After an incredibly long wait, this month Switch owners will finally get their hands on PlatinumGames' new title, Bayonetta 3.
Ahead of the game's launch on October 28th, Nintendo has shared a news post on its website introducing players to the main cast of characters in the game. There's the main Umbra Witch Bayonetta, her best friend and rival Jeanne, the mysterious witch in training Viola and the bright and toothy Cheshire.
PlatinumGames has also started up a Bayonetta 3 developer blog. In the first one, director Yusuke Miyata broke down the Nintendo Direct "Ways of the Witch Trailer". Take a look on Platinum's website.
The original Bayonetta game also got a physical release in certain parts of the world last week, although it was unexpectedly delayed in the UK and Europe. Bayonetta 1 and 2 also received new updates on the Switch, adding additional language support.

This game.
Replaying Bayonetta 1 (physical copy) on the Switch right now... then will progress to Bayonetta 2 before finally getting on to Bayonetta 3. So much fun action!
So excited for this! I wish it would come out sooner!
Swear I saw all this on the switch home screen days ago.
I've had the digital version of the first game since it came as a download code in Bayonetta 2. I'll still go ahead and double dip since it's such a great game and I'd really rather have it on a cart anyway. Do you guys and gals who buy physical buy them directly from Nintendo or is Amazon or ordering from stores themselves more your preference?

@AX-7 Yes... Kinda (I think it is more with the storyline of what's going on).
The Bayo we play in Bayonetta 3 has a different voice actor than the previous.... But I have a feeling there is a reason, I think her old VC is voicing someone else
Nice, can't wait. This will be a nice way to end the crazy month(release wise) of October.
@AX-7 The game will feature multiple Bayo's so there's speculation that the Bayo we play as isn't our one from past games hence the voice change, however many think are one will appear in the story and will be voiced by her original actress.
Still mildly annoyed they recasted Bayonetta. Nothing against Hale, but she got one of those voices where I just hear it everywhere. It sounds like she’s doing an accent.
The equivalent would be casting Nolan North as Kratos.
Helena Taylor was perfect.
Haha, the writing's a little too peppy to me, but it's nice to have an on-point summary of the cast. ^^

I have a slight feeling it won't quite feel like the two previous episodes , but I'm totally here for it.
.....I forgot this game was coming out towards the end of this month. lol
