100% adding this gem to the collection—never thought I’d see the day
Big Apple, 3 AM!
I'm exited by this collection and fully plan to buy it, but it's hard to beat any news after we finally just got folders earlier today. 😀
I do wish the collection were a little cheaper though; I would have 100% paid 20 dollars just for turtles in time but I wasn't actively seeking the other games. It's nice to have the others but now it feels like I am paying for those also rather than getting a ton of extras for free. 😆
@Aurumonado Alleycat Blues!
Finally having all of these in one collection is insane. Easily the best part of Sony's State of Play. I will be getting physical AND digital for this one!
I don't even care about TMNT games but that collection is so huge you almost have to bite.
Pre-order in! Loved TMNT back in the day!
Feels so good to get that Pre-order in. This will definitly be a hot one. Now we just need that sweet release date.
This ... is everything.
@farrgazer @Aurumonado
Sewer Surfin'!
It also can't be stressed enough;
THANK THE GAMING GODS THIS ISN'T LIMITED RUN! YEEEEEESSS!!!
I'm not pre-ordering something that doesn't have a release date. Still though I am looking forward to these games as I played a lot of them back in the day.
@EVIL-C @farrgazer @Aurumonado
Technodrome: Let’s kick shell!
It’s beautiful…🥲
Yeap already got the collection pre-ordered.
@Aurumonado This here though 👍🏽
Never I imagined the whole TMNT videogame collection (including arcade games!) would be available to buy, and here we are now. And being able to play the arcade games online is just the slice of pizza we needed to hear.
@MasterGraveheart @EVIL-C @farrgazer @Aurumonado
Prehistoric Turtlesauras!!
PD: I had to check on Google... I always forgot the one from that stage
@cozathemaster @MasterGraveheart @EVIL-C @farrgazer @Aurumonado
Skulls and Crossbones..... Gotta love those trains!
The next stage has my probably my favorite alligator villain in any videogame. Take that K.Rool!
Im getting this physical, cause I know at some point it'll go Out of Print due to licensing issues. Excited about it. I just hope the soundtracks are the original ones unlike the Arcade1up version.
Yes Dudes and Dudettes Major league butt kicking is back in town!
I’m looking forward to trying the gameboy games just because I never played those. I wonder if this will have the rewind feature?
@Aurumonado
Big Apple 3 AM
Alleycat Blues
Sewer Surfin'
Technodrome Let's Kick Shell
Prehistoric Turtlesaurus
Skull and Crossbones
Bury my Shell at Wounded Knee
Neon Night Riders
Where no Turtle Has Gone Before
Am I missing any?
Honestly it’s still hard for me to believe a collection like this happening, but man am I glad that this is coming. Day 1 for sure.
I saw this revealed for PlayStation but I didn't know it was confirmed as coming to Switch. I just woke up not long ago and already I've been greeted with folders and now we have this.
Great start to the day.
I still can't believe this is releasing! Turtles in Time and Tournament Fighters are some of my most played games of my childhood for the SNES. I'm getting this collection day 1 for Switch and PS5 based on those 2 games alone. The other games are just a bonus for me!
My dream is becoming a reality.
@Paulo Technodrome The Final Shell Shock.
Strange to have pre-orders before a release date.
🤩I'll be getting this physical but I hope they do a 8-Bit and 16-Bit 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' collection soon.
@WhiteTrashGuy Why double-dip, if you don't mind me asking?
📊Great but who was the BEST 🐢Turtle?
When I was younger and watched the 1989 version, I'd say Michaelangelo.
But after watching the 2003 version, I now vote for Raphael.
@BlueGBAMicro The 2012 version does a lot for Leonardo and Donatello. Leo is more of a dork (really into a Star Trek style show and wanting to be "the hero") while Donnie is more neurotic and responds to Raph's comments.
@BlueGBAMicro
I want a hard copy for my collection in case it ever gets taken down and a digital copy so I can load it up whenever I want. #Laziness
My favorite, and likely many others judging from the comments, is definitely Turtles in Time. They remade the game on PS3 some time later but it just didn't compare to the SNES classic. Great to see I'll be able to relive a part of my childhood...and dive into new experiences I never had the opportunity to play.
This is the best surprise announcement of 2022 for me with Mario Soccer!
Along side Shredders Revenger this is a whole lot of TMNT in 2022!
This one is a no-brainer. It has SNES Turtles in Time and the 3 Game Boy games and that for me is more than enough.
I’m hoping this gets a U.K. physical release too. We do sometimes get screwed out of physical releases for some reason.
I don’t pre order games, will be getting this day one hopefully physical. Never thought I would see the day u could buy a cart with mega drive, SNES , arcade turtles on it ! Xx very excited xx
Cowabunga! replaying these games will be an absolute blast and I'm all for it. I remember playing only a handful of these so I'm excited to finally play the others; just in time for the new one too!
@Fishy def agree with you. a $20 TMNT collection would have been ideal but eventually every Turtle fan will fork over the $40. same issue with Ultra Street Fighter 2 to be honest
Getting this for nostalgic purposes because I was obsessed with TMNT when I was a kid in the 80's and 90's and had the NES games.
Day 1 pick up. Thanks KONAMI. Ballz
Day one Cowabunga!🐢🐢🐢🐢🐀
I don't understand why the superior SNES version of Turtles in Time isn't getting online when SNES Tournament Fighters is, but I'll probably be playing these all locally anyway - pretty psyched for this!
It could be a plain white box with the title in black Comic Sans on it, I’d still be thrilled to buy. 😁
I’m glad Konami is going the regular retail route this time, vs another long wait from LRG.
Just gimme the dates. Might go physical on this, but not if I have to wait a single second to play it, you hear me Bezos??? I want it NOW.
Sick Box Art!! I love it.
Definitely gonna get this collection for sure! I just wish we had a release date for it already.
@WhiteTrashGuy i do the same thing with some games i really want to collect but also want the convenience of digital...
wonder if they changed/fixed a problem with NES Tournament Fighters. Shredder had an E. Honda arm move that would pull in opponents and couldn't get back out of.
Still floored that Konami of all companies is releasing a collection this good. I hope the ports are solid. It's the one aspect that is giving me pause to make this a day one purchase. The collection and features are great. Please, please, please don't screw up the emulation/port.
Aaaannd preordered.
Definitely going to get this game. Day one.
I find it odd though for them to take pre-orders with no release date solidified yet. It's strange when anyone does this, not just for this game, especially when it's not a limited release.
I LOVE NOSTALGIA! This is a retro gaming lovers dream come true. Not pre-ordering but I will have this on day 1. I'm so excited I want to spend an hour falling thru the sewer grate just so I can read the words "who shut off the lights". CAN'T F$&#ING WAIT!
@Daggot
I think I read somewhere that M2 is handling the emulation. They are literally the best.
@WhiteTrashGuy @Daggot It's being done by Digital Eclipse who were behind the excellent Blizzard Arcade Collection, Street Fighter 30th, SNK 40th and many more. It's in good hands.
@KramersMrMarbles Prorders often give the publisher (and retailers) an idea on how much in demand the game is going to be, therefore how many copies to produce and ship. Release date doesn't necessarily factor into that too much
@ogo79 I expect lots of 0 and 10 reviews, because gamers don't believe in scores between. So hyperbolic.
I don't understand why people are in such a rush to still pre-order games. Not like this game will be out of stock on release. Guess people still haven't learned from pre-ordering based off hype.
@Cwiiis My guess is because the arcade version features 4 players, and the devs wanted to prioritize that. You can’t deny the chaos when you have more than 2 playable characters running, jumping, slashing and falling.
If I recall correctly, in the SNES version, the second player’s character is pre-determined when 1P is starting out solo. Only after a game over were you able to freely choose which turtle you want to play as.
My fave Heroes in a Half-Shell… Turtle Power!!!
I'm going physical and digital for this bad boy.
Pre-order? There isn't even a release date?
Have they confirmed that it includes the original game voice's too?
Just checked Amazon UK and it ain't there
Unless it's only live on Amazon US at the moment 🤔
@FullbringIchigo It's on Amazon US on all platforms for pre-order. Just checked!
https://amzn.to/3tzFziE
@stuntz0rZ i guess the UK one will go live in the next few days then
That's normally what happens
@ogo79 - I have an instant reaction vid on BumbleTube from MONTHS ago where I did every reaction possible to this, including happy and sad crying. I’m well known on that app for being the FIRST to cry about this game, so don’t even try to muscle in on my corner.
@Sam_TSM They're 20 year old games with added online. It's not like people don't know what they're getting with this one.
Low key, I would love to hear “cowabunga!” when I pick a game to play in this collection.
Wtf!? Only in the UK and the US...
@Patendo It would be cool if FX3 could get the Ninja Turtles pinball game to their Switch collection this year. That would really solidify it as the Year of the Turtle.
@FishyS Man, you are telling me. I really needed those folders. I have nearly 250 games on Switch. And before you ask, it wasn't very expensive to do. I have about 40 games that were just FREE. I have a bunch of games I paid under $1 for. And I have a bunch under $8. Only twice did I pay $60 for a game. Animal Crossing because I knew it would never go on sale. (And it really hasn't.) And also Guardians of the Galaxy. I shouldn't have waited on Guardians because it got a huge price drop later on. But I wanted to see if cloud gaming was any good. (I thought the streaming on Microsoft Game Pass was terrible, unplayable. And Stadia was decent, but not good enough to play. The Switch has it's quirks, but this cloud game is totally playable.)
