We're almost at the halfway point through November, and it's been a busy old time all right. With Pokémon arriving very soon, we've been digging into the minutiae of the excellent Animal Crossing DLC while we have the time. Elsewhere, Twitch appeared on Switch, as did GTA Trilogy in unfortunately poor form, and we've also taken delivery of the delightful Zelda Game & Watch, too.
Now, though, it's time to chill out and discuss our weekend gaming plans. A few members of the Nintendo Life team have done just that below, so feel free to give our entries a read and then join in with your own via our comment section. Enjoy!

It's probably time to finally setup my farm in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, so I have a weekend of digging and stuff ahead. I'm also doing second playthroughs of Astral Chain and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, it depends on whether I want intense action or RPG goodness on any given day.
Elsewhere I'm getting stuck into the first proper 'season' in Forza Horizon 5, and I'm early on in the first game in Mass Effect Legendary Edition. I never played them back in the day, but like it so far — looking forward to ME2 though, which everyone seems to say is the best one.

This weekend, I will be playing MORE Animal Crossing, including the Happy Home Paradise expansion. I'm very proud of myself for taking it (relatively) slowly this time, although I can already feel the brainworms of "other people's designs are so cool and inspiring" working their way into my psyche.

Hello all! This weekend, I'll be chipping away at Animal Crossing: New Horizons and taking a peek at some of the new goodies introduced in the latest update. I'm also restarting The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, because apparently I hate myself and can't admit that it's just not for me.
Over on the Series X, I'm absolutely loving my time with Forza Horizon 5. My car of choice right now is the 720S Spider McLaren; spicy stuff! I've also downloaded GTA: San Andreas and enjoying my time with it so far (whack it on performance mode folks; trust me).

Hello. This weekend if I manage to eke out a little spare time, I’ll also be diving into some good old Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, a port I’m hearing won’t have me pulling my hair and teeth out in frustration.
I’ve also got two kids who are now totally addicted to Just Dance 2022 so I’m probably going to have to get up out of my old man chair and flail around the sitting room to that as well. The joys. Have a great weekend!

November madness continues. Shin Megami Tensei V is finally here and I look forward to a good slice of it this weekend. I somehow missed the release of Gas Guzzlers Extreme, it’s a literal blast and I can’t put it down. Gynoug and Retro Highway will be my weekly retro fix, along with Geometry Wars: Galaxies on Wii.
Game of the Week is Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Since I never owned an Xbox, my memories of this one do not extend beyond the prologue. I’m quite looking forward to play this “Proto-Mass Effect” and hope the sequel drops next year.
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave us a comment below with your weekend gaming plans!

My physical copy of Shin Megami Tensei V is sitting here ready to be played and my intention was to play it at launch but before I can do that I need to get through all the side stories in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus... and to do that I need to stop playing The Binding of Isaac: Repentance all day every day. So the short version is that I’ll be playing TBOI this weekend.
Diablo 3, it’s amazing how good it is ported, performances are to notch!
What are you moaning about this weekend more like!
GTA Trilogy? N64 games on the NSO? Me? Well...
I'll be moaning about UPS delaying the delivery of my Switch till Monday. Booo! But I hope everyone has a fun weekend
I'm not hanging around, tucking into Shin Megami Tensei V right this moment. Not sure why but Hard mode it is! I might live to regret that decision.
Happy gaming everyone.
Still doing Witcher’s expansion pack, Blood and Wine. Might finish it this weekend but thoroughly enjoying it!
SWITCH
GTA Trilogy - Slowly making my way through the trilogy, saving San Andreas for last though!
Shin Megami Tensei V - Starting this one today! It's my first game in the series so wish me luck!
PC
Garry's Mod - alcohol-fueled mayhem with friends later tonight!
Have a good weekend everyone.
Was looking forward to bite into SMTV, but my Switch bit the dust first...
So my All-Achievements run of FFV-Pixel Remaster it is instead.
Right now I have Crusader of Centy paused to type this. On a model 1 Genny through a glorious composite connection, just like old times
Shin Megami Tensei V, which I've been awaiting forever. I fired it up as soon as I had tbe lving room to myself last night, but - as I expected - fell asleep in my chair ten minutes later, because work has been running me ragged. So I'll be trying again this morning and hopefully won't fall asleep.
At some point I may do some Ring Fit Adventure, if I can summon the energy for it.
Continuing my campaign of Doom 3 on my Switch
I'm bouncing between Animal Crossing New Horizons, GTA Vice City and Ocarina of Time on Switch.
Started a new island on AC and the Town Hall has just been built so hopefully not too long until the extra content unlocks. Whilst on Vice City I'm not fair off taking down Ricardo Diaz and for an unplayable game I've sure found it easy to get to this point and had fun whilst doing so
Animal Crossing New Horizons All Day Long ! 😃
I keep Time Travelling between 17 & 18 November 2021 to exploit new items from Redd that arrived on my island. At the same time i did some island makeover, relocated Sherb's house, trim the Campsite size, add some expensive vehicles on the road, still looking for a gym teacher jacket after I missed them from Able Sister.
Oops...!
I played ACNH again for straight 10 days in a row since 4 November 2021 and I forgot to give some attention with my other games purchases. 😅
Animal Crossing, Tetris Effect and Crash Bandicoot Trilogy
First time commenter. I’ve got quite the backlog! I’m hoping to finish Mario Galaxy on Switch before diving into SMTV5. Then more onto Guardians of the Galaxy on PS5, might boot up some Forza 5! Enjoy the weekend everybody!
rush rally origin
On Switch, I'll be split between Final Fantasy XII and Knights of the Old Republic. Between those and Brilliant Diamond next week, I don't think I have enough RPGs to play on the system...
I'm picking up my Zelda Game & Watch tomorrow, so I'll probably play around with it a bit. It's making me realize I really need to get back to A Link to the Past on my 3DS, though, so I might try to finish that before I play anything seriously on the G&W. I need to get in some more Silent Hill 1 as well.
On Switch, I'm playing through Cat Quest. I'd forgotten how much I enjoy this, from the combat system right down to the awful puns.
Also playing Forza Horizon 5.
As its the weekend and im finally getting my wife in games (its only taken 11 years) we will continue to play mario party with the the kids and ive got her addicted to Tetris 99 but as we cant play competitively agains each other ive purchased Puyo puyo-Tetris 2 which weve been loving. Apart from that im due to pick up SMTV later today so will give it a blast.
Firstly I plan on getting a game in of Mario party online, then I will play some more sinking city which I bought yesterday and some more neptunia x senran kagura on ps5
My copy of shin megami tensei 5 came yesterday but im letting my partner get quite far ahead of me first before I play all day tomorrow.
Weekly BotW 100% update
2 divine beasts
84 shrines
489 korok seeds
100 hours
I came close to tackling Vah Naboris recently but decided to explore the whole of Gerudo Desert first. Of course, to do that I needed the sand boots to make traversal of the sand less painful. So, off I went to the Gerudo Highlands tower with snow boots in hand, uncovered that part of the map and proceeded to explore every inch of it. It was quite the hefty detour.
Back in the desert now though, with boots in hand (on foot?) and looking forward to exploring that new vastness. This game is wonderful and I’m now nearly at the same hour count I was when I originally finished the game with 4 divine beasts, 120 shrines and 200 odd seeds (115 hours)
3rd attempt (in about 3 years) on Thumper and I’m conceding that, while I really like the game, it’s just too difficult for my levels of patience.
So on to Final Fantasy X. FFVI is one of all time favourite games, and I loved VII and IX so maybe I should have played more FF games before now. Anyway, enjoying it so far, and should probably see me through for a good few weeks.
I'm gonna continue playing story of seasons while the free trial is still there. Apart from that, probably just my usual dose of Animal crossing and RPG maker mv.
This week I will be mostly playing
Age of Calamity
Toki Tori 2+
Also toying with starting Pokémon Black 2
Forza horizon 5, animal crossing happy home paradise and pokemon shield.
Not much to say about them. I am really enjoying FH5 tho, it’s my first forza game.
I was looking for amiibo cards and left Target with an Xbox Series X so I hooked that bad boy up on Thursday night. I have tested out Fallout 4 and Psychonauts (the old Xbox game, not the sequel) and both look great on XSX. My wife couldn't believe Psychonauts was a 2005 game! I also streamed FFXV to my iPad and that looks better even doing that. I'll probably test some more games out but I want to beat Psychonauts.
On Switch, I have been playing SSBU and lots of ACNH. On the latter, I'm redesigning my island because of the update and I got something from Brewster after getting coffee for a few days in a row. I've also played a good amount of Happy Home Paradise. That's been a very fun part of the game for me, which I didn't think would happen. Also played some FE:3H. I'm playing the Golden Deer house and it's been interesting even if they kind of are the third wheel. Might play some more if I get a chance to. Anyway, hope everyone is having a great weekend.
Series S: Back4Blood with friends, Forza Horizon 5 and Forgotten City. Thank you gamepass.
Ps5: Death Stranding DC. Keep on keeping up!
Switch: GF playing the Pokemon Shield DLCs.
Have a nice weekend everybody!
I’m up to the final boss on Metroid Dread. What I hope is the final form is proving difficult. Once this is done I will finally start Axiom Verge 2. Will spend some time with Zelda Skyward Sword and Game & Watch.
The usual "feast of a thousand bites" planned for Switch - from more expansive worlds like Portia, Skyrim, Saints Row 3, Starlink and Xenoblade(s) to the variably more concise but hardly less memorable experiences like Fuga, Children of Morta, The Count Lucanor, The Solitaire Conspiracy... even a bunch of smaller activity apps like Suguru Nature and Sudoku Relax (which, in its turn, may pave the way for a couple more stages of Sudoku Gridmaster, a loooongtime NDS playthrough of mine).
Speaking of NDS, there are odds for other titles from that library (most likely the recent usual suspects like Rune Factory and Endless Frontier, possibly a leisurely shot at a few others I gluttonously loaded up after upgrading the respective storage to 32 Gb), but as far as the actual 3DS hosting the flash card goes, there are also Etrian Odyssey, Spirit of Justice and Fire Emblem Echoes to keep in mind. Might even start Ever Oasis at long last - despite being generally resistant to "backlog stress", I do recurrently feel borderline ashamed that I have yet to.😅
The laptop library witnessed me grab Dark Messiah of Might & Magic earlier this week (I didn't deem myself financially capable of more VG spendings until later in the month, but literal 70 cents was something I could accommodate), so I'm definitely giving it a try, but the rest of the respective time will most likely be spent across various chronicles of Tamriel, in Liberty City or Los Santos (the newer ones), on Panau Island and/or on Gran Pulse. For all I know, I might even resume and make a bit more progress in The Witcher, too.
I'm all in on SMT V and will be for some time. Whilst I've only played a few hours of 3 and 4, I finished Persona 3, 4 and 5 last year so at this point the gameplay feels very comfortable. I've made some progress so far but the difficulty jump over Persona is very much real. Need to grind a bit more before I unlock the next few areas I think.
I absolutely love the soundtrack so far. The game looks good, but equally I feel like the qualification "for a Switch title" is kind of needed at this point. Perhaps I've been spoiled by the PS5, but returning to the Switch the lack of power is very much apparent. It's not going to ruin the game or anything - gameplay is still king - but it would be nice to see a Switch revision which allows these kinds of game to shine more than they can. The game must be at the limits of what the hardware can achieve as the fan is really singing during play. The only other game I remember doing this was Fire Emblem Three Houses.
Having a great week. Had an Xbox one for a while still don’t like interface etc but the sweet joys of backwards compatibility! Symphony of the night! Halo ODST and gonna play splinter cell conviction! Got to get my sweet gynoug this weekend xxxxx
SMT 5 is sitting on my shelf, I'll get to it eventually... I've been having so much fun playing the GTA Trilogy, so I'll be on that mostly over the weekend. Mabey a little Dying Light and World War Z also.
This week with games was really good for me. I'm finished Story Mode in Resident Evil: Revelations on easy mode. I'm beated Seaside Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey. Beated Arcade Mode in BLAZBLUE CENTRALFICTION Special Edition as Mu-12. Bought Corpse Party: BloodCovered... Repeated Fear and beated 1st chapter on all endings, beated 2nd on True End, and beated 1st Extra Chapter on all endings. The only thing that is bothering me now with the game, is cutted off opening. There is NO Asami Imai's song Shangri-La in the game! Or, at least, Team GrisGris just cutted off the game's opening. It's really sad. 3DS remake featured opening(with Shangri-La song in it). But, in overall, I love this game. Bought invincibility in Capcom Arcade Stadium. And thanks to this thing, I'm beated Strider Hiryū. I'm think, that this game is overrated. I've given it a 2,3/5. On gold points I've bought Tenchi o Kurau(Dynasty Wars). I'm beated this game with invincibility, but I really enjoyed playing this game. It's fun and really good game. I don't expected that I will enjoy playing this game. It's even have good English voiceovers, if compare to other Capcom CPS-I, CPS-II and CPS-III games. I'm beated a few missions in Mission Mode in Guilty Gear XX ΛCore Plus R. That's all what I'm played on Nintendo Switch. On Android, I'm finished Metal Slug 3 for the 1st time. That's all what I'm played on this week.
@charlieonholiday That one added 20 hours on to my total playtime enjoy!😁
Focusing on XB1 this weekend, namely Halo 5. With lots of rumours very strongly suggesting Halo Infinite's multiplayer launches on Monday (November 15th) rather than December 8th, it seems this weekend will be the last few days to fully be able to enjoy Halo 5's multiplayer before the player base largely decreases due to Infinite.
I'll be playing kingdoms of amalur on switch. And some sideswiped on the original DS.
Still playing Mad Max on my PS4, awesome game.
Picking up my copy of SMTV tomorrow so hopefully I'll get to start that between short bursts of Fight 'n'Rage.
Guardians on ps5, started to warm up to it more in the second half (story wise anyways, gameplay is satisfactory I guess).
Forza horizon 5 too. The setting of Mexico is awesome.
Once I’m done with guardians I might pick up smt v or kotor for switch, or I’ll just wait until Black Friday and see what I can get there.
SMT V for me, after waiting so long I’ll be savouring it. The focus on exploration is fantastic so far (only 2 hours in).
I'll be playing Shin Megami Tensei V this weekend,
i won't spoiled anything, but, i'm having a blast with the game so far, might have to say that this is my top between Shin Megami Tensei IV and Shin Megami Tensei III
Heard a lot of good things about this new pokemon game called Shin Megami Tensei V. Started playing it yesterday and i really love it!
GTA III Trilogy ... or I will try to
Also real board game Star Trek Ascendency.
Wish Star Trek: Conquest were released for Switch.
I'll continue with Great Ace Attorney Resolve, which has been very dense so far, I played a lot during the week and I'm only in the fourth case, the second and third one almost felt like final cases from other games.
It’ll be another busy weekend for me, but I’m hoping to squeeze in some more ACNH with the kiddos (maybe try out the Happy Home Paradise DLC) and then more Dying Light after bedtime.
Yup, slamming my brain from super cottage-core interior decorating with adorable fuzzies straight into gratuitous gore parkour shotgun zombie-decapitating action!
I may need to make a therapy appt soon. 😵💫
The cover image SHOULD be Shin Megami Tensei V. It's one of the biggest releases of the year!
I'm currently on an FPS kick. I beat Doom 2016 last week (which was a fantastic power trip), and now I'm midway through Dusk (which I thought was going to be similar, but man is this game creepy. I like it). I also picked up Bioshock Infinite and Project Warlock, but I'll be saving those for the rest of the year.
Aside from that, I also picked up a couple of retro games, which I'll test out today and try to get the hang of. I snagged NFL Blitz 2000 for N64 and Mario Strikers: Charged on Wii for ridiculously good prices. I can't wait to get into them.
I had to bribe my friend with sushi to get it for me on day 1 so SMT V and nothing else.
I picked up Yoku’s Island Express on sale this week and played through the main quest. It is a neat/different idea. The pinball physics are really good.
I think I am giving up on Minish Cap, at least for now. I think it is either just not for me or not for me right now. I liked the dungeons I played but getting to the next one has felt like a chore figuring out what I am supposed to do to get there. I like the pixel art and some of the music that is different from other Zelda games. Maybe I am just burned out on Zelda games or something. I played a fair number of them over the past year.
Next, I’ll probably try starting Axiom Verge or maybe Metroid Fusion. I keep thinking about playing Metroid Dread a 3rd time too. The thought of replaying Hollow Knight has also crossed my mind, but I am not sure I want to play a game that long.
Two fabulous games for me this weekend. On Switch, I’ll be finishing off Metroid Dread. I’ve had it for a couple weeks now, but I’m having such a fun time with it that I really don’t want it to end. Over on PS5, I’m still making my way through Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut. Such a beautiful game.
@Teksetter I'm erm...dying to play dying light again. I was really getting into it before my Switch died
Monster hunter rise…………..until further notice!
Gonna beat Calamity Ganon in BOTW then finally jump into the Animal Crossing update 😎
Shin Megami Tensei V!
A little bit of Animal Crossing New Horizons and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate cpu battles.
Trying to clear at least 1 area in Metroid: Samus Returns, cleared Zero Mission last week snd trying to beat the first 4 before buying Dread.
Maybe watch some Naruto and The Walking Dead.
Waiting to play Shin Megami Tensei V for when I maybe get a new tv in the coming two weeks.
Working as usual this weekend. Might finish up my second play through of Metroid Dread later tonight though. Although I do not relish the thought of facing Raven Beak again.
Oh and I played through Gynoug last night. It was excellent. I love shooters that have absolutely bizarre enemies and bosses, and this game has that in spades.
@GrailUK
I know!! I was hoping by now you’d have your Switch back, or an OLED would have fallen into your lap. Poor Grail…
But chin up, right? At least the repair will be done soon. And if you’re like me at all you probably have half a lifetime’s worth of backlogged retro games to play - maybe now’s your chance!
I hope you have a fun weekend and a lovely reunion with your Switch soon! ❤️
@Teksetter Ty.
ill play more ACNH while over on the xbox ill be playing world of warships
In the end I bought Dicey Dungeons for £3 to help me get over the disappointment of no decent GTA on switch.
I'm still hoping there's a patch or sale of San andreas on its own.
Bravely default 2, OoT 3d and just bought avgn adventures 1 + 2 deluxe
Tackling daily challenges in * Tetris 99* and being consumed by Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light - not an easy game! Just made it to Chapter 9. Also checking in on Pikmin Bloom every morning and evening
Animal Crossing, Pokémon Sword, and Fatal Frame.
@GrailUK
I forgot to add - don’t worry, the zombies will be there when you get back 😉 🧟♂️ 🧟♀️🧟
SMT V and Beyond Blue have been a great use of my time as of late. Well worth getting.
@Kidfunkadelic83 If you're in the UK Argos are selling Tetris 99 on cart with 12 months NSO for £19.99
Touhou Luna Nights and Flynn: Son of Crimson on switch. They've been sitting in my backlog for a while.
Thinking of also jumping back into Hardspace: Shipbreaker on PC. Haven't played any of the new story content they added in July and September.
Slowly wrapping up the DLC 2 for Hyrule Warriors AOC.
I'm playing Sonic Colours Ultimate on PS4, almost done but will have to get all the red rings and S ranks. Great game.
Also some Kirby Planet Robobot on 3DS.
Just chilling in my new house, finally complete with all furniture, lights, ornaments and all of my other items in place, playing some Shin Megami Tensei 5. Life is kind of good sometimes.
Most likely more Pokemon Shield for me; I (finally) started the game last weekend and am enjoying it so far. Just cleared the second gym. Some minor complaints to be sure, such as routes outside the Wild Area being pretty linear (Hoping this becomes less so as I advance the story), Hop is annoying, and the game still being pretty hand-holdy like other recent entries; to its credit, it does allow you to skip some tutorial dialogue sections. The Wild Area is one of the best things to happen to the series in years, Galar is beautiful, and I love many of the new Pokemon designs I've run across.
Elsewhere, as my "side" game...I haven't decided yet. I'm debating between starting either Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask on 3DS or the original Doki Doki Literature Club on PC.
Happy gaming!
@andyg1412 yup. I buy it every year, use the code, sell the game to CEX which gives me a cheap 1 year sub 😁
I'm currently playing R-Type Dimensions EX, starting with R-Type I; Sheesh this game is tough, but I will persevere!
The header did ask what we were "playing", so though it's not a game, I will be hitting "play" on the movie Ghostbusters I, then II, then "playing" The Video Game, all in prep for Ghostbusters: Afterlife-- What a great time to be a Ghostbusters fan
I finally “beat” animal crossing (forgot about the island evals for a long time) and will be checking out the DLC. Metroid dread will be the main focus for the rest of my weekend gaming time.
I'll probably play some Mario Party Superstars with the fiancee, as I got it for her for her birthday. I'll also play some more Kaze and the Wild Masks as well, I only managed to play the first couple of stages, but I'm digging it so far. I may or may not play Animal Crossings: New Horizons and Super Smash Bros.: Ultimate at some point as well.
@MeloMan
Sounds like you’ve got plenty to keep you busy between now and Nov 19th! I’m no huge fan but always liked the original Ghostbusters movies, and I’m glad to learn they’re getting a proper sequel (from the sounds of it).
I had a lot of fun playing through the game on Switch a couple of Halloweens ago, too.
Enjoy all that bustin’! 😁👻
Animal Crossing - Don't have the paid DLC, but enjoying the 2.0 stuff still.
Super Mario Maker 2 - playing the new Zelda Ninji speedrun
Blue reflection: second light (demo) - curious about this one so trying out the demo
Amazing Princess Sarah - don't judge, it's fun.
foregone - bought this on sale recently and enjoying the beginning so far.
I stayed up late last night and finally finished Darksiders 3!!!!! It's a masterpiece and my second favorite in the series after 2.
Tonight I would like to start Dread. I played for about an hour when it launched but was distracted by life and Darksiders. Now I'm ready to get fully sucked in
@Tad welcome!!! I hope you make this a weekly tradition with us!
Too many games. Probably try to (finally) finish DREAD as I keep buying new games to play.
I got immortals fenyx rising for 5 bux phisical at best buy so I dived into that and am finding it fun as hell. The 5 bux purchase may be effecting my level of happy with it tho. Either way win.
N64 games on the Switch app. All those games never looked better. I'll continue with Winback, a game I never played before, and the cups of Mario kart 64. I'm playing OoT with my duaghter, so I'll wait until I get home to continue that. And tomorrow I'll do another speedrun on Metroid Dread while I'm at work.
I decided to take a little break from doing my 100% completion playthrough for Dragon Quest XI and I decided to hop back into Persona 4 Golden. I've just gotta say Persona 4 is absolutely amazing! Initially, I was going to pick up Shin Megami Tensei V on day one but I decided to hold off until I finish Persona 4.
I'll be playing Gta SA DE, loving it even though they could've done more
Also been feeling really nostalgic about the ezio trilogy so i might play this too
On nintendo switch it's Mario party superstars online, age of calamity, roaming around in Medroid Dread because i don't want to finish it before i have it 100%
my daily routine in Animal Crossing New Horizons: do Group Streaching, go to the Roost for a cofee break, go for Kapp'n boat tour(Island), check my daily fortune, dig some fossils/Gyriods fragments.
Was at a World Cup qualifying game last night! Was nice to be out watching some proper footy among 48,000 rabbid fans enjoying the win!
This weekend I’ll be straight up, I’m going to try and RELAX this weekend. I’ve got an amazing strain of some Red Congo 😉 on deck so I’ll be living the high life playing more of the ACNH update…I’ve put in over 600 hrs and haven’t even “built” my island up yet..sitting on over $25M in Bells lol. So much to do still! MH RISE has seen a big comeback for me as I juuust starting really tackling the Hub quests…having a great time hunting with others.
I’ll likely save my hearty Indicas for some night time gaming, still playing through HOLLOW KNIGHT and Outlast 2. Splatoon 2 is still big with my fam so I’ll be getting in some matches for sure. Other than that, I’m going to eat very good food, attempt to clear thru some backlog and just enjoy the tail end of 2021.
Best of weekends to y’all!!
@MeloMan
Damn..u just reminded me about the Ghostbusters game! It’s deep in the backlog, forgot I even had it until u mentioned it. Might have to give that one a spin, you’re right it’s perfect timing with Afterlife releasing shortly!
Eh! Your Avatar has inspired me to throw on some J Dilla this weekend, perfect compliment to my chillax mandate this weekend! Hit me up, I’ll shoot u my friend code!
Have a good one!
Game and Watch Zelda 👌
Wrapped up Bastion this week, and started in on Ori and the Will of The Wisps! I’ll play more of that this weekend, and am considering jumping into Saint’s Row: Re-Elected or Burnout Paradise. Happy gaming, everyone!
Looks like xenoblade x, and finishing up bayonetta
I finally finished Monster Hunter Stories 2 yesterday, which is definitely in my top 5 switch games now. It was such a blast and I hope we'll get another game in the series one day! Now that that's done, I'm gonna move onto other games in my backlog that I haven't gotten to, like Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. I'm well into Case 2 now and I had forgotten how good this game was! I'll also play Mario Party Superstars and Dead By Daylight with friends as usual.
We’ve been having a Team Cycle to raise funds for Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, I did 40k today on a static bike and I am sooooore 😅 Beyond that I’ll be playing some Dread, just got the Gravity Suit and it is a game changer. Really enjoying the game. Have a lovely weekend all
Super Metroid, Forza Horizon 5, and hopefully I can pull myself away from those to get Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Psychonauts off the backburner.
Mahjong by Microsoft (Droid) - Daily challenges and random puzzles.
Bad Piggies (Windows Phone) - Still enjoying this take on Angry Birds.
Burn the Rope (Windows Phone) - Also enjoying this puzzle game as well.
On a side note: I'm having friends over tonight to watch AEW Full Gear. I'll be drinking beer and eating bbq chicken pizza to my hearts content tonight
@Rainz Ah, a fellow J Dilla appreciator! Yeah, that's my weekend vibe right there. Enjoy Ghostbusters:TVG. Cheers!
@Link41x Awesome, I actually forgot that was on tonight, so thanks for the reminder.
@Ironcore yes! Great game! I got it at launch and I am still playing it. I am not good, but i am having so much fun.
@MischiefMaker thank you for admitting that! I love the visuals and the music, but i just couldn't get the rhythm right. (And i am a musician!) There's not a difficulty optuon, right?
@SuperBiny64 burnout paradise is great! I have played many racing games, it is easily in the top 3. So much fun, so much content!
Animal Crossing New Horizons! DLC!
Burnout Paradise! Townscaper!
Happy gaming everyone!
Still the same as the last few weeks. On Switch it's Metroid Dread (fourth playthrough), on PS5 it's Guardians of the Galaxy.
@MeloMan
Dilla is my #1 fav hip hop artist/producer. Nothing hits quite like a Dilla beat but u already know this! Dilla beats, great food/Kush and gaming is the official weekend lol
Wun!
Switch: After finishing metroid dread, maybe mario sunshine.
Xbox: Playing forza horiozn 5 on series s.
@dugan Its such a well made game, you can tell its made by people who enjoy racing games and really just wanted a good game for them to play themselves. I'm garbage at games too. The mindset I adopted so no to be disheartened by that is I see myself as merely a tourist in the games I play and not some sort of professional and that way I dont place any sort of expectation on myself.
Always switching between Just Dance 2022, Animal Crossing & DOAX Scarlet on the Switch
@dugan Yeah I just found it too unforgiving. But I don’t regret buying it (think I got it in a sale) as it was quite a unique experience while it lasted.
It is going to be Mario Party Superstars and possibly Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64 Online application for me this weekend most likely.
Playing fortnite, battletoads ( Xbox series S ), metroid dread and sea of thives( Xbox series S )
Nekopara: Volume 1 and Doom Eternal (for the 4th time, lol). I also just won a Switch OLED off eBay so I should have that by next week!
@JasmineDragon I do 12 hour shifts in a hospital where I take care of patients in a transplant unit so I feel ya there, lol
@JustMonika Lol, veterinary technician here. Living the dream! 🩺
Completed the fantastic Batman: The Enemy Within (I really miss Telltale Games), have been shocked by how addictive Qubic Games’ Space Pioneers is (think I picked it up in that insane free download deal they did over a recent holiday season), and squeezed in some Horace on Switch. Also fired up my N64 for Kobe Bryant Courtside (playing a season as the Atlanta Hawks).
Animal Crossing: New Horizons been playing since release and haven't missed a single day and still slowly enjoying everything to this day
