d sphere. Too much gimmick ideas and bad decisions.

That's one of the core issues with Sonic. You have very good ideas, only they are buried underneath a pile of crappy ones.

Sonic Adventures games: Cut out everything that isn't Sonic and Shadow, you'd have very good games there.

Sonic Heroes: Cut out everyone else but the main team, you'd have a nice game there.

Sonic '06: Cut out management and you'd have good game.

Sonic Unleashed: Cut out the werewolf.

Sonic Wii Adventures, Shadow the hedgehog, Sonic Lost World, Sonic Boom, and Forces: Cut out everything and you'd have a great non existent series of games

I just don't get why Sega thinks Sonic needs some sort of gimmick to be appealing. It's really telling when the best reviewed Sonic game in decades is one that relies heavily on nostalgia.

Personally, I don't want the future of Sonic to be endless clones of Sonic Mania. As much as I enjoyed that game, I don't want to be what only works for Sonic as a concept going forward.

I do believe a 3d Sonic can achieve 10/10, just whoever is in charge and green lighting these awful ideas is what's hindering that.

Re: We've Played Sonic Frontiers, But What Did We Think Of It?

Bratwurst35

@piecez I think Sonic's speed is what hinders him when placed within a 3D plane. Mario works because he's one superpower fits well in just about any space.

Sonic on the other than is built always around the idea of never slowing down. That works great in on a 2D plane, but it's terrible in 3D. He just moves too fast even when going as slow as possible.

If I could change one thing it would be halving Sonic's speed. it looks like motion sickness in 3D.
