Hopefully this means there is big game coming in the first half of 2026 that they need the stock. New Mario or ocarina of time remake. One can dream right.

The Terminator game we wanted on the SNES finally releasing after 30 years of waiting.

I'm going to get this for my 5 year old. She has to wait to play it until she 6, once she's 6 she has to wait till she's 7, cause the box says so.

No offence to switch 2, but how is it a innovation as it's a more powerfull switch 1.

So what did they actually get? Information on unannounced games in development, employee data?

Mario and Wario looks fun, definitely going to try that one.

These are of fantastic quality I own the simple Mario Kart statue. Bought it for 80€. It was an impulse buy as I was hit by the nostalgia hammer when I saw it. This price though, ouch, you can buy more then 9 games with that.

@benmalsky198 the characters looked great in DK Bananza, I applaud Nintendo for finally adding so much expression in it's characters. The environments however didn't look as good as they could be, especially when you stand still and close to walls and buildings.

The games look better then switch 1, but it's very noticeable that these games were in development for Switch 1 at some point and they quickly switched over to the new console. Kirby air ride is the same, I do think the Nintendo games that will release next year will look much better as they will be developed for switch 2 from the start. We all know Nintendo can make amazing looking games when they want.

The games play great however and are fun, Wich is also important.

Wow, feels like I traveled back to the 90's while reading the comments. I enjoy Sonic crossworlds more this time. I was disappointed in Mario kart world to be honest. After 11 years of Mario kart 8 on Wii U and switch this was what they came up with.
Maybe it's because it was initially planned as a switch 1 game but graphically it didn't really move any mountain, though to ge honest none of the switch 2 first party games do. I found the environments lifeless and not only in the open world, but also in the races. Especially compared to previous Mario karts. It's kind of compatible like the transition from double dash to Mario kart Wii.

The gameplay is however still solid of MKW as is always with Mario kart. But this time, for me, Sonic wins the race for now. Some competition is good for the kart racing genre.

The game looks great, Warriors game are always fun.

Great boxart, even if I don't like the giant Fennec character design.

I'm sorry but they really lost all sense of reality after the success of the switch 1. Selling a game for 70 and not even two months later dlc for 20..

I'll buy it on sale sometime. Would have bought it if it wasn't a keycard. I honestly thought this would be completely on a card because the game is a big enough title to warrent it, or aren't there 128GB size cards?

Just hope for a new Mario, ocarina of time remake, revival of a old Nintendo IP, FF VII remake complete physical release ( I will triple dip if that happens). But we'll see, I keep my hype in check for now. To bad I'm working at the time of the direct.

Yeah... That seems like a soulslike thing to do. One of the reasons I almost never play these games.

Hoping for that glorious Zelda ocarina of time remake announcement. But will probably not happen, guess I'll settle for a new Mario and Metroid prime 4 release.

@BulkSlash pretty much almost every rpg before Pokemon, also games like Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Goof troop etc.

And people still think Nintendo is the nicest company. This mechanic has been used even on the way back in the day of the SNES and Mega Drive, and used in countless games. They shouldn't even be able to patent this and be able to use it order to target other companies for money. Nintendo are becoming there worse self again from the past.

In game purchases.... That does not bode well.

I dislike the key card thing and will only buy first party games on the switch 2. As a Nintendo fan I hink it's a solid line-up you have a new Mario Kart and a great 3D Donkey Kong game. Compare it to the past Nintendo consoles, it beats GameCube, Wii and Wii U.

@The_Nintendo_Pedant or the original Watership down. Cartoons were really dark back then in comparison to the soft movies these days. I watched Dumbo with my kids a while ago, they didn't seem notice those things though, they just like the elephant and mouse. I don't think we will ever see those kind of things from Disney again.

Never got to play it so going to give it a go. Hopefully they will be eventually be allowed to add games like Castlevania 64, Mega man 64, and both Goemon games.

@Olliemar28 if it's not announced this month I don't see it coming to Switch 2. The game has been present for many game events now, I don't also see any reason to keep a Switch 2 version a secret to he honest. The system is selling good. I hope for all the gamers who only own a Nintendo console it is coming though.

If they would they would have announced it already. It's time Nintendo,Sony etc. start announcing there plans ahead again so the so called influencers stop trying to get clicks by starting rumours every five minutes.

For Nintendo only gamers this will be a major upgrade. For others this might be a downgrade.

It's the small things that makes a game stand out.

30 fps isn't a big deal. At least it never bothers me, but I might be an old fossil in gaming years as I started gaming with NES. Remember those fps? You're character would just disappear on screen.

I'm just really curious to see if this will be completely on a card. This is the biggest title Square-enix is releasing for now on the switch 2, they should aim high, but I higly doubt it though. If it's fully on a physical card I might double dip.

PS5 version it will be then. This doesn't look good for third party support in the future. Nintendo needs to step up and release smaller sizes and just toss away key cards.

It's a fantastic game, and to be honest, I like it more then Mario Odyssey.

This wouldn't have happend if it had just evolved in Raichu.

That last question makes the survey completely irrelevant. This is just a way to tell people: See, everyone rather buys keycards instead of downloads. Should have a option, no I don't buy them because I want it completely physical.

Eurpe and Japan for me. The American version is wrong in so many ways. Looks like Mickey is holding something else in that area.

@sethfranum Relax, I was just being sarcastic, should have put a smiley to make it more obvious. They have the right to protect the things they create, however ray tracing isn't something new and Nintendo has a recent history of patenting something that was already there and sueing others after it. Nintendo isn't a saint in the gaming market, in fact if you look at their past, they are the worst. Doesn't change that they are still an amazing company with great games.

The more patents they have the easier it is to sue the competition out of the market.

What about Mouser and Ward from Mario bros 2 or other classic games. There were better Mario characters available then the ones we got to be honest.

@Olliemar28 @Anti-Matter I wouldn't be surprised if those games will actually use AI more then AAA. Those games are made to make fast cash, and the less they cost the better it is.

Let's just name it the Nintendo multiverse, no timeline needed anymore.

Mario sunshine was different then what we expected to get, but still a great game with a lot of challenge and good levels. I'm in the minority and think oddesy is the lesser of all Mario 3D games. This is mainly because of the realistic T-Rex, dragon and people walking in Donk city. It just doesn't match.

But this marketing stunt is something else, that Luigi is really going for it.

So much for nintendo building lasting hardware. Seems like the Wii is the last console to last a lifetime.

Going to check it when I'm back home.

I still dream of one Pokemon game, with all regions and all Pokemon to catch. One giant game.

Pointless comparison to be honest, as gaming wasn't as big back then as it is now. But great to see the switch 2 doing great, these sales just prove how big gaming has become. Who would have guessed this back then.

@PikaPhantom PS5 was launched in the middle of the pandemic. Wich created a lot of problems for them to get enough consoles supplied. It was the most difficult time to launch a console.

I sold my copy of Splatoon 3 because I expected that Splatoon 4 would be released around the switch 2 launch... Guess I was wrong.

Going to be playing Mario Kart world and maybe some breath of the wild.

I was going to get the PS5 version anyway, but this just confirms the Switch 2 will be my first party Nintendo machine. I hope Nintendo wakes up and bring smaller card sizes for third party developers. Most companies learn from mistakes in the past.

I'm really looking forward to this game and can't wait to play it tomorrow. But every time I see a screenshot of this game I feel disappointed. I mean just look at the screen with p switch. You can't tell me they are still not capable of making round tires or Mario's hat round instead of those hard blocky edges.

20 minigames and 14 tech demo's. Going by Nintendo standards it's a miracle they didn't ask 40 for this. The mini games look fun though.
