Another busy week in the world of Nintendo comes to a close. This week saw a bunch of Switch OLED videos popping up on the interwebs as the consoles find their way into the wild ahead of next week's launch, a new Pokémon was unveiled, the rebooted GamesMaster got its presenter, and the N64 turned 25. Again. In North America.
After all that it's time to chill out and discuss our weekend gaming plans. A few members of the Nintendo Life team have done just that below, so feel free to give our entries a read and then join in with your own via our comment section. Enjoy!

My excitement for Metroid Dread is getting almost out of hand, so at the moment I'm switching between Metroid: Samus Returns and Metroid Fusion while I wait — the former for those MercurySteam mechanics and the latter as the immediate predecessor. Why isn't it 8th October yet?
Beyond that I'm still enjoying some brain-dead brawling in Marvel's Avengers, which has fun campaigns that make the online multiplayer stuff easy to ignore.
Jon Cartwright, video producer
Mad to think next weekend we'll all be telling everyone how excited we are to play Metroid Dread! Putting yourself in stasis for a week when you're meant to be working seems frowned upon so I suppose I'll be playing something else this weekend.
I've got a few gaps in my Castlevania portfolio, specifically on GBA where I've only played Aria of Sorrow. Thankfully Castlevania Advance Collection just released and I know the other two games don't get the same amount of love but I'm still eager to form my opinion on them .- naturally starting with Circle of the Moon. With rumours of a new instalment bubbling about, now seems like a very good time to dive further into the series.
Kate Gray, staff writer
This weekend is EASTWARD WEEKEND, baby! I wish I could play The Forgotten City again, but I know all the twists, so instead I'll just tell YOU to play it. In Eastward, on the other hand, I'm only a few hours in, and I'm not sure what it's really about yet, so I assume there's a lot more to see and learn. It's fun!
Ollie Reynolds, reviewer
Hi folks! I'm still plugging away at Castlevania Advance Collection this weekend. I'm jumping between the games at the moment, but focusing a lot on Aria of Sorrow right now. It's a belter, isn't it! Having lots of fun with the collection, but it's clear Circle of the Moon has aged quite a lot in the years since its release.
Elsewhere, I downloaded AI: The Somnium Files on the Series X. It's a nice palette cleanser after last weekend's Halo Infinite flight, and it's keeping me busy until the launch of Alan Wake Remastered (which I cannot wait for!).
Gonçalo Lopes, reviewer
How is everyone so calm when we are less than one week away from Metroid Dread? Sure, this was yet another wonderful week on the eShop with zany action in Antonball Deluxe, hilarious UnMetal shenanigans and a welcome wave of nostalgia coming in hot from both Castlevania Advance Collection and Hot Wheels Unleashed. Should be a great weekend… counting the days until Samus once again graces my TV set.
Game of the week is G-Darius HD. A personal PS1 favourite back in the day is now a personal Switch favourite in glorious HD remastered edition. Don’t even get me started on the Zuntata soundtrack. Meditation indeed!
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave us a comment below with your weekend gaming plans!

Hmm...think I'll play MonkeyBall.
(No, it's not as good as the Gamecube version...but what is? Still having lots of fun with it!)
No More Heroes III for me!
I'll be continuing Shadowverse: Champion's Battle this weekend. I've been taking my time with the game, doing all the friendship and side quests, and a lot of battles with random NPCs along the way. The card game is so deep and satisfying that the combat never gets old. I finally picked up AI: The Sominum Files because it was on sale on the eshop, so I'm excited to try that as well! If I have any extra time I'll play some more Monster Hunter Stories 2.
Completely sucked up in the "Castlevania Advance Collection" and "Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night". The latter finally clicked with me and I enjoy it a lot, even in the Switch version. Strangely you have to crank up the brightness of the system to make out the graphical details. Seems obvious, but it's oddly different from any other game I've played on the Switch and also seems somewhat independent from the gamma configuration. Can't quite explain it. Anyway, fun game. There's no Metroidvania, than an actual Metroidvania.
I also throw in "The Takeover" for more 2D-action-goodness I can't get enough of.
Well, I managed to get the reward for collecting all the Power Moons in Super Mario Odyssey, so now I'm farming coins in Luigi's Balloon World to get the last outfits I need. This is going to be the first game I ever 100% complete!
Other than that, I might play Splatoon 2 and maybe a few other Switch games here and there - I haven't played Persona 5 Strikers in a while, so now might be a good time to get back into it!
I just wrapped up Ys IX and I'm starting a Metroid marathon before Dread. Beat "Zero Mission" last night in a single sitting (such a great experience and still my favourite Metroid game) - 2:20 with 60% item collection, which is decent, considering I haven't played it in years.
Starting "Samus Returns" tonight and hope to beat that, Super and Fusion by the 8th. And watch the movie version of "Other M" if I can squeeze that in too.
The hype is off the charts!
Switch - Continuing my playthrough of Skyward Sword HD! Enjoying it so far!
PS5 - Borderlands 3 with friends!
PC - Yet another playthrough of Battletoads!
Have a good weekend everyone.
I just started AI: the somnium files as well and so far I'm really enjoying it.
I played PS4 & Wii U games for this weekend. 🤓
PS4
1. My Universe: Fashion Boutique
2. The Sims 4
3. LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER
Wii U
1. Skylanders Superchargers
2. New Super Mario Bros U
3. Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival
I beat Castlevania Aria of Sorrow and what a classic that was. I hope to be able to play Dawn Of Sorrow on a future collection, with button controls. Please make it happen Konami.
I’ve not played any Mario RPGs and Paper Mario coming to Switch online has got me interested. I’ve started Super Mario RPG, and just met Geno. A very charming game that should keep me busy until Disco Elysium comes to Switch (awaiting reports on how it performs but I’m feeling optimistic).
@Matthew010
Are you no longer moderator here ?
I didn't see a Star mark on your avatar.
This week I will be mostly playing
Star Fox Guard
Mario Vs DK Mini-Land Mayhem
I started Atelier Ryza 2 the other day and immediately got sucked in. Ryza's world looks better than ever.
Alternating that with crocheting a granny square blanket that is about halfway done.
First week of Uni is over so I can finally relax, picked up Mario and Rabbids for 20 quid so gonna play that and continue on with Castlevania Aria of Sorrow, have a nice weekend everyone!
I got Sonic Colours on cart so will be playing that. Never played the original. There’s Doom Eternal DLC and I’ve heard lot’s of good things about Eastward so will purchase that.
I got into YS IX a lot despite its blatant technical faults, I should be able to finish at least most of it before Metroid Dread comes out.
I've always got gaming plans, and they're as gluttonous this weekend as usual. On Switch alone, in the wake of finishing Limbo and close to finishing Wordify, I fancy Truck Driver and Bioshock 2, Portia and Shining Resonance, Terraria and Dusk Diver... regardless of what I'll realistically manage to play.😅 On 3DS, it will likely be more Etrian Odyssey, Rune Factory and Endless Frontier; on Vita, more Blue Reflection and God Eater and another potentially futile attempt to get past the minotaur boss in Dracula X Chronicles. I'd say I got too old for classicvanias... but it's not like I was ever good at them in any of my younger years.😅 Eternia and Tail Concerto are also decent probabilities on the weekend menu.
On PC, the usual suspects (Morrowind/ESO/FFXIII/JC2) have the odds of being joined by Dishonored (which I started replaying here in the absence of the still nonchalantly awaited Switch version) and Red Faction, possibly some NFS (The Run and Undercover) as well.
The amazing greatness that is D2R. Got a Summon Necro to Act 4 @ lvl 27 now, and a lvl 14 BowaZon plus Lvl 15 Pally both fresh into Act 2. Goin smooth and loving every second!
Unsighted and unmetal.. indies for me.. about to complete eastward such a great game. Indies are really hitting the right spots for me this weekend.
More Monster Train. Finally cleared Covenant 25 a couple days back, so am currently aiming to get C25 'Divine Victories' with all clan combinations. It's already tough going.
No gaming plans, but I think I just stumbled upon Nintendo's gaming plan.
Nintendo’s New Strategy is Cloud Gaming.
Nintendo knows how to adapt, that’s how this company survived for over 100 years. They came to the conclusion that chip shortages meant hardware shortages, so the solution is to play next-gen games on existing hardware: it’s possible through cloud gaming.
Existing cloud gaming is limited by bandwidth, but with the help of AI upscaling this problem is solved - as only low resolution stream is needed, the machine learning upscaling will turned it into 4K.
This is reason the OLED Switch has a dock that contains an ARM chip that can be updated through firmware, and also the inclusion of a LAN port. In the near future, Nintendo games can be stream from the clouds through the ethernet and upscaled to 4K. The Nvidia Tegra chip in the Switch will become a dedicated upscaler - performing the upscaling function.
For those who aren’t aware, Nvidia Shield already had this AI upscaler since 2019. It uses the same ‘Mariko’ Tegra X1 chip as the Switch revision from 2019 (red box).
This is why Nintendo gave 4K dev kits to developers, the games were not meant to run on the Switch but in the cloud servers!
Metroid other M. Going to finish the last metroid game that I haven’t played yet before metroid dread all caught up!
Just finished Kirby's Adventure and Metroid on NSO. Rest of the weekend I will play Yoshi's Story on n64 and the Ori demo on Switch. Have a great weekend folks 😄
Monkey ball just arrived in the post. Look forward to giving that a roll. If it doesn't hit the spot then I'll go back to the NGC.
@NoTinderLife I personally don't mind cloud gaming, but ONLY if it's used for games that won't run on the switch. I don't want Nintendo to go down the path of a Netflix gaming service. I have a Stadia for my cloud gaming but if they bought those games to switch I wouldn't say no, but I would for the price they charge!
I just beat bowser on Mario Galaxy but only got half the stars so will continue with that. However first I may play one of my smaller backlog games - maybe Limbo or Wulverblade. Or something on the SNES app which I’ve largely ignored for a good while. Thinking I should clear some of my small game backlog before starting on ffx or octopath traveller (I like a good story driven RPG in the winter) - that way I won’t feel guilty about hitting the inevitable e shop sales around Xmas!
Starting Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy! Very excited, never even played 2 and 3 back in the day, only the first one (as I sold my PS1 for an N64 before they came out 😉)
Blaster Master Zero (NS)
Ace Attorney (DS)
Fuzion Frenzy (XB)
Danganronpa 2 (PC)
@NoTinderLife
I said HELL NO to Cloud gaming.
After finishing Skyward Sword I'm playing Reverie to relax a little before Metroid Dread launches next week
On the Switch Castlevania Advance Collection, finished Dracula X yesterday and moved onto Circle of the Moon. Will also play a bunch of Halo 5 on my XB1, Infinite is just over 2 months away and I'll miss easily being able to find matches in Halo 5.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (3DS) - I've been playing the spooky levels for Halloween.
Equalicious (Windows Phone) - Haven't played for a few days, will be getting back into it now.
Rayman Fiesta Run - Also nearing the halfway point with this as well.
I got centipede recharged. It's pretty good.
@Anti-Matter No, not anymore - I've become a lot busier recently, so don't have enough time to dedicate to moderating. I'm still going to try and remain active in the comments sections, though!
I'm currently on Week 3, Day 1 of Neo: The World Ends With You. It's a good game...maybe a high 7 out of 10. Not as fantastic as the Nintendolife review made it out to be due to some tedium and pacing issues that unnecessarily drag out the game. I can't deny though that the characters, story (when it's not suffering from pacing issues) and music are top notch. Even the battle system is quite fun (but man, about 95% of my pins earned have been useless).
I think when I'm done, I'll switch to something familiar and fun, like Borderlands (which I haven't played the Switch port of yet). I think that's what's making Neo TWEWY a little tedious as well, since I really want to play Borderlands. Haha.
First i’m going to the theater to see No Time To Die. Still on the fence about Castlevania Advanced. Realy like Castlevania, never finished one. Next week it’s Metroid only!!
Super Metroid for me, but with my tendency to bomb every wall looking for secrets I worry I won’t finish in time for Dread!
My daughters may get me to play some Minecraft with them too. Or maybe we’ll pop back into ACNH for a bit.
Either way, have a fun weekend NL friends!
Finished aria of sorrow brilliant stuff glad it got rewind in it that death boss kept getting me. Mite try harmony but damn that main character running looks rubbish! Xxx
@Teksetter Yep, playing Super Metroid too! Will play a bit of Super Monkey Ball.
Starting to lineup some games for the OLED next week. Dread is preordered, and Ori 2 is loaded waiting (been saving this one for ages, so finally booking in some time for it!)
Looking forward to Dread, and Super Metroid is a great warmup. Also really looking forward to the F1 Senna DLC for Horizon Chase Turbo.
Bayonetta till i get platinum on each category and if i succeed during the weekend up to Bayonetta 2 to do the same
Just finished superliminal what a short but crazy game, and I started marvel’s avengers thank you Microsoft for bringing this up on gamepass I am having a blast this week-end!
Switch: miitopia demo for me with my friends.
Xbox: Hades and fortnite
Lost Judgment on PS5, which was one of my two most-wanted games of this fall/holiday season along with Metroid: Dread, which will be on my the playlist next week as well.
Game Pass has gone nuts, so I might have to put the Nintendo consoles down for a bit. Really want to try Scarlet Nexus, and might give Marvel’s Avengers a go. Then there’s AI: The Somnium Files, Astra Ascending and a whole bunch of other stuff I’ve been meaning to get to like FFXIII and Nier Automata.
I will probably end up playing ten minutes on two of them…
@NoTinderLife
An interesting take but I doubt that Nintendo is going all in on cloud gaming. First off it automatically caps the scope and capacity of their market potential, you’d HAVE to have good internet to play games on their systems. Same way they didn’t depend on or make 4K a focus, they know not everyone has a 4K TV.
Also , we can’t omit latency. Gameplay is and will always be King for Nintendo. Any lapse or anything that would impede gameplay is not a part of their philosophy. A game like Mario requires precise timing, very tight responsive gameplay is what makes a game feel fluid. Any lag created by bandwidth would be a major disconnect between the game and the gamer. That’s a definite no for Nintendo. Not to mention, Nintendo still makes a ton of $ selling physical software, it’s also a way for them to combat piracy as well. Not saying they won’t embrace cloud gaming in some way shape or form but it will not be the focal point of their gaming philosophy moving forward, too many barriers.
Started Pumpkin Jack, and am enjoying it. Last week I was working on Mario 64, but I've been running into to tough spots (first time playing through it).
I may play some Rocket League matches, or do some training packs.
just goung to finish upgrading the of the wild armor(and fighting ganon) and then im done with botw, thinking f getting hollow knight but i dont like platformers save mario odyssey, is HK good for ppl who arent into platforming?
Gonna grind the heck out of Age of Calamity. Around 4 hours ago, they just showcased a brand new cutscene at TGS.
I’m about halfway through chapter 1 of Trails of the Sky. Pretty great story with excellent world building
On the final third of Astral Chain! Hoping to finish it by the time Metroid Dread comes out Friday
Being October I am going through Luigi's Mansion 3, seems fitting this time of year.
I’ll be enjoying streets of rage 4 anniversary edition in the switch that I just got along with a little Pokémon yellow for old times sake. My daughter just got into watching the old original run of the Pokémon series so it got me wanting to relive that old game again.
@Rainz Actually cloud gaming is the only way to combat piracy. No one can owns the game anymore, it runs from the server. Cloud gaming is already common place, sooner or later Nintendo will go down this path.
Unlike others, Nintendo knows the deficiency of cloud gaming is due to the bandwidth required. Their solution is to stream low resolution video and upscaled it to high resolution. It doesn't need to be 4K, read Nintendo's patent:
"the techniques herein may be applied to other image sizes (e.g., 720p to 1080p; 480p to 1080p, 1080p to 1440p, 1080p to 4k/3840×2160, 720p to 4k, etc."
https://www.freepatentsonline.com/y2021/0304355.html
Death Stranding DC. Maybe some Valorant.
@nocdaes
I’m fairly certain you’ll see Samus through the end of Super Metroid before me. I feel bad because with me on the joypad, Samus is an obsessive bombomaniac when she’s supposed to be a heroic adventurer! Like seriously, no wall or flat surface is safe.
But enjoy your Metroid run and also Horizon Chase! That’s one I’ve considered playing for a long time.
Gonna try to get back into Monster Hunter Rise. Get in some Mario Golf too.
Playing Mario Galaxy (via 3D all stars) and Advance Wars (via Wii U VC). I am at about 90 stars in Galaxy and on mission 13 in Advance Wars. I’m not sure if I’ll finish Advance Wars before Metroid Dread comes out, but I’ll definitely be jumping right into Metroid Dread on Friday evening.
I'm finished Story Mode in Guilty Gear XX ΛCore Plus R as Slayer on Path 1. After this, probably will play Super Mario Odyssey.
@Matthew010 You like farming coins with Luigi's balloon world over the Cascade kingdom cave, or that Bowswer kingdom challenge?
Baldo it’s really hard lol
@WoomyNNYes I didn't know about either of those two areas eing good for coin farming before, and honestly I do enjoy Balloon World as well - I'll definitely look at those two areas now though, thanks!
Just managed to finish Suikoden 3 yesterday, game was definitely long, I think I ended up clocking up over 70 hours, game ended up being a bit of a mixed bag but I'm glad that I now do have that one under my belt.
But for now I felt like trying Cadence of Hyrule, the Zelda rhythm-game spin off thing, which has been sitting in by backlog ever since the physical version was released. And so far having completed 2 dungeons I shockingly like it a lot more than I thought I would, assuming there's 2 more dungeons and probably 1 final dungeon after that the game seems like perfect lenghth for the type of game it is. This one has some pretty fun remixes and nice sprite art.
@Matthew010 Cascade kingdom cave: Everytime you enter the cave, get the T-rex & go around stomping those little enemy guys, you can get about 100 coins each time. - get T-rex, then walk around that in-cave plateau clockwise stomping on the enemies. You can finish off the last bit of enemies near the cave door. Exit T-rex & cave door. Re-enter to repeat as many times as you want. (for the sake of being quick, there are usually a few enemie guys that don't get stomped, and it's just more efficient to leave the cave & comeback in to replenish the enemies) (if balloon world is faster, let me know, and forgive me.😉)
There's another method in bowser kingdom, but I find it harder consistently get a good number of coins with that challenge. This spot is where you plant a seed for the beanstalk.
@WoomyNNYes Thanks, I'll give those a try!
Super Mario 3D Land on 3DS, forgotten how fun the game was and I'm still really enjoying it third time around. Also Ratchet & Clank 3 HD on PS3 which is great fun too.
Playing Deadly Premonition Origins on the Switch, simply awesome.
On the PS5 I will be continuing through Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart.
Cotton 2 on the Switch.
I'm also trying to mop up a few achievements in Forza Horizon 4 before the next game releases.
I don't have a lot planned gaming wise, although I'm looking to start playing Kid Dracula this weekend. Outside of that, maybe some Rocket League, as well as visit my island on Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Oh and of course some Pokemon Go, although to be fair that's usually an everyday game, even if it's just going into the game, to do the daily spin/catch of the day.
Honestly, like most everyone else, I'm just patiently waiting for Metroid Dread to be released.
GO!
I’ve gotten back into Animal Crossing big time this last month. Now the Halloween stuff has started (which I didn’t do last year). I’ll probably drop off, though, when I pick up Metroid Dread.
Finishing up Samus Returns ahead of Dread's release; playing Dracula X (over and over); and fighting for honor and memes on Smash Ultimate.
Earlier this week I finished Xenoblade Chronicles X and it was awesome! I'm a bit sad the game ended the way it did because now I have so many questions 😅 .
Other than that I'm doing a massive push to finish Mario Rabbids. I've been sitting on that game for so long now so I'm gonna try and finish it once and for all.
Also I pre-ordered Metroid Dread so that is ready to go for next week as well!
Starting Samus Returns in preparation for Dread this week. I've never actually finished a 2D Metroid, so this'll be a first.
Thinking of starting Garden Story as well, for a chill game.
I'm also considering grabbing Hot Wheels Unleashed after seeing all the positive reviews. Seems like fun arcade action, and my nephew is obsessed with Hot Wheels right now.
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
I'll probably play some Monkey Ball, but not be too happy about it. I just bought it digitally and really felt disappointed after 10 minutes. I'll still play a bunch of it, but oh my god I wish it was based on emulation like Mario Galaxy on Switch! Monkey Target is way worse than in Monkey Ball 1 or 2. I suppose it could still be fun, but it pales next to 1 or 2. I'd probably get excited again if they announced Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2 coming to the Switch, but this time for real! They could make it an annual effort/release!
I've been enjoying Ghostrunner, which finally came out at 120fps on PS5. Also liking/playing Gridrunner (via Minotaur arcade on PS5), Castlevania Advance Collection, Super Mario Maker 2, WRC 10 (lovely at 120fps!), and always and forever Rocket League.
Finally took some time and started getting into Borderlands. Great series so far. Streets of Rage 4, Lonely Mountains Downhill, No More Heroes 3…being that it’s October I’ll likely start Outlast 2, complete the DLC in Alien Isolation and complete the amazing game that is Luigis Mansion 3. Then it’s Dread time!
Some bravely default 2 and advance collection
@NoTinderLife
I’d bet Nintendo’s interest in Cloud Gaming is far greater than simply being able to upscale their games to 4k or whatever fidelity. I’d imagine they’d be looking at ways to expand or extend on the initial gaming experience via the cloud. It may become a part of their business plan but not the primary focus. Perhaps they make it part of their online service as an additional feature a la Online Expansion pack ?
Going to wrap up whateber I still need to complete on my Switch to get things ready for DREAD next week!
Just started Super Metroid on NSO which I realized I've never actually played before.
Also some Rogue Legacy which I have slowly been playing in bite-sized chunks.
Playing some spooky games this month. Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon on the 3DS. Diablo 2 Resurrected, Gibbous - A Cthulhu Adventure, Shin Megami Tensei 3, and ACNH on the Switch. Oh, and continuing Great Ace Attorney with Volume 2.
Happy gaming y’all.
Not gonna do some heavy gaming this weekend. Just patiently waiting for Metroid Dread next week!!! That'll be my entire focus once it's here.
In the mean time I might play some Smash or Mario Kart.
Having finished off Ever Oasis this week, I'm now about ten hours into Tales of Vesperia. I'm enjoying the world and characters so far.
Trying to clear some of the backlog, so finished off Axiom Verge last night and just got underway with Alien Isolation (seemed like a good choice for October).
Back playing Splatoon 2 again. Also got Mighty Gunvolt Burst on sale. Fun game.
Have a good weekend everyone.
Super Mario Odyssey weekend for me, so much still left to do after you see the credits in this absolute belter. This and botw are the two essential games I would recommend to any Switch owner.
Breath of the Wild and Smash. Same as last week. And the week before. How creative I am.
eastward and mario golf (the new stuff!!)
...and some layton 1 on ds
40 hours in skyward sword and still enjoying it a lot
Other then this I’ll play some Mario kart 8 online and donkey kong country tropical freeze
Continuing my yearly Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin playthrough. Trying to 100% everything by Halloween. It will be the first time I have ever done it!
I work all Saturday-Monday, Tuesday-Thursday will be more Skyrim and Castlevania. Friday, it’s all about tall space lady.
Taiko no tatsujin. Im late to the party but finally made the purchase, modded the drum for increased sensitivity and am having alot of fun with it. Even have the wife and kids playing it which is an achievement in its own.
@Rainz No, Nintendo knew that people are reluctant to jump on the cloud gaming because of performance - the bandwidth affects the latency and overall responsiveness of the games. By using AI upscaling, the game only needs to stream in low resolution. This makes the game feel snappy like it's running natively on your Switch.
Try watching Youtube in 4K and 480p resolution with your phone and you can feel the difference in speed. Imagine streaming in 480p and upscaled to 4K quality. This makes cloud gaming feasible for many people with low bandwidth internet.
Trying to finish up Windwaker for the first time on WiiU. I played on the GC back in ‘05, but never finished. Restarted about 2 years ago, but didn’t finish. Picked it back up a couple weeks ago and want to finish before Dread comes.
Slay the Spire, Diablo II, and Doorkickers are on my rotation this weekend.
After playing a lot of DOOM Eternal and Quake on Switch recently, I got New Super Lucky’s Tale yesterday and so far it’s really fun. £9.99 in Argos but be aware, it’s a box with a code in it. I don’t mind downloading it, and you get the full Gold Coins based on the current eShop price, so that’s a positive. Have Dread preordered, looking forward to getting that email to say it has been dispatched…
Pretty much Sable on the Xbox for me this weekend.
@Teksetter ahaha well here's the thing... I've not bombed every wall and I'm suffering a severe shortage of health and missiles as a result, so I'm going to have to backtrack a lot (albeit with the aid of a certain ability I'm about to acquire!) - I suspect we may net out around the same playtime!
I have been (re-)playing STEAWORLD DIG 2 and have just started on SUBNAUTICA (Switch). The later is very promissing indeed, and I'm even not that experienced in the survival-genre.
Cris Tales and er ... Panty Party on Switch.
Lightening Force on the Genesis/Mega Drive.
Replaying through the shovel knight campaigns (except Plague as can’t get the hang of that)
Steel thy shovel!
Tetris Effect on PS4
No More Heroes III and the Messenger on Switch
