@Danrenfroe2016 I would use passthrough but my receiver is 4k60, not 4k120hz. So I would lose the 120hz option. I bought a HDMI splitter to have the audio go to the receiver and video to the TV. It works.

I hope this fixes the 5.1 surround issue when docked. Basically 5.1 will not work through ARC, it has to be eARC because Nintendo doesn't want to pay Dolby for codecs. They will only use linear PCM 5.1 which is very limiting and only certain newer setups can take advantage of it. Many people might not even know they aren't getting proper surround because their receiver is upscaling the audio into Dolby Surround. But it's really just stereo playing out of the rear speakers.

I bought 2! They are incredible controllers.

@TheExile285 right now Switch 2 only has a user base of maybe 5 million. It's a yearly release, when switch 2 is at 15 million next year they will spend the time and resources focusing more on the switch 2 version.

Interesting physical cards are slower than the internal and SD express. One less reason to buy physical.

Technically this is the first major 3rd party game that isn't a port from years ago.

After watching the DF review of the system and finding out the physical cards load significantly slower than the internal storage and SD express memory I've decided I'm going to pass on physical copies.

Nintendo should sell their proprietary compression technique to Activision and EA.

How about where we can actually buy a Micro SD express that's larger than 256gb outside of the US? It's like they don't exist. It's tough going from 1tb which was full down to 512gb total storage on Switch 2 😭

Not sure you can say "the jury's still out on joycon durability" and put it in the negative when we don't even know. It's a neutral point not a negative one.

I find the screen to look better than the OLED. It looks more natural and crisp. But that's just me.

This story needs an update. The entire game plus upgrade is on the same cart. The OG story was a complete fake. No one bothered to investigate any further.

I think Nintendo can afford a checkmark. Also their Switch 2 promo vid from January got like 40+ million views on X in a couple days. I really doubt they would give that up.

Now we can see just how niche Blue Sky is. The same user posted it on X and it has nearly 10,000 likes. Has 300 on Blue Sky. Anyways, it's a much more mature looking Switch. I love it.

Developers getting switch 2 dev kits after launch is ridiculous thing to think. That's not happening.
