@Chunkboi79 I had this debate with someone else, I don't care to be honest I have no interest in the steam deck. I prefer Switch, and will personally wait for the next Nintendo system anyway. Enjoy your Steam deck, but its not for me.
Feel Nintendo's concern, personally don't want the Switch to end. Hopefully Nintendo just need to make the next system a more powerful hybrid. Or I would love to see Nintendo go full on with VR, imagine Mario Galaxy 3 VR !!!
Personally I love it especially the 3rd person view of Samus. And the way it snaps to first person. Just underrated in my opinion. Would Personally like to see metroid 4 using this type of engine. Obviously a bigger world to explore.
Yes this has been on Steam for a few years now, played on my laptop. Will be nice to experience on console. Its very good but still not a patch on the best Japanese shmups. In my opinion!!
Absolutely love the visual style, quality 90s Saturn stuff. Such a change from the typical clean flash game visuals, which lack that certain charm most of the time.
Luckily have the original on my Saturn, fantastic game. Play it regularly, along with hyper duel another Technosoft classic. And the Saturn version is superior to the arcade.
Luckily i own a lot of retro games and systems, I will keep collecting until I'm six feet under. But there definitely needs some sort of proper preservation for the industry we love. Also thank God for Mame without it most amazing arcade games would be lost forever.
The Legendary Konami of old no longer exists unfortunately. Its hard to believe its the same company. Unbelievable when you consider the incredible franchises they refuse to reanimate.
When Video game magazines were exciting, full of passion. The days when you couldn't wait for the next months issue. Unfortunately most magazines are soulless over priced rubbish now. Also with the Internet, gaming news is at your fingertips. Still can't beat a good mag though.
With regards to being over 80s racers, I will never be over them. I'm a diehard retro gamer. Personally I get fed up with these imitation games trying to be all retro. Some nail it most don't, what really needs to happen is for Sega to convert all it 80s and 90s racers to Switch then we will truly experience the golden era of arcade racing.
For me personally one of the greatest shooters ever. Been waiting for the sequel for years. One day my dream might be a reality. To this day Axelay shows what the Snes is all about just amazing.
Absolutely love the 3DS, let's face it. Its one of a kind. Started playing mine again. Kirby Deluxe is fantastic with the 3D. And with the news of the eshop on 3DS closing next year I have snapped up some games that will disappear forever never to be experienced properly. Nintendo should bring the 3D back on its next console or go VR. I could go on about some of the other amazing 3D games on this wonderful system but I'll leave it there.
Its amazing can't stop playing, love everything about it. When I play games this good, it reminds me why I love gaming. This is why i love Nintendo the best 👌
80s and 90s was the golden age of gaming, the 16bit era especially. Even though Nintendo are still amazing today. Playing Kirby this weekend cements that for me personally. Alot of games today aren't particularly fun, to serious for there own good, and no replay value.
Deservedly so, absolutely brilliant game. Everything about it screams quality. Best game I have played in ages. Proves 2D gaming is alive and kicking, thank God.
And that's why it's my favourite console ever!! Loved the tech then. Love the tech now. Some of the best games ever created exist on this wonderful system.
I'm a diehard retrogamer, this does nothing for me. The over the top power sliding, and the bland colour just doesn't match anything its trying to emulate.
