For me personally one of the greatest shooters ever. Been waiting for the sequel for years. One day my dream might be a reality. To this day Axelay shows what the Snes is all about just amazing.
Absolutely love the 3DS, let's face it. Its one of a kind. Started playing mine again. Kirby Deluxe is fantastic with the 3D. And with the news of the eshop on 3DS closing next year I have snapped up some games that will disappear forever never to be experienced properly. Nintendo should bring the 3D back on its next console or go VR. I could go on about some of the other amazing 3D games on this wonderful system but I'll leave it there.
Its amazing can't stop playing, love everything about it. When I play games this good, it reminds me why I love gaming. This is why i love Nintendo the best 👌
80s and 90s was the golden age of gaming, the 16bit era especially. Even though Nintendo are still amazing today. Playing Kirby this weekend cements that for me personally. Alot of games today aren't particularly fun, to serious for there own good, and no replay value.
Deservedly so, absolutely brilliant game. Everything about it screams quality. Best game I have played in ages. Proves 2D gaming is alive and kicking, thank God.
And that's why it's my favourite console ever!! Loved the tech then. Love the tech now. Some of the best games ever created exist on this wonderful system.
I'm a diehard retrogamer, this does nothing for me. The over the top power sliding, and the bland colour just doesn't match anything its trying to emulate.
Still miss Sega hardware, even though its great Sega games are on different systems. Funny that back in the day you would not of dreamed about Sega games on a Nintendo console.
Cannot believe Konami have neglected Castlevania, and plenty other games in there back catalogue. I want to see a proper Castlevania game with the same qualities as Metroid dread. Also I want to see Contra, Gradius, Parodius, all reborn. And I'm still waiting for the sequel to Axelay, oh and bring out a new version of Space Manbow. The list goes on, who ever is in charge at Konami needs sacking, when your sat on these amazing franchises basically left for dead.
For me personally would love to see Nintendo and Sega work together again. Or even better colaborate on new Hardware, just a big pipe dream that one!! But a new F-zero would be great 👍
Have high hopes for this one, not into open world games. But it may work in Sonics favour, having all that space with speed might really work. As long as the levels are creative and designed well, and doesn't end up being some broken bore fest aimlessly wondering around.
Sad news indeed, unfortunately most will never experience the glory days of the arcade back in the 80s and 90s. Playing cutting edge, instant fun games, timeless classics. Will always remember the first time I played Outrun, Daytona USA just incredible. Then nothing in the home market came close, yes things caught up fast!! But the arcade experience was/is golden!!
@Iconoclysm Everyone has to start somewhere difference is Sony invested in creating new IPs with great 1st party devs, making the PlayStation brand the force it is today. Sony certainly isn't anywhere near falling on the sword just yet!!
The bottom line is Microsoft know they can't compete with Sony or Nintendo for quality AAA games. So they have to buy as many 3rd party publishers as possible to keep Xbox afloat. Absolute joke really, but that's Microsoft for you, bottomless pockets. They have to win!!! They relied on 3rd party in the 360 era, then with no IP of there own the wheels fell off on Xbox one. So now it's eliminate the competition, buying everything in sight.
A modular stick would be amazing, where you can swap out sticks, trackball, spinner, rotary stick, even a wheel. Anyone remember the Konix multisystem that machine would of been a dream. Especially the modular design.

Metroid 4 is being Primed!! (Get it) for the next gen Nintendo console in my opinion. This title is at least 2 years away I reckon.
