Was going to buy for Switch 2 but obviously hasn't been optimised for the new system. So decided to get PS5 version instead. Loved the demo so still buying.

Who in there right mind would say its abysmal. Obviously you don't appreciate real videogaming. Both Galaxys are masterpieces.

Have both on Wii, have the 3D allstars on Switch, purchased Galaxy 1&2 now aswell. Love these games. Just couldn't resist to buy again.

Unfortunately this looks terrible, should be pixel art in my opinion.

So how come this was never an issue on Switch 1. Most titles are on the physical card.

Its amazing have on Steam deck, preordered Switch physical version. Also I have a naughty bootleg Megadrive cartridge, which runs great on original tech. Hopefully next year will buy the actual Megadrive version.

So can he explain to us 3DS owners how shutting down the Eshop is a good thing. Can't buy anything again!! Can only download existing stuff you purchased. Just think the amount of games that are practically gone forever. Same goes for Wii.

Its a joke you have to have an online membership to purchase. Nintendo management is taking the piss nowadays. Greed is obviously more important than there fanbase.

Great news!! Have the Wii versions & the 3D all stars on Switch. Will get this for the collection to play on Switch 2. Can't wait to play through Galaxy 2.

@Aloha yes i see your point, that's whst sways me to Switch 1/2 the portability.

Key cards, that's the problem, I want this game, & Little nightmares 3. But they are both key cards on Switch 2. So will probably buy on PS5.

Have the original game for Switch 1. Absolutely love it. Will be definitely getting the upgrade to play through again with the extras:)

Ordered physical version on switch, couldn't resist. That boxart alone was enough lol 😆 but Salamander 3 tipped me over. I have Salamander 2 on the Saturn which is brilliant. And many other Gradius/Salamander ports across other systems. But I like the rewind features on this new collection.

@ShieldHero hey we can both dream lol, personally would love to see a new Starfox, Pilot wings, F-zero, this gen. But I won't hold my breath.

I have a Switch & Steam deck. Both brilliant, sick of these comparisons. I haven't got a switch 2 yet, but I will get one & I'm sure I'll love it just as much.

Looks amazing & I will get it, but I still prefer the side scrollers. From DKC 1,2,3, Returns, Tropical freeze. But hey that's just me.

The Switch still holds up, amazing looking game.

Unfortunately with consumers demanding more & more each gen. Games are so big physical storage is becoming less sustainable. Hey & I'm not defending digital. I'm the biggest fan of physical media. But like I said the gamers always want more & more then moan when ***** like this happens. Unfortunately games aren't in Megabytes anymore.

Brilliant article, preordered months ago now. Totally agree with the 80s & 90s being the golden era's of gaming.

I agree but they have to make it clear for the clowns out there. Who will buy it then moan it doesn't work on Switch.

Not great in my opinion, the cheesy American actors playing Mario kart was cringe. Games definitely not exciting. Except for Metroid, Donkey Kong, Mario kart.

Awesome boxart, best reveal in the show, the only game to make me want a Switch 2.

Show was a big disappointment until this saving grace.

It's probably going to end up disappointing.

Switch 2 is more important to me, I have an original Switch & Steam deck. So zero interest in this thing.

Let's hope it's worth the wait.
