My hope is that Microsoft goes all in gamepass, no point making Xbox unless they change their strategy. Have no problem with gamepass being like an app like netflix on other consoles. More games is positive. All this «Microsoft is gonna consume everything» is bull in my opinion. I see a company that wants to be a «netflix for games», not buy Nintendo and Sony.

Would be Nice to have apps.

Still play and love mario kart 8, and will play it for a long time, but also feel like mario kart is ready for a fresh design with some new modes and ideas. 😊 Hopefully a MK9 is coming for the switch 2 within 1-2 years 😊

He should work for blizzard instead, very low expectations on dedication, thrive and quality in the enviroment and will most likely be One of the best there. 😆

Zelda needs better hardware with the direction they are going. Totk is obviously a good game, but suffer from not being able to up the game enough compared to botw, and meet peoples expectations, because of hardware limitations.
On a personal note, i feel they are also in a «we are not sure and confused bubble» with the series. Hopefully zelda can show itself more like mario wonder or even better in the future.

Im gonna Get a 1tb or 1.5 Tb for the switch 2. 512gb on switch is enough. Games on switch 2 will probably require more space, so 1.5tb might be a good option.

Agree on the cons based on the videos ive seen. Already pre ordered it, will be an awsome experience. Hopefully switch 2 will open the possibility of pushing these series Even further so the cons on mario Wonder will be dealt with 😊

Yes. Im just to lazy/busy now, im all digital. BUT, i would like to see the game industry offer some kind of 2-4 hour trial for each game to prevent alot more regrets without return option. And in some way, we have to solve the problem with servers/shops shutting down after x years. We should be able to play all of the games modes forever without compremise, and be able to access everything.
Would be cool to have the option to sell and buy used games through digital also.. if not through the system, than have a code or something unique connected to the game you have bought and bein able to sell that to the next.

Zelda can be more than ganondorf as last boss and link saving zelda. I wouldnt mind them creating a whole new story with link with a new arch enemy and different main quest, as long as they stick to the core elements that makes the zelda games a great adventure game.

It so wierd playing this game, then jumping on mk8 right after. MK8 feels so slow 😅

Dk64 and diddy kong racing NSO would be great. Also a new DK 3D game. Still hoping for a solid ARPG (diablo/PoE) game from Nintendo that is kid friendly

From what i can see, dk64 sold almost 5,3 million copies. Nr 7 on best selling n64 games. Is that a flop ? On top of that it has been given alot of love from speedrunners, streaming etc.

Gonna buy my first Pikmin game next week, Pikmin 4 😊

My predictions :
They will wait with announcing switch 2 until spring/early summer 2024 because of 2023 switch christmas sale and mario.

• Switch 2 will release between october - desember 2024.
• launch games will be mario kart 9, COD and 3D donkey kong.
• new online structure and VC.
• possibly a new type of social hub

Im more on the critical side regarding this article. I can see that they mean to hit a certain audience with this and make them flourish in a positive way, but the way this story is told and presented makes me think they are missing with their good intentions. It rather shows (like some have already mentioned) how our «new» obsticles in society creates unhealthy ways of living, thinking and being.

Would love to play this game, but then it would have to be my one and only, and i just cant do that.

Think this will be a pass for me. This game should have goten more love on a new switch 2. Love zelda, but now that ive goten older, have a family etc, ive got less time to play and need to be picky.. and this one looks like a 5/10, not worth it. To similar to botw.. looks like a dlc thats added some mechanics to kill time in a booring way. Not gonna set my Words in stone, since the gameplay video is so short, but so far, nah….

Not suprising. My guess has been for a long time that they will release a zelda tok switch oled as the last from this era, and then switch 2 will release summer/winter 2024, with maybe mario odyssey 2 as a launch game.

Would love to see several ports, but dont need them before a switch 2 has arrived with more juice. Developers clearly have struggles with delivering good ports already, maybe their fault, but even so, it is what it is. Rocket league is on switch, but is unplayble imo. Im not desperate for AAA 3rd party support, i have nintendo because i love nintendo games and their indie support, but would be a nice cherry on top of the cake if the switch 2 got enough power to deliver stable fps, full content and medium graphics for games like diablo 4, rocket league, no mans sky etc etc..

I guess the update deals with alot of bad Words in foreign languages. English is easy to control.

Would like to have the option to play COD on switch 2 with stable fps and ok/good graphics. there are several games struggling to be ok on switch, like rocket league. Have no interest in playing COD on switch 2 if its a downgrade like rocket league on switch.

Yes, but on the other hand, tencent is trying to get monopoly on the other side. This is west vs east, and «free» vs microtransactions/lootboxes. Im rooting on Microsoft, because the last thing i want, is tencent to inject more of their poison into the gaming industry. Tencent make good entertainment also, but their profit philosophy is not good for gamers/consumers.

So yeah.. Microsoft is now the western guard of gaming culture.. Sony should, like nintendo, focus on themself and how they can make a unique experience on their plattform, while Microsoft and tencent fight their Battle. Tbh, im not naiv… most likely are Sony playing this political Battle also, and seems like Sony stands with tencent.

This shows the difference between Sony and Nintendo. Nintendo got a full unique product with 100% confidence in what they do, therefor they dont care about what Microsoft do or dont do. Sony got their own good ips and design, but have zero confidence, they base everything on AAA 3rd party games. Maybe they Should respond by showing that they trust in their own work by announcing more PS uniqueness, own ips etc and stop trying to make themself a victim that is in soar need of products that isnt made by themself. Their PR manager needs to fix this, because they are really looking weak when they moan like this.. shut it and make your own fps shooter that can compete against cod. (Like Nintendo did with splatoon )

Have to be honest. If the new weapon break thing is still a thing on this one, im not so excited. Just dont understand why they design it like that. Alot more fun like in zelda ALTTP etc..

To be honest, i dont feel any need for a new release right now. Switch oled is good for atleast a couple of years in my opinion. So many good games on this machine, and more is coming. Graphics and World size is good enough. My backlog is huuuge also.
