She looks a little...different from what I remember.

I like it but I'm just not good at it and I'm not the sort that looks for "optimal character builds" or whatever, so I doubt my strategies will get any better. Feels like you really need to build your decks with a certain playstyle in mind but heck if I'll ever figure it out. The early stages are still fun though.

@Rina_Shiawase Of course, if you could read Japanese you could also just make a Japanese account and buy the Japanese version and have played it ages ago.

Nope, the switch gimmick won't work a second time. Nintendo will need to do something big, otherwise my priority will be the steam deck.

It needs to be in grander scale than below zero, that one felt more like it should have been DLC to the first one. Still decent fun but not as great as the original.

Undertale is a comparatively short game so you can knock it out quick and it wouldn't really add to the backlog and is a great experience.

All Logos should be done on MS paint from now on.

The saddest thing is that this terrible port is likely going to underperform and cause SE to kill the Chrono franchise for good...

Two point hospital was one of the few well optimized games of this style on the switch so I'm sure that they're taking the time they need to make sure that this game meets that standard too.

@Franklin Articles like this tend to get clicks from angry people who want to let everyone know that games like this are weird/disgusting or from horny people that want to defend it so I'd say that NintendoLife is just giving the people what they want.

@Ventilator Actually the only kart racer that I felt ever actually beat Mario Kart were the gods of the N64 themselves, Rare, when they created Diddy Kong Racing.

Another to add to the pile of kart racers that desperately wish they were Mario Kart.

@AW1Long I don't know if you follow Vtubers at all but a majority of the characters, lewd and all, are drawn by female artists. Same goes with a lot of manga.

Things are just... different in Japan. When they see an image of a big breasted girl they don't think that some woman somewhere was oppressed to create it, they think "that's some nice art" and then go about their day. This sort of game just isn't a big deal over there. They censor intense violence and gore though, which honestly makes more sense to me.

This is why I hate the mobile game-style grind in games like this. Especially if they have a daily login mechanic which subconsciously punishes you for daring to miss even a single day. Games like this start feeling like a job and turning on the game feels like you're clocking in for another day of work. It's just not fun and I can't understand why people enjoy games like this.

Plenty of switch owners out there that are starved for games to play. It's why it doesn't surprise me when every game that releases tends to be their best performing one yet.

I hope the braindead sports gamers that buy these every year get confused because it doesn't say FIFA on the box and don't wind up buying this EA garbage anymore. That would be a massive blow to microtransactions all on its own.

@Jooles_95 I'm a long time fan and unfortunately those things all stopped me from picking it up. Maybe if they bring it to steam or another home console I'll look into it but I did the same with Disgaea 6.

After watching several videos and seeing how the framerate chugs several times throughout, I think I'll pass. My sis bought the collector's edition though, which goes to show that the average person probably won't even care if it means they can marry their virtual wife/husband.

It just doesn't look like a game that seems to do anything special but if it's good, it's good. Happy for Kirby fans to get another great entry.

I never really see the use of folders, if the search options are good enough you don't really need them. Just filter the results any way you want and it's done.

My favorite, and likely many others judging from the comments, is definitely Turtles in Time. They remade the game on PS3 some time later but it just didn't compare to the SNES classic. Great to see I'll be able to relive a part of my childhood...and dive into new experiences I never had the opportunity to play.

This story is something else. Worse reaction than girls who get insecure over what fake virtual girls in video games look like.

I'm going to be picking this up on PS5...or maybe even the steam deck if I can get my hands on that by the time this comes out.

Not yet. I would have preferred a new game instead of another update to a now almost 10 year old game. The antigrav mechanic never really wowed me either.

@MARl0 I really wish NintendoLife would seriously talk about the performance more. A lot of the games that get high reviews never once mention that there are sections that drop frames and chug like crazy and it's something I'd like to know before buying a game.

I think the name is kind of wrong since it makes it seem like you're hunting for a wife. Wouldn't husband quest make more sense in this case since she's hunting for her husband? Or were they worried that people would think it's an Otome game? Either way, it's a weird and yet also kinda generic name.

Digital foundry will find and critique a single stone out of place. Not that I'm defending this port, I just sit there wondering "Who actually cares about the details THIS in depth when it comes to what they're playing?" Like, should I bothered that the 3rd bush out of the 30 on screen is missing some shadows? You know what you're getting into when you buy a switch game.

@icomma I'm usually critical of Nintendo and even I've gotta say I've got problems with Gran Turismo. For starters, the Sony price hike isn't worth it.. especially since the game is only marginally more powerful than the PS4 counterpart...so they're charging more for a resolution and framerate bump? Watch out PC gamers...

And secondly, the always online thing cannot be ignored. If this decision isn't reversed then someday when the servers go offline your game will be entirely useless, wether you bought it digital or physical. One can only hope that down the line Sony will remove this restriction but just imagine if you couldn't go back to say, Gran Turismo 4 just because the servers weren't on anymore.

Not sure how much I'll get into the master rank stuff but I'll definitely enjoy the expansion, put a ton of hours into the base game.

"battle passes" are trash in all respects. I absolutely hate them. Even on F2P games I despise them. They force you to play a game over a set period of time with a time limit constantly hovering over your head and the kicker is that unlike just buying a skin as a microtransaction, you need to pay for privilege to grind out the premium pass. Utter garbage. We see how egregious they can get with this game but when they add them to games that people enjoy, they'll get another free pass. Yet another way consumers get nickle and dimed to death.

@bluemage1989 Phil tells you that you're special and that he isn't seeing other publishers but then you find him in bed with that hussy Activision. He cannot be trusted.

Overwatch really fell off for me when Blizzard announced their eSports league. You could then tell that every balance update, every patch, every change was made with the eSports players in mind and not people like me who just like to get on and play some random heroes games, a few quickplay matches a week. Every few weeks characters were changed, things that I learned I had to unlearn and...it just overall became a very work-like experience. I'm honestly more interested in their PvE offerings now because you can't eSports that... hopefully.
