@SalvorHardin hate to say it, but that's the most accurate description of Tangle and Whsiper you'll ever see. Niche as in they'll never reach the main Sonic cast, popular as in they're probably the most popular spinoff characters, period.

Honestly, I'm totally fine with some games being only for people you know. Overcooked would be no fun if you played with ransoms online, and I would think the same would be said for Mario Party and the like.

Oh yeah, eight gen Nintendo stuff had so many little things I loved about them. While I do like how sleek the S2 is, a little bit more whimsy would do it a lot of good.

I found Nintendo Life crediting Time Extension much funnier than i think it had any right to be.

I'm ngl, i know nothing about Goemon besides the fact i used some of his spirits in SSBU. I'll maybe give it a try if it's ever translated into english.

I would pick up Jamboree, but I'm too lonely. It's nice to see more languages supported, though. More variety in game options overseas is great!

Hmm, like Kraven, Ive never played a Tales game despite being a big JRPG person. Symphonia is in the backlog, so I think Ill play it soon to see if I like the franchise, and if I do, pick this one up when it comes out because frankly, it just looks cool.

Thanks for including my letter! Honestly, the thing that caught my eye the most was the fact that there is a new good Bubsy on its way. I am now incredibly interested, as Bubsy on NSO was a "so bad it's good' game, so I'm interested to see what a genuinely good one is like.

I played Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter on Switch 2, then instantly went and played through the sequel on Steam. This has become one of my favorite series ever, and at this point Im only three games in. I will absolutely be buying this remake when it comes out.

Voted for Europe because I liked how the sprites were on the box. Most games back then (and even now) dont do that, and it's neat!

"The best music game out of Koei Techmo so far? You betcha." But does it have a Bernadetta and Marianne support? Thought not. Three Hopes remains winning.
I kid, I kid. I like ToTK, but the Warriors games aren't my cup of tea personally. Might pick it up when my backlog isn't so long.

I love Crypt, and Rift is on my wishlist. I might pick this up when it comes out on Switch.

@Truegamer79 Eh, I wouldn't say that games nowadays aren't made with passion and heart, or that games back then were (have you seen 80% of the NES/SNES/Genesis NSO libraries?). There are still plenty of games out here with passion, you just can't look at the call of duties or the FIFAs to find them.
Being intentional about what you play really allows that to shine through, and I'm happy to be a gamer right.

As someone who is an American who is also 16, yeah, I probably won't get much out of this. Not that that's a problem on the game's part though. Not every game needs to appeal to every audience!

I think this is one of my favorite article that I've read on this site in awhile. The writing is excellent, storytelling is done incredibly well, and it reminded me that Home Circuit is a thing that existed. Would gather my friends and try it with them, but unfortunately, everyone I know is in college or is busy preparing for it. Spectacular article.

Hmm, pretty good review. I'm too invested in the Trails series right now, and Octopath 0 is coming out soon, for me to pick this up, but i will probably pick it up around the holidays.

Maybe it is just because I'm biased towards Smash, but this game seems to just... not work with it's crossovers as well as Smash Bros. Dont get me wrong, I think the initial Yakuza, Miku, and Persona crossovers work just fine, as does the Megaman one and the TMNT one, but like, Minecraft Creeper? Spongebob? They just don't seem to fit, which is weird to say in a franchise with as zany a cast as Sonic, I know.

The low number of reviews and a high score reminds me of how a few days ago, on this site, Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter's NS2 version has a 9.9 star rating.
Either way, game seems cool, backlog is miles long, so I won't be picking it up.

If you have a few friends to play with, you should absolutely pick up Rounds! I have it on steam, and it is absolutely amazing to play with friends!

Pardon my short memory, and I've only been on this website for ~3 years, but is this the lowest review score for a Nintendo published game... Ever? Honestly, I'm a big FE fan, installed the game, played it for two hours, then didn't care about it again, so I didn't see the p2w stuff mentioned here, so the 4 shocked me.

I love how there is this tiny little ecosystem of Square JRPGs/TRPGs whose artists make crossover art for their games, it's genuinely one of the coolest things for me. Do more crossovers like this, please media.

Octopath Traveler 0 is my most anticipated game at the moment, full stop. Pre ordered the collector's edition and I cannot wait for the game to release.

Huh. Somehow the six surprised me, despite the negativity on display in the article. Maybe I was focused on the high points a decent bit more?
Anyways, sounds like a fun game for an audience that I quite definitely am not.

They added Nino last month, so I'm sadly not gonna use any of these right now, but I'll probably pick a few up for future use.

I'm sorry, but this is the same problem i have with that other Pokemon-like that is "Pokemon but edgy," in that, who wants pokemon but edgy???????? Middle schoolers? It's just edginess without a purpose beyond itself, and I can't get behind that.

@Misima Did you read the article? They ban the console for running two identical copies of the same game, not for buying used.

The review read like a 9/10 so I'm surprised to see an 8/10.
Either way I've been interested in this game for a few months now so i might pick it up soon enough.

@Saturn589 I was hunting for the remake for the past six-ish months, but I found a copy of the original at a used games store for $25 and decided to pick it up over the remake since the cheapest price I found for that was around $75.

Unfortunately I've only played one new S1/2 game this year- MKW- so I can't really touch on the GOTY conversation. What I can say, however, is that despite only being five hours in, I'm adoring Radiant Historia for the DS at the moment. Probably my favorite game I've played this year.

I've had Until Then and Robot Girl's Dream on my Steam wish list for awhile, so if they don't feature on the Steam Summer Sale I'll pick them up.

Not surprised that they're taking action. The whole bricking thing has gotten a lot of PR lately, however, so I'm pleasantly surprised that they're retaining how they handed out bans before.
