Just finished! As it was the first Paper Mario title I finished since the cross series game Paper Jam, I honestly enjoyed the laugh out loud dialogue & story. Just like everyone else thee only thing id change would be the battle system! Becomes a tad bit redundant after 30+ hours. Can’t wait to play the OG with N64 Expanded Pass!!

I wish more folks gave me a heads up on how amazing & laugh out loud funny Paper Mario Origami King is! On the last streamer and enjoying every minute of it. So much closer to Metroid Dread & I can’t wait!!!

EDIT- Paper Mario Origami King complete! Solid 8/10 with the perfect story.. only drawback is the battle style! Highly recommend and very addicting game with plenty of collectibles

Took some time beating all the Kirby x SNES games the past two weeks. A change was in order & decided to tackle some backlog before Metroid Dread takes over my life. The lucky winner ?Paper Mario The Origami King! I’m currently on the third streamer & everything about this game screams 10/10. Writing is laugh out loud funny and brilliant! How did I not start this sooner?

With the SNES 30 year anniversary here I decided to tackle a few games I hadn’t gotten around too. I beat Kirbys Dream Land 3 & I’m currently working on Kirby Super Star. I’m very impressed with Hal Labs SNES projects so far

After 240 hours of Monster Hunter Rise I’ve put it aside to focus on some SNES games. 30 year anniversary had me reminiscing. First one on the list ? Super Earth Defense Force

Shuffling between Monster Hunter Rise (200 hours in) scroll chasing & continuing my play-through of Monster Hunter World on Xbox Series X. It’s beautiful ! Also had some fun playing Clubhouse Games with sis earlier in the week & hopped on a twitch stream to play some Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ! A good week & weekend ahead to say the least! Still grinding my GOTY Monster Hunter Rise - now with Amaterasu! Trying to collect all the scrolls & relic messages the best I can! It’s crazy how deep some areas can truly be in example Sandy Plains. Without my search for those relics I would’ve missed all the intricate minor details Capcom has inserted

Rise Rise Rise! I’ve fallen in love with the franchise & I want more - so much so that I’ve gone & bought Generations Ultimate & World/Iceborne too!

Monster Hunter Rise even though Skyward Sword chatter keeps tempting me to buy it… but anytime I buy & start a 3D Zelda I never finish them! 😤 bought God Eater 3 on a sale as well

Not sure this is critically hated like some of y’all’s but - the og Bubsys because a friend of mine grew up on it. Memories I cherish

After 155 hours of Monster Hunter Rise I tried the Monster Hunter Stories 2 trial & it just was not my cup of tea. So I went back- purchased Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate! Loving every minute of it like Rise so far and can’t wait to slowly get through it over the next several months until Rise gets a bigger update

Tried the Monster Hunter Stories 2 demo… not my cup of tea. Back to Rise & enjoying my daily couple quests. I’ll start Monster Hunter World at some point if I run out of things to do in Rise.

I’ve been tackling Super Metroid all week. Finally made it to the second Ridley fight! Will hopefully finish that. As always, Monster Hunter Rise daily & getting my hand on the Monster Hunter Stories 2 Trial. Loving Stories animation, battle system and storytelling so far! Idk if I’ll ever put Rise down 😅

Can’t wait! Rise was my first MH but I’ve always been a Pokémon guy… this seems right up my alley. Also those wide open areas look fantastic! Day 1

So ready for Dread! Will replay Super in the meantime.

Smash & Mario Kart are my two digitally downloaded games that shall forever be on my switch. Easier to switch between games when friends are over. The one game I downloaded THINKING id play forever yet don’t - Animal Crossing. I burnt out way to fast and archived it. Oh well. Everything else is physical or archived when not in rotation

Im much more excited for this than the Mario Party game. Bring it on Wario

I had myself a Nintendo fan boy day on the beach this past Tuesday! Between the direct and finishing the Ask Iwata memoir, amazing is an understatement.

I’m also still grinding through Monster Hunter Rise. I gave a fair shot to Game Builder Garage and Bioshock this week but they didn’t keep my attention. Rise until the Stories 2 demo comes out!

New Metroid and castlevania gba games in the same year? Sign me up

Hey hey! Finally got past the Advanced Quest in Monster Hunter Rise this past week so I ATTEMPTED to play other games- including Game Builder Garage. A huge failure! Nothing beats the addictive grind so I’m back at it, awaiting new quests & content. Until then i shall be forging & trying new weapons. I’ll sprinkle in a few Mario Kart 8 Deluxe races here and there with the sis.

110 hours in myself on Rise. I don’t think I’ve dedicated this much time into a game since Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

I didn’t particularly like how easy sonic forces was with the infinite lives x grading system…. But sounds like this is the direction they wish to go

Currently challenging the advanced quests in Monster Hunter Rise. Title update 3.0 & Valstrax have taken over most of my evenings. Sitting at 105 gameplay hours - most I’ve put into a game in years

With the 3.0 title update It’s been nonstop Monster Hunter Rise for me! I was slightly behind but finally caught up to the update this week so I’ll be grinding to HR100 for the Valtrax quest

I actually got to play some Super Mario Sunshine yesterday! a 5 year old brought his Switch to dinner at my restaurant & was stuck on the opening level cause he couldn’t figure out how to aim the FLUUD. Naturally, I helped and found out he’s been stuck at that point since Christmas! I’m not sure how far he’ll get haha sunshine is not easy!

Once again I added a couple more games to my backlog- Burnout Paradise was on sale for 10 dollars and I found a crazy sale for Immortals Fenyx Rising for 22. Will I ever get to them? Not if Monster Hunter: Rise has its way with me. I have finally walloped the Thunder Serpent Narwa & am now pacing myself with the 2.0 and future 3.0 content updates this coming week. Rise is clearly making a case for my GOTY & per thee other discussion article it has made it into my top 5 games too. I find doing quests solo very rewarding where as getting into multiplayer becomes too chaotic for me.
Also managed to pull away for just a tad bit to wrap up Fire Emblem Three Houses. Something about the story just didn’t quite grasp me the way the GBA ones had me. But another off the backlog ! Might try to finish Astral Chain or Mario Rabbids DK DLC next
