Whoever reviews these games is laughable, this game is a shmup. The design & essence of this type of game doesn't have loads of depth and huge levels. Gamers like me who love these type of games, no exactly what to expect. Fun, replayability, addictive gameplay.

The thing that gets me is the hardware being locked behind a subscription. Then you can't own the games. Basically your renting them. But as im a sucker I want one lol 😆 😂

No surprise there, they want you to pay a subscription so you never own the games. Just let me buy the damn games I want. Its like the virtual boy. You can't buy the device unless you have a Nintendo subscription!! That really pisses me off.

@Strumpan agreed, dont get this obsession with every game needing to be 30+ hours. Those games bore me.

Love these games, definitely getting this now, run time isn't an issue for me. Its all about quality over quantity, 30+ hours of padded out ***** ain't my thing.

@mlt there are ones for Switch 2, that's the one im looking at on Ebay.

@mlt checkout the STARTRC head set basically it fits on your head with actual straps.

Im really interested in Dezaemon Plus, but hopefully it gets an English translation. Else its pointless.

If the focus is single player, story driven im in, if not, then forget it.

Personally more retro stuff, from Sega, Namco, or more news on a 2D Metroid. More retro shmups.

As much as I love Sonic. Its about time Sega dug deep into its amazing back catalogue of arcade titles. And brought em back, a new Sega rally, Daytona, Outrun, would be great.

Really pisses me off, you can't just buy the VB add on, without an online membership. Yes i know i would need one to play the games. But at least give me the choice!

You should know by now, patience is required especially with Nintendo announcements. I have a back catalogue on various formats to work through. So in no rush, unfortunately dont have as much time as i would like to game. Let's be honest Switch 2 has long legs like Switch 1. So plenty to look forward to.

Looks amazing, even more amazing if Nintendo bring us Mario galaxy 3.

Nintendo is KING !! its funny how the haters just can't deal with it. Its all about frame rates & resolutions to most of these clowns. I play videogames for gameplay first & foremost.

@Davestator I know the feeling mate lol , i have a retro freak console. So i can savestate still struggle with this one. Im hoping for Rtype delta HD boosted for Xmas, no doubt another struggle. Personally I would like these devs to put an easier mode on these games, for old farts like me lol

@Davestator yes i know the feeling, shmups are my favourite genre. But this game kills me. I can never get past the level where the screen scrolls backwards, drives me mad lol.

@WheresWaveRace oh yes I forgot lol, that's why the reviews for T2 suck. Im surprised its not roguelike, Metroidvania, then it would get an extra point or more lol. The negatives are a joke though, the things they downplay are part of the games designs. Its a joyful arcade experience, made for gamers who love the 16bit 32bit eras.

@ozwally I get it, for me personally I don't have the time or the inclination to play these openworld games. They bore me anyway. I prefer linear, T2 is well up my street. Also im playing through Metroid beyond at the moment.

So when was linear a negative.

Still sounds brilliant & will be getting soon as. But I wish openworld games would just F**k off. This damn obsession with it in the industry is beyond a joke!!

@sixrings its nice if its there, but frame rates & resolutions aren't the be all & end all of gaming. Some of the best games ever aren't in HD & certainly not 60fps.

Still have the original PS1 version, will be getting remake for Switch. Personally would of liked Savestates but hey.

Super Mario galaxy 3 on Switch 2 would be even better.

I like the design, at the end of the day there's always going to be slight changes in the movie character models.

Yep its still absolutely amazing, should be 10/10. Both Mario Galaxy 1&2 are masterpieces.

Deserved, its funny how some say it isn't, its just switch 1 but a bit more. Nintendo probably played it safe for sure. But if they really innovate they are criticised again lol.
